I am a Catholic and there are a lot of Christian sects in our country. I attended a mass once of another Christian Sect and I was so shocked. I am from the Catholic sect and our Sunday mass is far different from theirs. The priest said that people who goes to the mall on Sundays are sinners. And girls who wear short skirts and sleeveless blouses are sinners because they promote sexual pleasure. And what happens to sinners? They burn in HELL. What they need is salvation.

Since I am from a different sect (Catholic) and they want me to accept this teaching, they told me to repent so I won't go in Hell. I was to be "baptized" to be cleansed. That's getting me in front and be poured/bathed with "sacred" water. I left and told them that I confess my sins and continue to pray. That's how I ask for forgiveness and it doesn't have to be like that. They insisted. I politely excused myself so I could leave and they all looked at me, disappointed. My friend caught up with me and said, "Hell is real. It's proven."

I asked her, "Do you think I'm going to hell, then?" She didn't speak for a while. "You don't have to join our church but you have to be cleansed."

"In my church, we confess and pray and turn away from sins by stop committing them." I said.

She looked at me disapprovingly. She apologized for bringing me to her church. And we never talked ever since.

It is a chinese movie, dubbed in english, that features two shaolin kids. One is named Tommy and he's the real fighter of the two. When he drinks milk, he becomes drunk and he becomes stronger. The other kid, dunno his name Danny I think, is just the cheerer. This kid is fat and he always wear sunglasses. He doesn't really fight. Know the title? I tried Shaolin kids but it's a movie of Jet Li. Thanks!

I just want to know why there are a lot of people who are irritated when dog owners let their dogs sleep outside. There's even a point that they call such dog owners irresponsible. I know dogs are family, too, but is it a sin to let dogs sleep outside? We (my dogs sleep outside, well, except when it rains) have our own reasons, you know.

The company name sounds good. When I was interviewed, they told me they don't pay much. Yep, I said "That's alright. I'm after the professional growth..." and stuff like that. So when I got the job, I was happy. When I started, I was surprised. I was up to the job, even though it pays soooooo low because I was really after the company name and the experience. But I wasn't expecting to receive backlogs, doing roles as a sales lady, janitress, errand girl, dishwasher (that's true) and accounting. I'm doing multi-tasking. I'm flexible, so I thought I'd survive this. But I'm really bursting. Whenever I'm in a middle of doing a report (backlog), there will be customers going in the store and buy...so I get up and entertain them. i get back to my desk...I got lost, wondering where I'd stop. (tons of receipts to record) Okay, I know I need to get the backlogs done so I can start anew. But the thing is, are they supposed to deal with the backlogs? And isn't a bad idea for an accountant and a cashier (saleslady) to be a single person? The other problem is I get to be responsible whenever I commit a mistake. I mean, if a customer forgets to pay I need to pay which is completely understood but since I'm doing a clerical job and sales job at the same time, isn't it difficult? Sometimes they need someone to do errands and I have to again pause at what I'm doing and do the errand. Then later they ask for my report, which I'm not done doing yet. Then they say "What? I've thought you're done with it?" How am I supposed to be done with the stupid report if they keep on ordering me to do errands and if there are a bunch of customers pouring in to buy something. I'm already not complaining about the pay but this? Who am I? WOnderwoman? There are other more jobs that I should do.

What to do? I'm already about to start my fourth week in this company. I'm in the process of job hunting again, but there isn't much job for my line of work (accounting).

Anyone know some information or website resources that talk about Alaskan Vampires? It's for a writing assignment (a short story) and I didn't choose the topic. Our public library don't have much...actually, don't have any info about this one and Yahoo and Google results don't show what I'm really looking for. (Most results are simply names of certain blogs that don't talk about the topic and about the movie 30 days of night).
