  • 97 lumina overheating?

my 97 lumina is overheating after very short period of time. the coolant in the reserve is boiling after about 10 minutes of running. the coolant fans aren't turning on either. i replaced the thermostat, bled the coolant, all levels of coolant are good. i hot wired the fans to the battery directly and they turned on, so they work. i thought of changing the temp sensor but it looks brand new! what else should i be trying here? is there a way to test the relays?

  • same person overheating/antifreeze boiling Q:?

posted earlier about my 97 chevy lumina overheating and the antifreeze boiling in the reserve tank. All levels of antifreeze are where they should be in the radiator and the reserve. I ran the engine a few minutes ago to see what was going on. What I observed: radiator fans started up when I initially started the car, they turned off after about 5 minutes and never turned on again. I ran the car until it was overheating and the fans never kicked back on. I turned the car off, restarted it to see if they'd run but they didn't. Where do I go from here to find out what the problem is? circuit? fan motor? why would it kick on initially but turn off after the car was hot and not turn on again?

  • antifreeze boiling/overheating?

I have a 1997 chevy lumina. driving to work today, everything was fine until i got off the interstate and slowed down. my car started to overheat. i got back on the interstate and the temp gauge went down again. when i got to work, i heard a strange sound, popped the hood and the antifreeze was boiling in the reserve tank. can't afford a mechanic, (first day on the job!) what could possibly be wrong and anything i could replace myself to avoid expensive mechanic bill? car still blows heat but ac isn't cold, just cool

  • Fair complexion= clown?

I need some help finding some makeup and tips for myself. I am fair skinned with freckles, lots of freckles... blond hair and blue eyes. I have found tons of guides for people with dark complexions.. if I put on make up like that, I end up looking like a clown or drugged out. I would like to find a makeup style for myself that is sexy, not invisible! I am the master at putting on make up so 'you can't tell you're wearing makeup' but I'd like to spice it up once in awhile. Where those guides for smoky eyed freckled girls.. or even as extreme as the porn stars who don't look like Asia Carrera? Any links, vids or guides would be greatly appreciated! ty :)

  • What is a free software to copy dvd's?

I need a free software to copy unprotected dvd's. I just want to copy them- not shrink, decrypt, or edit. Something simple, yet don't want to lose quality and discs will still work on most (ALL) dvd players. Tyvm.

  • long lasting bubbles?

does anyone know the name of the bubbles that last long.. they are not the ones you blow with a tube, you use a wand like normal bubbles and come in a bottle but they don't pop very easily. they more or less deflate instead of pop. they are not gazillions or magic bubbles. they cost about five dollars a bottle.
