So i am a DJ and i had a party the other day which i had to order a new light for. After paying 60$ on amazon plus 10.99 for overnight shipping, it came in with a broken knob. This meant i could not even adjust the speeds. I use the light daily so i do not want to send it back, so i emailed amazon hoping to receive a refund and get a second light without being out any money. I got an "advance refund", that means i have to send the item back, but they sent a refund to my account regardless even though they didn't get the item back. I want to know, does anyone think that they will eventually check it out and realize i didn't send the light back to them? Or will they not realize? I just paid 80$ for amazon prime so i do not want to get my account terminated within the first month of prime. Thank you!

I have an iPhone 5 with a slight rattle when tapped or shaken. I checked to see if I heard a rattle when my phone vibrated and it doesn't so I don't think it's the motor of the vibrator. It is either the auto focus on the camera rattling or the vibrate motor. It only rattles when rapped shaken, or shifted quickly. The reason I ask is because I was told that the vibration motor is not replaceable under warranty and the auto focus is replaceable under warranty. Please help me out. If you ask a separate question to get a diagnosis please include IF NOT and IF SO so if my phone does do or does not do what you asked I can let you know of you are the best answer under comments. First off, i am not suing apple, i was just denied a replacement phone/part exchange because even though i have a rattling in my iPhone 5 due to a 'defective' auto focus hardware part, the auto focus does WORK. However, i did my research and read the legit apple warranty info, and didn't see ANYWHERE in the 'Warranty does not cover' section that the part that is defective must be effecting the operation of the device. Here's that section: "

This Warranty does not apply: (a) to consumable parts, such as batteries or protective coatings that are designed to diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (b) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and broken plastic on ports; (c) to damage caused by use with another product; (d) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire, earthquake or other external cause; (e) to damage caused by operating the Apple Product outside Apple’s published guidelines; (f) to damage caused by service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by anyone who is not a representative of Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider (“AASP”); (g) to an Apple Product that has been modified to alter functionality or capability without the written permission of Apple; (h) to defects caused by normal wear and tear or otherwise due to the normal aging of the Apple Product, or (i) if any serial number has been removed or defaced from the Apple Product."

In the 'WARRANTY DOES COVER' section i however DID find that warranty covers ANY part defects by original manufacturer. Here is that section:

"Apple Inc. of One Infinite Loop, Cupertino, California, U.S.A. 95014 (“Apple”) warrants the Apple-branded iPhone, iPad or iPod hardware product and accessories contained in the original packaging (“Apple Product”) against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with Apple's published guidelines for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original retail purchase by the end-user purchaser ("Warranty Period"). Apple’s published guidelines include but are not limited to information contained in technical specifications, user manuals and service communications."

Based on the legal info is denying me a replacement breaking the law (of apple at least) ? I am only going to show the legal info to the apple store so they can see for themselves that they have to replace my phone. So i noticed a rattle in my iphone 5. It is a replacement as my last iphone 5 had a defect i had replaced under warranty. This rattle is faint but noticeable ESPECIALLY seeing i'm a student in high school and when i walk around and its in my pocket it hear it rattle, VERY VERY quietly since its in my pocket. I looked it up on forums and called in etc. Forums said it is the cameras auto focus, it rattles on very few phones but it does. When i called apple the first time the man said to go to apple its replaceable under warranty. So today i went to apple, about a half hour from my house in the mall, very large mall in providence RI and takes about another 30 minutes to climb up the parking garage floors in the car to get to the same level of the apple store, and to walk in. After all this i got in and had a girl, young about 20-25 with dyed BRIGHT blue hair, very unprofessional especially for apple. (I am a boy and dye my hair but do believe crazy colors and working dont go together). Basically she said its the VIBRATING MOTOR and its normal, but she would go in the back and open the phone up and make sure its fine in there. She came out after 20 minutes or more and said the phone is rattling still and it is the motor but it is TECHNICALLY up to code so i have to keep it. TECHNICALLY really made me mad. She could have very easily replaced the phone, and then threw it in a box to apple no questions asked seeing it does rattle. When i got almost home, i was turning my volume up and noticed....... my VOLUME ROCKERS WERE LOOSE and moving around if i tried to move them! They were tight before, and she didn't tighten the screws all the way i bet!

So i called apple and told them about her and the man said he is noting in my account that the girl was very unenthusiastic and got frustrated (i could tell by her eyes even though she was still smiling, way too big to be a real smile) and didnt put the phone back together properly. He said to go to the store tomorrow and to talk to the genius bar and tell them the case number so i can almost for sure get the replacement, seeing it was confirmed under warranty.

Then, i asked to be transferred to a senior ad visor, because he asked and i wanted a second opinion and he said the same exact thing. Then.. he put me on hold and 5 minutes later got on saying hes sorry but he thought wrong theres a minor issue in very few iphones, like i read online that its the AUTO FOCUS IN THE FREAKING CAMERA!!!!!! I was so mad that in the beginning, an ameture on a forum was right! So the apple guy said that it TECHNICALLY (I hate that word) isnt causing any issues to the functions of the phone so it is not required to replace it. He said my best bet is to talk to a manager and tell them the case # and to let them know about the rockers (i really dont want to have to have my phone worked on again at that store).

My question is, if i go in tomorrow what should i say ? Should i really ask for a manager? Should i be nice or angry or both or worried to get a replacement? And one more thing thats really important DO THEY LOOK AT YOUR CASES/NOTES FROM CALLING APPLE WHEN THEY GET YOUR SERIAL? If not i will not tell him about the camera thing and just tell him a senior adviser told me that it is replaceable if the vibrate is rattling. I am NOT lying seeing he did say that, even at first he still did. I just really want these problems to be gone, regardless of if the rattle is causing performance issues or not i still dont like having a 650 $ phone that does something it shouldnt.

Summary of my question i guess but please answer the others above! : WHAT SHOULD I DO BASED ON MOOD/STORY/TALKING/ETC TO HAVE THE BEST CHANCE OF GETTING A REPLACEMENT IPHONE. ?

I have an iphone 5 on t-mobile and installed iOS 7 GM on it, I found a site where I pay 5$ and they register my udid with another persons dev account so I did it what I am wondering is if I go to apple this Saturday to get my iphone replaced under warranty will they not do it because I have ios 7? I am thinking that if they check my udid number they will see a dev account listed under my phone. I think depending on the employee they will ask for that email and pass to verify it is my account but seeing apple replaced my iphone last month without even looking at it really I don't think they would care, it only voided my warranty before because the betas weren't stable but the GM is so idk. Please give me an answer! Thank you!

Hey guys. I have ios 7 beta 6 right now and love it so much. However there are a few bugs in it still but not many at all. My question is that when the GM official release for all compatible devices is released will it be just like iOS 7 beta 6 or completely bug free ? Because really the betas were for testing so I am guessing that the new release will be released with little bugs. Because developers are to help apple fix the bugs. It's hard to explain but what in wondering is if the official ios 7 will be completely "New" compared to ios 7 BETA 6 or if it will BE ios 7 beta 6

I have an iPhone 5 and switched over from the galaxy s4, and had the iPhone 4S prior to that. As many iphone users would know I was Syked to have my emoji keyboard with ios emoji back! However I am missing the keyboard choices I had with my galaxy. My question is , are there any apps paid or free that add an extra keyboard to your iphone, like emoji keyboard apps. Because seeing there are emoji apps enabling that keyboard there should be an app allowing a new keyboard. I heard that seeing apple has to approve of all apps that they will not allow a new keyboard seeing it is too customizable but I don't really know. Please help and thanks for any answers

So i traded my s4 for an iphone 5 yesterday, and love it so far. I didnt pay my s4 off until today and it is all set, but when i called t-mobile they said the iphone is financed, so the guy could basically stop paying it and the phone will be blacklisted. He seemed pretty trustworthy and his son is a new friend of mine. I noticed something odd with the earpiece so i brought it to apple today and got a brand new iphone 5. My question is, if he stopped paying the iphone bill, and it was blacklisted, will that lead to me; seeing the iphone i have now is a new serial and all that? Please give reasons why too! Thanks!

I live in WARWICK RI 02889 And this package went a state in the opposite direction. The expected delivery date is tomorrow and I bought expedited so could it be that USPS shipped it to NJ from NY to put it on an airplane? Please get back to me , JOHNNY

So my phone didn't show that there was water damage on the back but when I looked at the sticker for water damage I saw a red line which is normal now that I know but stupidly I licked my thumb to try to get it off. So I peeled it off. Do you think if I buy more stickers on eBay and put another one on my phone and I send it back to Samsung they will think my phone is just defective. Cause if any water got in it its very little. I only want a new phone cause my red led that shows when its charging doesn't work and I want a white one. What do you think? And also give me ways to make the water signs go away so I can get a new phone. Thank you !

My dad bought me a galaxy s4 in may and it is july now and i got a new screen protector put on at zagg earlier. It wasnt on correctly so i took it off and reapplied, which took a good ammount of windex which wasnt working so i used a little bit of water on the protector itself and some got on the screen. In between applications i checked to make sure the touch was working of course, and then randomly the touch wasnt working. I got a small envelope edge to get the dirt out of the side crease where the screen is and then (this is when the phone is turning on again) the LED indicator showed a half green half blue shade. I know it is water i have my phone without the battery connected in rice, also with a WET CELLUAR EMERGENCY KIT i bought from radioshack on sale last year. Please tell me if it should work or not i am really scared and need answers quick.

So my girlfriend and i were having sex in my pool and i usually use a condom but this time was almost impossible. I usually pull out regardless, and i felt the urge so i went in one last time and felt a squirt and then when i pulled out quickly i was in the process of coming. So I had an iphone, and have an iPad now and a galaxy s4. I love Google play better than Apple because it's one app and in the app it splits into music apps etc. The Apple way Is making an app store and an iTunes app. I think for me android has more apps than Apple cause I'm different with apps. I only wish I had vine ): so what is better for you? (Don't criticize my question or comment about how much you love or hate iPhones/androids. You have an opinion but not a rude one.) Thank you!

I really need help. So yesterday I was lifting a picnic table no problem or pain. A few weeks ago I punched something hurting my right hand index finger knuckle. Now every time I pull a door too hard or open a jar I get a sharp pain in the veins around my knuckle. Like ALOT of pain. Please help me. Thank you :)

Okay so my dad bought me the galaxy s4 on T-Mobile and so far I love it. Online many people are saying sprint is way better. When for me I believe that 60 a month for unlimited everything is great. Yes I understand it slows down after 2.5 gigs but it is still truly unlimited. Sprint is much more money and their service sucks. I have called T-Mobile a few times since I got this phone and the customer service Is amazing and take pride in their work. I heard sprint just tries to sell you another phone. I had straight talk before on att and I hated the customer service. They even shut my internet off cause I "used too much" when I was paying for unlimited. Let me know! Thank you (:

Okay so my dad bought me the galaxy s4 yesterday and I was on straight talk before. Now I'm on t mobile and have 2.5gb of 4g and lte and after that I have unlimited at 2g speed. Cox screwed up with our Wi-Fi again so I know next month I will be fine. I use my phone for Facebook Twitter gmail and hanging with friends usually and maybe YouTube or downloading songs occasionally. How well the 2g speed affect me? Will it show 2g or edge on my phone or still 4g? THANK YOU!

I really need help. My beats I just bought on Craigslist and the left side where the wire goes In only work in certain positions where the cord is loose. I am mostly sure they are real. I think the headphone jack is broken or something cause when I touch it the songs is staticky. I used the headphones in my computer iPhone and iPad so it's not the device. I just got the iPad mini for Christmas and I'm loving it because its so light and its super fast. The design is slick and it has a smooth retina display screen. The battery life if even better then my kindles and it can be used for hours on end. I am wondering how different the iPad 3 is form it. Please give me specifics. Thank you

so I dyed my hair yesterday with revlon and today at walmart I saw an olive oil relaxer and thought id try it. Now my hairs dead and I cant even comb through it. please help I don't want fried hair. I want LEAST TIME POSSIBLE no waiting for a month. Thank you.
