I have a Panasonic Vierra Plasma TV. I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows 7. I wasn't getting a picture on my TV when I hooked it up to my laptop so I went into settings to try to fix the problem. Well, I f@$ked it up and now every time I plug into the VGA outlet the screen on my laptop goes blank. The computer is still on and running. I don't know what I did wrong. Can anyone help me fix this?

I saw the commercial for Windows 7 where a father is using his laptop to send a video to his HDTV via wireless. The commercial makes it seem simple to do. I own a PC with Windows 7 and I own a Panasonic Viera 1080p HDTV. What do I need to do or buy in order to connect the two together? I was hoping to get rid of my cable provider. I watch very little TV and feel I can get all the info I need off of the internet. My only concern is that I will loose the quality of picture that I get from HD cable. Am I going to be disappointed by the lack of quality of receiving videos from the internet?

This is what I need to know. Please do not answer these questions if you do not have this type of software or have never tried it.

1. What kind of channels are similar to real cable channels?

Is there Comedy Central, Sports Center, or CNN?

2. How does it look?

Is it really HD 1080p or does it look like crap?

3. Does it stream quickly or do I need a highly powered computer and graphics card?

4. Is it worth the money?

5. Does it really replace cable or is it full of crap I won't watch?

I am just curious as to how many people wait to get home to wash their dog or do you just get it done at the park. How do feel about it? I know my truck gets full of mud when my dog goes to the park. If it was easier to do it at the park then would you just wash your dog there?

I want to buy a flat screen HDTV, but I can't afford it. My idea is to keep my internet plan and loose my cable service. I hate paying $110 a month for cable and internet. I can finance a TV by using the money I am saving from not paying for cable. I want to take advantage of the Christmas sales while I can. I want to know the following.

1. What is a great HDTV around 40"?

2. How do I use my internet connection on my laptop to connect to the TV?

3. Is there a cheap internet provider like AT&T or some other company? (No dish providers)

4. What shows on cable can I watch for free on the internet?

5. Can I view sports on the internet for free or do I have to buy a package deal? Is there a website that I can buy all my Boston teams like NESN?

6. Is Netflix worth it?

7. Where can I watch local news/CNN where it's like TV?

8. Is there anything else I am not thinking of that you can tell me?

Help me stick to the cable company and figure out a way to get around their entrapping bundle contracts.

Is it just me or is it that people get what they want from Yahoo Answers and then never award points for best answer. I know it is selfish to want the points but I also like knowing if I actually helped someone. Do you think it is rude? I am drunk at almost 1:00 AM. I have my first college course at 8:00 AM today. I missed my first 2 weeks of classes due to a wedding I had to attend. I am going to look like a loser. Why do I do this to myself? I know I have a drinking problem but I need perspective. Why?

I have adopted a 7 year old yellow lab that was hit one too many times. She wants to be good but falls back into old habits of growling when she is nervous and cringes when she thinks she will be hit. How do I teach her not to be defensive and enjoy life. I use positive reinforcement whenever I can but sometimes it just doesn't work. Help me help my dog.

She will smell where she was sitting while scratching and biting herself. She will pant heavily for a while and start all over again. What would cause this?

I know that it's not cool to do this but I have a very limited income and a very boring job. I just want to watch some movies while I am stuck at my dead end job. I can't figure out a way to sync my movies to my phone. There is something in Microsoft's software that doesn't allow me to sync and if I can either bypass it or use another program to put a movie on my phone. Is there a way to accomplish this task?
