How to strengthen demi pointe to pointe?
I'd like to know how to strengthen the part of your foot that you use to go from demi pointe to pointe (all the way up on the box). I know I could just strengthen it by doing the actual movement, but that's really hard for me so I'd like to start out slowly. I have a thera band if you want to give me some exercises to do with that. Thanks!
2 AnswersDancing1 decade agoGarlic and Apple Cider Vinegar to repel fleas and ticks?
I'm getting a Yorkie soon and I don't want to use a bunch of chemicals to repel fleas and ticks. I've heard that feeding your dog garlic or putting apple cider vinegar in its water or spraying it on your dog would help. Has anyone tried either of these methods and did it work for you? Thanks!
8 AnswersDogs1 decade agoWill my dog get confused going potty inside and outside?
I'll be getting a Yorkie soon, and I want to train her to potty inside the house (on a wee wee pad). I know that you're supposed to use a command when you're potty training your puppy. If I go out somewhere with my Yorkie, and I want her to potty before we go inside a building, will she know what I mean when I use the command, although she's not on a wee wee pad? I hope this isn't confusing. Thanks for your help!
6 AnswersDogs1 decade agoHow do you do your fouette turns?
When you do fouette turns, do you like to develope your leg to the front and whip it to second and then passe, or do you take it straight to second and then passe. I'm just wondering which way most people do it. Thanks everyone!
3 AnswersDancing1 decade agoHow can I train my Yorkie to potty inside and out?
I'll be getting a Yorkie soon, and I want to train it to go potty inside. I've been reading a lot of books about how to care for Yorkies, and the books said that you can train it to potty inside, but you also need to train it to go outside because it won't always be able to potty inside and it can't be afraid to go somewhere else. So I know I need to train it to go inside AND outside. But I also know that when I'm potty training it, I have to be consistent and take it to the same place every time. So, can someone tell me how to train my Yorkie to potty inside and outside? Thanks!

4 AnswersDancing1 decade agoHas magnesium helped your menstrual cramps?
I have terrible menstrual cramps, and I heard that magnesium helps so I've been taking that all month. My period is supposed to start tomorrow and I'm really worried about cramping, so I was just wondering, have you ever tried magnesium for menstrual cramps and has it worked? Or do you know anybody who's tried it? Thanks!

1 AnswerDancing1 decade agoCan something have potential and kinetic energy at the same time?
For example, a roller coaster. When it's being pulled to the top of the first hill, it seems like it has kinetic energy (because it doesn't stop moving), and potential energy (because it's at the top of the hill). But then I was thinking that maybe it doesn't have kinetic energy until it drops from that first hill, because when it's being pulled to the top of the hill, it's not doing it on it's own. It's the things under the wheels that are pulling it. I'm kinda confused and I hope I didn't confuse you with my question. :) Please help!

2 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoWhere can I find this eyeshadow for less money?
I wanted to get some eyeshadow like this, but for less money. It doesn't have to be the same brand. But i would like cream eyeshadow that sparkles. I guess it'd be called metallic? And I need natural colors, like the Goldstone in this brand. http://www.bobbibrowncosmetics.com/templates/produ...
Thanks!

2 AnswersDancing1 decade agoAre you supposed to use your butt muscles for penche?
I'm trying to get my leg higher in penche and I know I can get it pretty high because I can pull my leg up but I can't hold it there. I know that you have to have a strong supporting leg and a strong stomach and back, but do you also lift your leg with your butt muscles? If not, what do you use? Thanks!
1 AnswerDancing1 decade agoHow to get a more flexible back for ballet?
I want to get a more flexible back for arabesque. Can you give me some exercises to help? I don't like doing backbends because my arms get tired really fast. But if that's something you think is good to do, you can still recommend it to me. Videos are good too. Thanks!
1 AnswerDancing1 decade agoYorkshire Terriers hair?
I want to get a yorkie, but I don't like that long hair that some of them have. I was wondering, do I have to get a certain type of yorkie that has short hair, or do I just have to get the hair cut when I feel it's getting too long? Thanks!
4 AnswersDogs1 decade agoDog vaccination prices at Petco and others?
I don't have a dog yet, but I need to know the approximate price of vaccinations for my dog. I know Petco gives them, so if anyone goes there for the vaccinations, can you tell me how much you pay per vaccination? And how much at other places if you don't go to Petco? Thanks!
5 AnswersDogs1 decade agoQuestions about prices and care of a small dog?
I want to get a yorkie-poo and one of the things my dad is requiring me to do before I get one is find out the approximate monthly costs of owning one. I'm going to be doing some research on my own other than just asking this question, but if you guys could try to help me out that would be great. I know the prices will be different in every state. I live in Colorado. Can everyone tell me the state you live in? Especially if you live in Colorado. Here are my questions:
- About how much food would a small dog eat in a month? What size bag should I get? What brand of food do you like the best? How much does that brand cost per bag?
- How often would I need to take my dog to the vet? About how much is one visit?
- I know that on some airlines you can take your dog, especially if it's really small. About how much does it take to bring your dog on the airplane? And about how much to take it to a hotel with you? If I leave it at a doggy babysitters place, about how much is it per day or week?
-About how much would you have to pay when you first get the dog? For it, its food, and all its supplies?
- I've never had a dog, so I don't know all that I need to buy for it. Can you tell me everything you buy for your dog?
- That's all I can think of now, but if there's some other question you think I should be asking, can you answer it for me?
Thanks everyone!
