Passing a 1mm kidney stone?
I just left the ER after having horrible pain this morning. My doctor told me that I have a 1mm kidney stone that passed from my kidney to my bladder. I was given 2 pain med prescriptions and a nausea med. How much will it hurt to pass? And how long will It take? I was told that 1mm was very small.

I started smoking cigarettes back in April 2015. For about a month I only smoked one or two a day. The next month it went up to 3, and now i'm up to about 5-7 a day. I'm using the NicoDerm patches (step 2) and Gum (2mg) starting tommorow. Will it be easier for me to quit since I haven't been smoking for a long time?
