so me and my boyfriend have been together for a few months now and trust each other a lot. we're in college so partying is a big thing. im not a huge partyer but i do like going out with my friends everyone once and a while. my boyfriend has expressed concern over this, just because he doesnt really like drinking or the whole frat party atmosphere, but he trusts me and understands its something that happens in college.

last night i went out with my friends to a frat party and a bunch of different guys were asking me to dance. obviously i said no and then they left me alone. but there were a few guys who were extremely drunk and rude and would just come up behind me and start dancing with me. as soon as they did this i would push them away and then walk to another place to dance.

should i tell my boyfriend about this? im just afraid he would be mad at me because this is literally the reason he doesnt like frat parties. he would never ask me not to go out anymore but i know if i did again he would always be nervous and upset.

The Common App essay topic I chose was to write about "a story so central to me I wouldn't be me without it," so I wrote about how my family has influenced me. But for one of my college's supplement essays, they tell me to write about the environment in which I was raised, such as my family, home, neighborhood, or community. What should I write about then? Should I completely change my Common App essay, and then use my family essay for the supplement?

I bought tickets from ticketmaster for a concert, and I'm not sure if I'm going to be able to attend. I bought the insurance but that requires you to file a claim and have proof of why you can't attend, and I wouldn't be able to go because of a family party. So I was thinking of selling the tickets on ebay! If I am going to do this, would I just be able to "ship" the tickets to the buyer by just hitting transfer tickets on ticketmaster? It's an option that lets you email the tickets to the people that you bought them for. I've never sold tickets before or anything for that matter on ebay, so I'm not exactly sure how the policy works. Would I have to print out the tickets and ship that to the buyer, or would just emailing it to them suffice?

since saturday, my phone hasnt been working unless ive been connected to wifi. at home i have wifi so its not really a huge issue, just an inconvenience. i can still text and call, but imessage doesnt work, and neither does safari or twitter or facebook or anything that requires internet. when im not connected to wifi, instead of having the wifi signal it says LTE. any idea what could be wrong? thanks!

For a little over a week I've been running a mile every day except for two days, and then I can't again tomorrow. I weigh 130 pounds, I'm 17 and I'm 5'4". I'm definitely not overweight but not working out has caught up to me and I really want to tone my thighs and stomach. I've started out with just running a mile in 10 minutes 45 seconds to build up my endurance and then starting next week I'll probably be able to do two miles. Do you think if I continue running every day like this, adding more miles as I get better at it will help make me more toned? Thanks!

Hi! I'm on lo lo estren fe, and I was wondering if it was okay to start my new pack a day early. I usually start the new pack on sunday night but I want to take it tonight so I stop getting my period on fridays. Is anything going to happen to me if i start the new pack a day early? Thanks!

I'm a junior in high school and I don't play a sport and I'm not embarrassed by that, I'm embarrassed by how out of shape I am. Right now I only have access to a treadmill, but in about a month I'll be able to go to the gym to work out. I'm starting out by running a mile (I've only started this week and from sunday to sunday will have ran three miles) I know this isn't very much but it's a lot for me. Do you have any reccomendations for how to pace myself? Also, I'm looking to lose a few pounds in the process, so any advice on exercises that would help with that would be great. Thanks!

im 16 years old, im about 5'4" and around 130 pounds. im considered healthy but i wouldnt mind being 120, and for the most part im comfortable with my body.

however, recently i realized i have something i found out was nicknamed a hip dip, and i was just wondering if there were any exercises i could do to get rid of it? if you dont know what a hip dip is, this pretty much shows what it is

it basically just makes your love handles look a lot larger than they really are.

my mom said she doesnt want to take me to a tattoo shop lol i know its bad to get it done with a gun instead of a needle but ive gotten my ears pierced there and have had no problems at all an neither has anyone with my family. i was just wondering if it would be really that bad to get it done there!

yesterday i was in the city and i went to central park, and sat down on the ledge of the fountain there. i completely forgot my phone was in my back pocket, so when i sat down the phone slid into the fountain. thankfully it wasnt in for too long but it was around ten seconds completely submerged.

i let my phone sit in rice for the rest of the day and it wasn't working at all, but when i woke up everything seemed fine, except for imessage. is there any way to get imessage to start working again? should i bring it to a verizon store to see if they can do anything about it?

I'm 16 years old and I got a headache around 3 yesterday. I'm supposed to be getting my period soon so I figured it had something to do with that and just took a midol but it didn't go away, and the pain didn't lessen. I woke up today and it still hurt, so I didn't go to school and took some excedrin migraine. Usually when I'm PMSing I just get cramps, but I have barely had cramps, so I'm beginning to worry it's not related to my period. I still have it and I was wondering if you had any methods to get rid of it, or if you have any ideas about what could be causing it? Or if it's something serious, too.

okay in an essay im writing about fahrenheit 451 im having a little trouble with the quotes

if im quoting a long quote that goes from one paragraph to another, but im not using any ellipses, would i do it like

"xxxxxxxxxxx(end of first paragraph)

*indent*xxxxxxxxx"(1).

or would there be no space and no indent, and just continue on in the same paragraph?

and my next question is when im writing a quote within a quote, and the quote ends at the persons sentence like someone's speaking, how do i quote that?

is it like "'Hi my name is Montag'"(1). or is it like "'Hi my name is Montag.'"(1).

annnd finally when the quote ends at the end of a sentence, do i do it like

"His name was Montag."(1). or "His name was Montag"(1).

I'm turning 16 in October, and I just got a job at Coldstone. A new ice cream store is opening in my town, and I would rather work there than at Coldstone because Coldstone seems like its extremely hard to work there. I'm still being trained at Coldstone, and I'm going in again on Sunday. I have to work until the closing, which is at 10:30, and then I have to clean for an hour, and it really just is a lot. It's also my first job and it seems very overwhelming there, because there is just so much to remember. I think that the frozen yogurt place would be a much easier and more flexible job for me.

So the question is, how do I quit my job at Coldstone? I have no idea how I would even phrase why I want to quit, or when I would tell my manager. Should I call him, or should I tell him when I go in on Sunday, when I first go in or at the end? Any ideas?

My boyfriend and I hung out today because we couldn't yesterday for Valentine's Day. Well, everything was going amazing, until I had to leave. I was saying the usual, "Bye, I love you!" and he said, "I love you more!" And whenever he says that, I always say, "No, I love you more!" It's just like a reflex, and usually he just laughs or continues to argue with me about him loving me more. (corny, i know) But today, he said, "I know you love me more, but I still love you." And he was being serious. I know I kind of had it coming eventually, but it still hurt me to hear him say it.

So has this ever happened to you? Did it hurt you when it happened?

Okay, well my boyfriend and I have been dating for 8 months. We really love each other, but I feel like he hasn't been putting a lot of effort into our relationship and it's all me. When we hang out together everything's fine, but sometimes he says that he wants to do something with all of our friends that night along with being with me, and it hurts me a little because I don't get to see him a lot.

In school I'm always the one going out of my way to see him, and even if I'm going to be late for class I always walk with him and I always ask for extra kisses before he leaves. He gets annoyed with me when I don't want him to leave. Like class starts at 8:08 and we start saying goodbye at 8:03, but we're right next to his class and mine is on the other side of the school and I'm always on time, and he's always saying he's going to be late. It just hurts me because I want him to want to stay with me and be the one asking ME to stay later, but he just gets annoyed with me and tells me to stop.

He doesn't compliment me as much as he used to. I'm not saying I need to be constantly told nice things about me, but it's nice to know what he thinks about me.

We used to text all the time, but now we don't text at all unless we're making plans. I only get to see him a little in school because we don't have any classes, and when we hang out over the weekend. I like talking to him, even if we're not having a good and interesting conversation. He used to text me everyday, then about every other day, then every few days, then once a week, and now he never does except to make plans.

Am I over reacting? Is he acting like that in school because he really just wants to get to class? And should I say something to him about texting me? I don't want him to be constantly texting me, but a text every other day would be nice.
