3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agowhy religious women are badly treated than devoted men?
By metaphorically, if Christ is the 'husband (v.35)', then believers (in the churches, v.34) is the 'women' -- why church pastors must always be male, e.g. Catholics Pope, Orthodox Father?
By symbolically, the believer (a church) is a shame (means 'disrespectful') to speak (means 'intervene') in the church (means 'communion') when his church leader / pastor is teaching / preaching (see 'under obedience', 'saith the law', v.34) -- why do sisters-in-Christ *made* to keep silence (v.34) while brothers-in-Christ (church pastor) made to talk? This is NOT what Christ Jesus' teaches!
1 Corinthians 14:34-35 KJV
34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoChristian: how could (liberal or metaphor) the book of Revelation (New Testament) came after Genesis?
(Old Testament) since the Devil was thrown out of heaven and went into the serpent to deceive Eve to eat the forbidden fruit of the tree, and then God sent them out of the Garden of Eden for their disobedience...
source:
Genesis 3:1 onwards
1 The snake was more clever than all the wild animals the LORD God had made. He asked the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must never eat the fruit of any tree in the garden'?"
Revelation 12:7-9
7 Then a war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels had to fight a war with the serpent. The serpent and its angels fought.
8 But it was not strong enough, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven.
9 The huge serpent was thrown down. That ancient snake, named Devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world, was thrown down to earth. Its angels were thrown down with it.
Would be privilege to hear from any atheist for your constructive observation, thanks.
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agobook of Luke 13: A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard,?
and he came seeking fruit on it and found none. Then he said to the keeper of his vineyard, 'Look, for three years I have come seeking fruit on this fig tree and find none. Cut it down; why does it use up the ground?' But he answered and said to him, 'Sir, let it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it. And if it bears fruit, well. But if not, after that you can cut it down.'
1. How sure that the fig tree will grow fruit after being fertilized?
2. If "vineyard" is "the harvest" and "man" is "Jesus", who is "a fig tree"?
3. What kind of fruit Jesus is looking for?
4. The fig tree has lots of leaves and bears fruit but why Jesus still cut it down?
5. What are other thing(s) that the keeper needs to keep the fig tree in good shape?
Hints: lifestyle; walk with G-d; obedience

10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoChristian, Why so wrong with this prayer to receive salvation?
Heavenly Father,
I confess that I am a sinner, and I am sorry.
I need a Savior because the punishment for sin is death.
I know I cannot save myself by being good enough to earn entrance into Your heaven.
I believe by faith that Jesus died on the cross as punishment for my sins.
I believe He rose from the grave.
I ask You to forgive my sins and send Your Holy Spirit into my heart.
I desire to turn from my sins, and ask the Holy Spirit to lead me to repentance.
I trust Jesus as my Savior and receive Him as my Lord.
I give control of my life to Jesus to lead me to live a life pleasing to You.
Thank you for sending Jesus to save me.
Amen.

1 AnswerReligion & Spirituality9 years agoin what situation that the Holy Scripture is tampered...?
Rom 16:24 is found in KJV, NKJV and NASB but not in ESV.
If the Holy Bible is written by men who claimed to be inspired by God, then
1. why is there *someone* who hold the right to make changes without God's approval?
2. how does a believer know which bible version (not translation) is considered absolute true (i.e. based on its source of Hebrew interpretation)?
ok, discuss

if perfection were through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need was there that another priest should rise according to the order of Melchizedek, and not be called according to the order of Aaron?
