  • New married Life, couple in need of new company?

My Husband and I Just recently got married this summer. We are very happy and are huge socialites, however as we have been hanging out with our single/dating friends we've noticed how our conversations are a lot different and our ways of thinking have changed as well between our friends. Not to say it's a bad thing but we feel like we are on a new level and it would be nice to hang out with other married couples. My husband and I are young and energetic and just looking for new friendships with other married couples to share advice and good times. Is there like a social network for married people? we just want to meet other married couples like ourselves for strictly platonic relationships only.

  • Settling disagreements?

My boyfriend and I have been together for almost four months. Of course like every relationship the beginning starts out perfect. We understood each other and talked a lot and we agreed on everything. We met in the summer time, when neither of us were working and I was on college break. Things began to get a little more than turbulent when I started school again, my days were busier and because I attend college out of state, we are currently in a long-distance relationship. He often complains that we don't have time to talk to one another. I have explained to him my tedious schedule, and sometimes I'm so sleepy, I have fallen asleep on the phone with him--only to wake up the next morning to him feeling neglected. He also has issues with my male friends that I'm very close to. I try to give him as much as I can of myself with keeping my priorities in check but it doesn't seem to be working. I don't want us to have an unhappy relationship. What should we do?

Hi, I'm a hospitality and business management major in college and I'm working on a project. I have to come up with the name of my own chain of hotels. I need something unique and catching..but not something ordinary like my last name. as many names as possible and motto's are a plus. 10 points to the best answer!

  • Was I wrong for this? Should I be the one to apologize?

Okay my husband and I have been together for four years and while we had very different childhoods, i've over the years introduced him to the lifestyle i'm used to. i was raised in a brady bunch/full house type setting all my life and he's lived a grown man's life since he can remember and it has caused him to become a kill-a-joy in many different situations. last year for christmas when our son and daughter (ages 3 & 5) wrote their first lists to santa i thought it'd be fun to play along and let them make cookies and my husband and i to dress up as mr & mrs.claus. i went out and bought the outfits to dress in and shared my idea with him only to be fussed out! he ranted for hours about how santa isn't real and that we need to keep in touch with reality and i'm stupid for making them into punks. my kids were so distraught about it. so when he went out to chicago for work and was due back christmas day, i had a small christmas party and invited a few people. i dressed as mrs.claus and my ex volunteered to be santa. my kids were happier than ever! my husband came back that night unexpected and acted a grinch! and six months later when our son wants to play little league, (by the way my husband thinks thats for squares too!) he won't let him be on the time since my same ex coaches the team with other dads! he wants me to apologize for signing him up! and he won't let me live down what happend last christmas it's been a year shouldn't he grow up?
