I'm not feeling the effects of the 0.5mg of xanax that I take twice a day. It does not help alleviate my anxiety at all. Could this be because I drink a lot of coffee? Would that counteract the xanax?

I adopted two young male cavies a week ago and have them in the same hutch. Originally I only wanted one but have read multiple times that it's much kinder to have two. So they got along fine for the first few days, snuggled up together and were side by side most of the time. Now all of the sudden they are showing signs of aggression to each other.

They're not actually hurting each other but they square off, then lift their noses at each other and kind of lunge at one another. I haven't actually seen them bite each other but they are seeming to butt heads at times. Is this normal behaviour?

Am I going to have to separate these two or are they just establishing who is the dominant boar? Should I be worried?

I just started playing black and white 2 a few hours ago and the peoples main desire is for sleep. But I have no idea how to make them sleep. anybody know?

I've always been a depressed person but lately it's gotten worse, I'm withdrawn, I've lost all my friends and I have no passion for living. I feel like if I knew my purpose in life or my calling maybe I could work towards that and get my life back on track. But how does one go about it?

I'm a first year Chem student with an exam in a few days and I'm really struggling to understand Redox reactions. I mean, I get the general concept of the passing of electrons from one compound/element to another, but I don't know how to tell when a redox reaction will occur...? I have access to Tables of Standard Reduction Potentials, but I still don't know exactly how to use it and in which instances a reaction will occur or not??

I've installed the game 'TamaToy' as instructed. I've gone into the properties of the game and checked put it into windows 95 compatibility mode, changed the settings to run in 256 colours with a 640 x 480 screen resolution, which is what the game requires. But when I try to play the game I get this error message:

Run-time error '6':

Overflow

Uhm.. what does this mean? Do I need to change any settings on the laptop or the game? Is there any way I can play this game? I really appreciate any input :)

It's not fleas. I know that for sure, we treat her all the time and when she has them I can see them.

And it's not mange, I got the vet to check her for that- she doesn't have it. He suggested that its a plant in the garden and gave me a brochure on plants to watch out for. We have none of them and she barely goes near the plants anyway. She cries because of the itch and tries to scratch it on anything she can. I scratch her back all the time but its never enough. Would else could it possibly be? Please help my little Rascal :(

Anyways he wants to get this big tattoo on his side of a really hot anime girl. Is it silly that I'm feeling jealous over this? I really don't want him to get it but he's been wanting it for a while. I just feel like every time I look at the tattoo I am going to be thinking that he wishes I looked like her, or that he'd prefer a girl that looked like her.

Should I talk to him about it?

Is there a certain way to tell? Or do you just know?

I had to use system recovery on my Windows XP computer as it was overrun with viruses and was crashing. It wouldn't let me access any anti virus software so recovery was my only real option.

But recovery has wiped all my files (Some of which I really need!!)

So I considered using system restore to return the computer to a few days ago, before the viruses all struck (and when my files were still on the comp). But when I go into system restore and choose to restore my computer to an earlier date, none of the dates are bold and it won't let me go to the previous month either..

Is there anything I can do to get my files back?? Please help me tekkies :(

I know this sounds like a stupid question, but it's obvious that the more I workout and the harder, the more I sweat and shower, and if I have, say, permanenet hair dye, or a complex hair dye job done on my hair, it's going to fade faster, going to get ruined.. seems to be pointless spending lots of money on getting your hair done when it's going to ruin faster.

Does anyone have any advice or suggestions?

Im going to be studying acting/performing arts/film/theatre, that kind of thing and i'm in Queensland. This is the path want to take, I want to live around art and beauty, so i've made me decision.

Does anyone know, which is the best course at uni or school, or what performing arts school in general may be the best and offer the best chances of success?

We broke up about 6 months ago. I've had another bf in the mean time but I ended that because the whole time I was just missing my ex.

He's made it clear that he doesn't even want to have contact with me. I keep dreaming about him and waking up feeling horrible and lonely.

It's time I move on but I'm struggling with it. What steps should I take to let it go?

I get really anxious around people, or even when thinking about being around people other than my family. I have alot of friends and used to do stuff with them all the time.

But all of the sudden I've just lost contact with them. I get really nervous conversing with anyone. Like I have nothing to say and I hate awkward silence. I avoid people I know just so I won't have to talk to them. I honestly feel more comfortable in a room of complete strangers because I know they won't talk to me.

My psychologist says I have social phobia.. I don't know what to do to change it.. Has anyone experienced this or have any suggestions as to what I can do or say to make it better?
