I like Louie and Curb your enthusiasm

So, I'm from New Mexico. I go to college in Massachusetts. It's snowing like hell here, and all I can think about is home. That doesn't do me any good though, cause I can't go home until March. I need to get over it. It's not that I can't handle being away from my parents, it's just the weather. It's not my first winter here, but that doesn't make it any easier. I'm already taking vitamins, I have a sub lamp, I keep my window open at all hours for maximum sun exposure. what else can I do?

I like:

supernatural type shows like charmed, supernatural, buffy, once upon a time,and angel,

action-packed shows like breaking bad, orange is the new black, and weeds,

and dramas like the l word, the fosters, Gilmore girls, and parenthood.

I ve seen everything of each of those.

Fantasy. No game of thrones, no science fictions--things like the all souls trilogy. I love stuff with witches.

And it doesn't cover my head all the way. Is it because my head is too big for the hood? Or are the hoods not actually meant to be warn.

I saw it in a book. The example cited is that over the edge movie with matt Dillon.

I work as an animal rights activist, and I am constantly ordering buttons online (300ish dollars a year)--would it be worthwhile to buy a button maker? Do they even work?

I love comedies á la Jay and Silent Bob, Harold and Kumar, The Hangover, also love Brat Pack movies and Tarantino Movies.

I grew up a liberal in a conservative place. Then I went to one of the most liberal colleges in the country and I think I'm becoming more conservative. When I hear someone talking about how no matter what and no matter where blacks people are always treated as second class citizens, basically that the poorest white dude has it better than Obama, I roll my eyes, and if I argue, I am shut up. I get corrected for saying "yes'm" to my female professors. It's driving me crazy. Is it because I'd never been around this much liberal? Am I just that much I a contrarian?

So there's this pizza joint, and they have a vegan pizza listed on their set menu. This woman who works there told me that the crust of this pizza contains "a bit of Parmesan". Isn't it illegal to say something's vegan If it's not?

To other humans, to animals, to the planet? Why do we exist if all we do is cause suffering, and suffer?

Vegans: why did you make the switch?

So I am in college, and my best friend is also in college but she is a girl. Anyway, she told me about how her professor is being really weird and manipulative. He sends her ten emails a day which have nothing to do with the class--journalism. She worked for his publication over the summer, and even though the official internship was for five weeks, she stayed an extra ten because she felt like he would get mad at her if she took her time off. On her day off, she was hanging out with me and the guy thought I was her boyfriend, and apparently he got mad at her and called her a *****, saying she should be thinking about journalism and not boys. She wants to drop his class, but feels guilty about it. I told her to report this creep. (he also told her he hates gay students and black students). She begged me not to say anything until she has had time to think things over. I want to give her that time, but at the same time I feel like she's caught in it and ultimately she wont make the right decision. I'm not just thinking about her here--I'm thinking about future girls he might pull this crap on. Would I be a dick to report him?

I want people's opinions. My friend and I are both avid knife collectors, but are morally opposed to guns, A third friend says we are hippocrates. the idea is, with a knife at least whoever/whatever has a fighting chance. Like what would be more impressive, a guy shooting a bear with a gun from a hundred yards away, or a guy taking it down with a kinife?

Being completely alone for three weeks, or being with people literally every second for three weeks?

She tells me she has no problem with me and my friends think I'm nuts, but i just feel in my guts that she doesn't like me. She is cold to me even though she is generally a warm person, and she blocked me on twitter. Idk.
