  • Should I add someone I used to supervise as a friend on Facebook?

I transferred to another site in our agency and am no longer going to be her supervisor. On my last day, she said she wanted to look me up on Facebook and add me (she already knew I have a Facebook account). Is it unethical?

  • How can I get a free firewall program for my pc?

I'm using our mac right now. We also have a pc that is hooked up to the cable modem and router.

We haven't been able to get an internet connection on the pc since reconnecting it after renovating our house.

My husband contacted our ISP. He was told that it isn't the pc, otherwise we wouldn't be able to connect via the mac. We were told that the firewall program we have expired, as far as the free trial period is concerned.

Our money is near depleted after the renovation (trust me, it was very necessary for us to keep living here). So, we cannot afford to buy a new one.

Is there a firewall program that I can download from the mac and burn it to a disc and then install it on the pc?

  • I need ideas for building a new bookcase?

I want to build my own book case, cd storage shelving and dvd storage shelving. What we have now looks like something from a college dorm, or okay for an apartment. This is our first house. I want something that looks like adults own the house, that will last.

I've thought of getting a cheap cabinet that I can remove the doors from. Ore get them set up on the floor, and stack them. I also need to have something for the t.v. that will match.

  • Is it possible to operate an electric clothes dryer without a vent?

There is already a washer in the kitchen. We would like to add our dryer because drying clothes on the line outside takes too long, during the cold weather season. I don't have time to wait on clothes drying on a line.

Another thing I've considered is to have the washer and dryer in a storage shed. I haven't tried to find a vent opening in the wall of the shed (it's entirely wood). There is a small window, however.

If I do in fact, need a vent hole, how can I install one? We have a block construction house. It would be easier to create a vent hole in the storage shed (again, all wood).

    Thank you.
