  • Replacement individual discs for dvd boxsets, where can you get them? (if you even can?)?

Ok, I lent a dvd set out, and somehow it's come back a disc short. Does anyone know a web site that sells individual discs for box sets?? (the disc in question is Home Improvement Series 2, disc 2). Note, Im not looking for a dodgy copy of it, I want an original disc, but the prices they charge for the full set are retarded compared to what I already paid to get it and i refuse to pay over what its worth!

    Thanx in advance!

  • lesnar showing up at HIAC = terrible?

Am I the only person who thinks that WWE need to be more creative than bringing crock lesnar in to HIAC punk/ryback match? Im not a fan of punk, never have been, never will be. Ryback is....well, he's new to the main event and is unproven but has given the WWE a chance to try something new. lesnar isn't in WWE for any other reason than money and so far hasn't been relevant in any way since he "returned" and is a terrible worker anyway and would only serve to be the killing blow to what is already a match that doesn't have much going for it. Heyman has also been lackluster during his time with punk too. So, do you want to see lesnar return or would you prefer a better unpredicted ending to the match?

BQ: If you could seperate Heyman from punk and put him with a diff superstar, who would you choose and why?

  • Would you like to see the Hardcore title back?

Would you like to see the WWE bring back the Hardcore title and implement the 24/7 rule again?

BQ1: Who would you put it on first?

BQ2: What other titles (if any) would you also bring back and who would carry them first?

  • Cena's obesity gimmick and new slogan?

Anyone else think that when cena gets old and fat he should continue to wrestle, only rather than the "rise above hate" gimmick, cos he's battling obesity in the fight of his life he should change the slogan name to "Rise Above Cake". How cool would that be?? I'd by that T-shirt for ALL my chubby friends :D

(Side note, this question is obviously a p!ss take, so please, dot take it too seriously, in fcat, gimme some of your own "gimmicks for old wrestlers" that you wanna see in the future :D )

  • lesnar back. Am i the ONLY one who doesn't care?

So WWE bring bacl CROCK lesnar. Seriously??? Why? having just read his contract obligations on bleacher report's site, It looks like WWE are bending over backwards to accomadate the guy and i have to ask WHY???? He was only there for s SHORT time his first run and for me, he didn't do a lot in the company and he's gonna be part time at best not he's back too so will do even LESS than before. I don't see why WWE have got him back. Surely it would benefit them MORE to build a new monster heel up from their younger talent and give them a steady push rather than bring back a guy who has health issues (I know WWE wont be as tough for him as UFC was in that respect, but it's still a physical job and I think it will affect him and his ability to do it) and will be a bigger draw for WWE in the long run if they give a new heel time to build and dont bury him and crush his momentum like they do with all their monster heels. Mark Henry has recently dropped a ton of momentum (partly due to injury but mostly cos they just stopped pushing him altogether) and Kane is dominating now but with how WWE treat him it'll be 3-6 months being brutal before he starts jobbing again. Lord Tensai is a new heel but wont last too long i dont think and so WWE are resorting to brock....It doesn't make sense to me. Sure he'll get a cheap pop or two for coming back and beating on cena, but so would Gilberg. I don't get this move by WWE as it wont be able to sustain much heat or interest. The Rock and Cena worked cos The Rock is actually a BIG name draw and had a superb all round game (from ring work, to promo's and his awesome improv work too, the wrist notes were a kayfabe thing before anyone says he doesn't improv). But Yeah. Your thoughts on brock and will he be a success or the flop that i predict??

  • Has the IWC killed off the impact that "It begins" return could have had?

Ok, don't get me wrong, I love to speculate as much as the next guy, but with this promo, Im sick of seeing al the different Y2J theories and people saying it's X or Y and also fed up with there not being 5 mins of checking out the WS on here and seeing the SAME questions asked over and over. I'll cop, I asked one too. But now, just the sheer volume of questions and people assuming this and that, I'm no longer looking forward to what could potentially be the biggest return in years for the simple reason I want to know who it is just so the speculation and debates (that really mean jack squat when you think about it cos we can say whatever we want, but it doesn't affect who is actually returning) and im at the point where Im looking forward to the day cos it will end all that rather than looking forward to it to see who returns. So I ask you, has the IWC killed or at least taken most of the fun out of this return and set of promo's?

PLEASE NO Year - 12 Day 2 and month Jan crap or any other theories, Im not interested, the question is on has speculation damaged what could've been way more awesome had we left it alone!

BQ: If you could choose ANY other superstar from current roster to face Rock at WM this year, who would you choose?

  • Was ECW responsible for a LOT of WCW's success?

Ok, Im a way behind here, BUT I just watched the rise and fall of ECW, and thinking about it, the WCW had a helluva a lot of it's work done for them by ECW as far as finding the talents went. Like...OK, I watched WCW and WWE religiously back in the day, but living in the UK ECW was RARELY mentioned by anyone (if at all) and was only on tv for the final year that the comapny was running so I missed almost ALL of the ECW peak before it went bust. But after watching that dvd You realise that almost half (if not more) of the WCW guys came through ECW before WCW came along and in effect "stole" the talent away with big money contracts knowing full well that ECW couldn't rival their cheque book as it were. But it wasn't JUST the talent they stole, they also took the entire gimmicks too. Best example of this, Raven, although in WCW he was still awesome, he was watered down a LOT compared to what he had done in ECW. But EVERY cruiserweight I can think of from WCW, came through ECW first, Rey, Juvi, La Parka, Psicosis and so on, Even Jericho, Eddie, Benoit and Malenko. They all were in ECW prior to WCW. And if you factor in that the rest of the big names for WCW were defectors from the then WWF. I think it says to me that the WCW talent scouts and creative areas (pre Russo and even more so afterwards) for finding and creating NEW FRESH GOOD SUCCESFUL characters and character gimmicks weren't actually up to task and had it not been for WWF and ECW they wouldn't have really had a product to put out during the Attitude Era had they not had the backing of Ted Turner and his billion dollar empire to draw people in with the big bucks. So I again ask you, Is it fair to assume that ECW was resposible for at least 30-50% of WCW's success with the work they put in on creating characters that the WCW subsequently stole from them?

In my eyes, after watching the rise and fall, WWF/E has ALWAYS been the number 1 organisation with ECW now taking the number 2 slot cos although they lacked cash, creativley, they were phenomenal and WCW ranks 4th (because they were lazy creativley and used the stolen gimmicks from other companies) after ROH (3rd) in the top 5 organisations with tna in 5th.

  • Your stable to save WWE?

Ok, rules are simple, Vince has realized that the cm punks, cena's and randy bortons of the world are all in fact awful and useless and the current top heels/contenders in miz, del rio, r-truth and cody rhodes aren't capable to carry the company. So he gives YOU the task to go to the underused but TALENTED part of the roster and put together a 4-6 man stable to take full controlof the titles and carry the company to a new SUCCESSFUL era. Who do you choose and why?

    My picks

    William Regal as leader

    Sheamus

    Drew Mcintyre

    Tyson Kidd

    Barrett

    Christian

Why? Cos all these guys are either being overlooked because of "weaker" mic skills than others (Drew and Tyson) or aren't getting the push and spotlight they have deserved all their careers (Regal and Christian) and others that are PRIMED for championship gold but either got buried or never given a legit chance to be as impactful a champion as they could be (Sheamus and Barrett).

Those are my picks, you agree? Who are yours??

  • 1/2/12 Could it JBL? If not, who else you think it could be besides Y2J?

Just a thought, but Im looking for alternatives to the obvious answers of Y2J and Taker for the videos. Reason I think JBL is a possibility the use of scripture in (i think the second video) and the fact he considered himself a "Wrestling God" Also, he loves stating he's the longest reigning champion in however long and he's got the ego to declare he's coming back to "reclaim what is his" and he's also a familiar force in the WWE too.

I also would like to think it's Vince too coming back to reclaim his company with some plot in mind to take control again in a hostile manner, which I'd LOVE!!! And the videos do fit his persona, but it's probably VERY unlikely to be either of these men.

P.s Im aware a lot of people will have seen the name crossed out on the book that looks like "CHRIS or CRIS" But this is me asking who COULD it be IF Y2J isnt the guy there or plans to bring him back fall through at the last minute. Who else do you think it could be and why??

  • WWE BROKE The MITB cash in rule!?

Is it just me or are WWE good at inconsistency with their stipulations? Examples, HBK winning 96 Rumble match even though he went over the top (illegally granted, but he was still allowed to re-enter the match, but when the same thing happened in...2006 when Shane'O Mac threw him out illegally, he was gone from the match and that was that). BUT the stipulation for the MITB briefcase is cash in ANY TIME ANY PLACE that the holder chooses right? So why can Edge cash in on a battered and bloody cena who can't stand up but D.Bryan CAN'T cash in on Henry just cos he's got a cast on??? I HATE when rules are broken cos it makes the gimmick and stipulation of the thing it represents pointless. If he was told it didn't count, then the MITB is not an any place any time deal is it?

D.Bryan = champion, A ref counted the 3 and the number 1 rule in WWE has ALWAYS been the ref's decision is FINAL and ONLY a ref can reverse a matches decision, NOT the GM's. When is Teddy gonna be replaced I ask you? He's tideous and boring now, give SD a NEW GM and we may just see the ratings improve a bit as Teddy is the most predictable part of the show!

    You agree?

BQ Is D. Bryan the TRUE champ in your eyes?

  • Tarver claims on cena?

Having just read a brief article from wrestleheat.com Tarver has revealed/claimed that cena DELIBERATELY broke/fractured his arm at a PPV the laughed in his face backstage about it.

Here's the link to said article: http://wrestleheat.com/wwe-nxt-star-michael-tarver...

Just wondering what you guys think on this and if you think cena should be pulled up by WWE to sort out if Tarver's claims are legit or just him whining about cena being the main guy? (Personally I think Tarver may be telling us the truth as cena puts himself at the head of the WWE in terms of story line EVEN when he's not WWE champ and seems reluctant to step back and share the spot light with anyone. Thats my view, Your opinions though?

  • ric flair and the top rope?

He scaled to the top rope many hundreds of times in his career, but does anyone remember him actually executing a move off it successfully or was the poor fool thrown like a sack of poop every time? I'm sure i saw him hit it once or twice on someone, but for the life of me I dont remember who on. Do you?

Also, if he did nail someone from the top, do you think it should make a highlight reel of his greates achievements cos pf how rarely it happened? Lol.

  • Agree disagree, Rockstar games should end the GTA series?

Am i the only one who thinks that the game series has long outstayed it's welcome? Each installment is exactly the same as the one before in terms of story line, The gameplay never really changes any and it's just repetitive. The game hasn't done anything to progress gaming really ever since the first GTA was released on PSone (which is in my opinion, the BEST the series has ever produced) The relationship gage in the newer versions of the game is just th respect gage from the first game if we're honest and the GTA games if we're honest lack any real imagination and the only thing that changes from game to game are character names and the games maps.

So, anyone else agree that this game should be killed off and left in the history books of gaming now rather than rehashed every couple of years?

  • Nuxsux turn on punk tonight?

Seeing as how their leader punk is ditching them tonight, anyone else think that there's at LEAST a tiny possibility Vince ORDERS the 2 nexsux members out to the ring (or they just turn up) punk thinks they're gonna help him win only to have them cost him the match. Even if they say they did it cos Vince said he would fire them or strip them of their titles or whatever the reason might be, or they just hate him for turning his back on them.

Your thoughts? (I know how SLIM the chances of this happening are, just wondering what you guys think?)

  • Is it me or did Chyna look like an inflatable doll?

Ok, just wanna say, back in her WWE days, she was awesome and she did a lot for the Divas/womens wrestling division, but what we saw on tna the other night is NOT the Chyna we know. Her implants WAY too big and look ridiculous and her face looks more plastic than babie. Am I the only one who thinks it's sad? (I know she's had her demons to battle with but man, there has to have been a better way for her to feel better about herself than a crap load of surgery?). I HOPE her tna deal isnt one that turns into a full time contract cos I'd hate to see her old injuries pop back up and turn her into a vegetable or something worse!

BQ: Do you think her going to tna was a good idea or would HOF been the better bet?

  • Would you like to see the return of The Godfather in WWE?

How AWESOME would it be to hear his theme music again and get a slight revisit to the Attitude Era? I know he wasnt a top carder really, but he was ALWAYS entertaining and it could also be good for the older fans. Also, bring back guys like D'lo and Ken Shamrock too. Agree, disagree?

BQ: Who would you bring back from the Attitude Era?

  • who is the better heel commentator?

This is a dumb question, but here we go. Who was the better heel announcer, Jerry The King Lawler or, suck *** cole? AND why?

In my opinion it was King cos he cheered the heels, BUT, we still LOVED him for it, where as cole, he cheers the heels, but he's a whiny lil girl and the fans actually hate him, even if it is kayfabe, we still all would prefer he not show up for work.
