What are multis and internal rhymes in hip hop?

I've watched a couple videos and read a couple forums and think I might understand it, but am not sure. Below I posted a Pac verse to see if I understand correctly.

"Went to the store the other. Hot outside. Really hot."

Or would these be considered sentence fragments?

I remember when Simba returned that the savannah was pretty much devastated, like somehow Scar's rule ruined the environment. My question is how did Scar ruin the environment?

  • Medieval West African history question?

So, I read somewhere that the kingdoms of Mali and later Songhai had seafaring vessels. What I read claimed that Songhai had a navy in fact. It's part of the story of it's founding ruler Sunni Ali, but when I look into it, I find nothing. There's no literature on the details of it, there's no archaeological finds of the remains of this navy or these ships, so I ask, did they actually have seafaring vessels and an actual navy or is it all myth and misinformation?

  • Thinking about learning how to play and buying a cajon drum?

I'm thinking about getting one, is a cheap $40 one good to start off with?

Also, I'm like 200lbs, would this not be a good instrument for me since you have to sit on it to play?

  • Why did many European artists depict Moors as black people?

I've heard that they were and I've heard that they weren't I've also heard that they were "racially" diverse. I don't know. But I'm doing a series of drawings a historical events, people, etc and want to be as fairly accurate as possible. The Moors were requested, but I know next to nothing about that subject. I know they're apparently from North Africa, but I also know that N. Africans had black slaves, but I also read that there's 7000 y/o rock paintings of black people in Algeria, so apparently black Africans were indigenous to the region. I don't know.

  • Was it every a tactic by armies to absorb enemy armies?

Like, say, an army fights another, one side is clearly going to win, but instead of demolishing the loser, the winning army allows them the opportunity to join their ranks or to serve as auxiliary.

  • Why is there so much hatred toward blacks in North Africa and Middle Eastern countries, Israel included?

I know the whole thing about the first caller to prayer being a black man in Islam and all that, and that the Quran itself isn't racist, but just reading news articles and watching the coverage it's plain to see there's huge racial prejudice towards blacks in these places with black immigrants. Hell, in Israel Ethiopian woman were injected with Depo Provera, being told it was inoculations.

Though, it's not like the US is innocent when it comes to these sorts of matters. But I'm curious, what's with the hatred, these countries don't even have the tumultuous racial history with blacks as the US has.

  • Question about racial categorization?

I know the line of, "There's only one race," but so few people actually think that way. Even science tends to break people down into groups of Caucasian, Mongoloid, etc.

My question is, why is the Caucasian race considered so diverse? Spanning all of Europe to the horn of Africa and India (except of Southern Indians) encompassing the vast majority of the different people's living there, but other races have to fit a very limited set of features?

  • History question about Nubians?

What did they build on their land other than those small pyramids?

I just found out about them and when I look for their architecture all I find are pictures of these pyramids and some monument the Egyptians build on their land after they defeated them.

Also, any other info would be cool.

  • Good Kid M.A.A.D. City vs Black Trash?

I'm sure this has been asked somewhere before, but I'm just curious, which (without it being a popularity contest) do you guys think is a better concept album?

I just listened to Black Trash by Sticky Fingaz for the first time in a few years and it got me wondering.

If you haven't heard both please don't answer.

  • How will Eminem be remembered, if at all?

Culture overall is becoming less homophobic and will probably continue in this vein, so I'm wondering will Eminem be dismissed by future generations the way we dismiss talented performers who performed primarily in blackface?

Also, I know a lot of hip hop has homophobic elements to it, but Eminem really emphasized this for shock value, and it became synonymous with him whereas other rappers simply used homophobic lines fairly sparsely to assert their masculinity.

  • Picking up accents as an adult?

Some Americans as adults move to places like England or other European countries and seem to pick up the accents, but adults don't seem to pick up the local accents if they move to places like Mexico, what's up with that?

British accents tend be the ones they pick up most.

    Why is that?

  • Why does there seem to be so little archaeological study of Sub-Saharan Africa?

I try to find out information on the topic for a story I'm doing, it's a tale that spans the globe during antiquity. It's fantasy, but I try to make it feel as realistic as possible. Anyway the only thing I can usually find on the topic is loony Afrocentrist theories.

There seems to be some ruins to study, but little work seems to be done there. Just wondering, and any info on bce SSA in terms of cities etc would be helpful.

Also, I know there's little writing in SSA, but we seem to have a much clearer picture of what was going on with early anatomical humans in the stoneage than Africa a few thousand years ago.

  • Question about weight loss and activity level?

So, I'm trying to use online calorie calculators to determine how many calories I should intake daily. The sites ask whether you're Sedentary, Lightly Active, Moderately Active or Very Active, I don't know which to categorize myself as.

I work retail, about four to 5 days a week, usually walking around the store, going up and down ladders most days and unloading a truck one day a week.

I usually walk about 3-4 miles most at least 5 days a week in an hour.

At home I don't do much because I'm usually drawing, although I do use my treadmil about a half an hour like 3 days a week.

So what would I be categorized as, Sedentary, Lightly or Moderately?
