  • How to respond when someone makes really bad fan art of you?

I am conducting an experiment on an art website that involves watching every user on the website and I am now watching over 160000 users, and some of these users have sent me fan art of me that is incredibly bad (of the artistic level of a four year old). How do I respond to this?

  • What is the name for the raw feeling on your hands from lifting heavy stuff?

I mean, is there a special name for it? And not just callused, the actual feeling of red raw hands from lifting heavy stuff... Is there a special word for it? In any language?

Kind of like how "Petrichor" is the smell of rain on dry earth?

I am trying to come up with a name for a song and need a one word way to describe this feeling.

  • Fix DC interference with guitar pedals?

The DC adapter for my pedal board recently died on me for no apparent reason. I found that an adapter for an old BT home hub was an exact match except for the polarity so I cut the cable and connected them the other way round and it works fine, but when I use the pedals I get a relay high screeching sound. I know its the adapter because I tried with my friends BOSS PSA (All the pedals in my board are BOSS) adapter and got no interference. How could I fix this?

  • Should I overclock my laptop, and how?

I have a TOSHIBA Equium P300-16t Running Ubuntu 11.04. According to the SM BIOS (Via dmidecode) The processors maximum speed is 4GHz but its only at 1.67GHz

Would it be worth-while to over-clock it to even just 2GHz. And how would I go about doing this I assume I would need to upgrade the BIOS or something because I haven't seen any options for over-clocking.
