I'm 32 and I've NEVER had a license or permit in any state (I had a fear of driving after I was involved in an accident when I was younger but I'm over it now) and I'd REALLY like to start driving. Can I use my temporary (paper) ID to apply for a permit? The DPS issued it so shouldn't it be in their system? Thanks!

My doctor lowered my dose of prednisone from 30mg/day (I took that amount for a full month), to 2.5mg/day. Is it possible to feel sick from this? I've been really ill since the change.

Horrible headache, my face feels like it's on fire, nose bleeds, bad palpitations, horrible acid reflux, pain in every single joint and muscle in my body, weird horribly itchy spots all over and I keep falling asleep while sitting up.

I also have a cold and I'm pretty sure the symptoms above aren't being caused by a common cold.

I went to the ER yesterday for severe back and shoulder pain after moving the wrong way. The doctor ordered Morphine and Phenergan injections. The nurse injected the morphine into my left hip and the phenergan into my right hip. As soon as she pushed the needle into my right hip, I got a really intense pain in my hip that radiated down to my right knee and my kneecap felt like it was going to explode. Now, I still have pain in my right hip when I move my leg and I'm worried that she did something wrong. Should I be worried? Is it possible that she damaged a nerve? Thanks!

My mother and I both have Chihuahua's. She has a female and I have a male. He's always been the sweeter of the two. He's always been very good with my kids and very tolerant of most things. My moms female however, barks and growls often and doesn't seem to be as mild mannered as my male. Over the past few days, my dog seems to be displaying signs of aggression towards people. My 4 year old daughter was talking to me and pointing at something and he randomly nipped at her hand. He didn't get close enough, thank God, and he didn't growl or bark but it was obviously an aggressive gesture. He used to always run up to her and lick her all over and play with her. Just last night, he growled at me for scratching my own back. He always sleeps with me and has NEVER behaved this way before. This is really random. He hasn't been neutered yet but will be very soon. He's just over a year old.

Yesterday, I noticed intense itching between my middle finger and my ring finger. By last night, my knuckle and ring finger were getting red and swollen. This morning, I woke up to severe itching, swelling and pain in that area and when I flex those fingers or make a fist, I can feel something tightening in my ring finger. I'm a graphic designer so obviously, pain in my right hand is not good. Does anyone know what this might be? Could it be a bug bite? I don't think so just because of the size of the swelling but, it can't hurt to ask.

Since they wouldn't need to be prescription, do I still need an examination of any kind to get them? And where would be the best place to order them online?

Okay, my 4 year old daughter has never lived around a beach and she's never been exposed to large amounts of water but she appears to be incredibly afraid of water. Actually, the weird thing is, it isn't JUST water. It's any liquid. If I pour her a drink and spill a tiny amount, she runs away screaming "You spilled it! It's growing! It's gonna fill the room!". I feel so bad because I don't know what to do. Bath time is a nightmare. She doesn't like us to put more than maybe an inch of water in the tub. It's like she's been through something traumatic like a flood or something but she never has. Anyone have any ideas? I don't know what to do anymore.

Okay, my sister and I never really got along. She always been a bit on the crazy side but recently she did something that I just can't for the life of me, understand. She told me that she was going to a female friends house to babysit for her. The crazy part is.......the woman that she's babysitting for, is going out somewhere with her (my sisters) boyfriend. Sorry if it's a little confusing but, once you get it, you'll understand why it's so crazy. Why would she do that? She supposedly loves her boyfriend so why would she let him go out to "hang out" with another woman (that is a mutual friend) while she babysits? AHH! I don't get it. >_<

If so, which one? And what about the accent makes it hard to understand? I can understand most accents but the one I have some issues with is Australian. But, only if it's a really REALLY thick accent.

Okay, my lips were really dry one day and I didn't have any chapstick. I kinda like, pulled the skin off and it hurt and bled but I can't stop doing it now. My bottom lip is really sore and hurts when I eat anything salty lol

Okay, I've always used tampons when I had my period but I've never used the tampons without an applicator. My question is, wouldn't it be kinda hard/gross to push the tampon in there when you're in the middle of your period? Seems a little unhygienic to me =/

I'm not very good with the tech aspect of my pc. I wanted to install a game last night that has 3 discs. I didn't have a problem with the 1st disc but when it asked me to put the next one in, it froze up. It actually could be a problem with the setup because when I click "ok" or "browse", it freezes and won't do anything. The drive appears to be recognizing/reading the disc. I tried another game with multiple discs and it did the same thing. Anyone know what I can do to get the installation to finish? Is it my dvd drive or the setup of the games? I'm soooo confused lol
