  • Ipod question? broken screen

About a year and a half ago or so I bought an ipod from ebay.. Worked great, nothing wrong with it.. My brother put it in his backpack and took it to school, when at school he says he threw the backpack "not thinking" and broke the screen on the ipod. It still plays music I just cant see anything. Is there anyway to fix it without having to buy a new one? Possibly something to too expensive, I don't want to spend 200 dollars fixing it, that's almost as much as a new one would cost. So any suggestions?

  • ticks vs. horses?

I have an old neighbor who has one horse living on 20 acres, I was petsitting for him and I noticed the horse has probably 100 or so tricks on him. I did my best picking them off, but I know he still has alot on him. I'm going to see the owner tomorrow to get paid and I wanted to give him some suggestions on keeping the ticks off the horse. I was told Ivermectin will repel the ticks. Also guinea hens eat ticks, so that could be another way of keeping them down. Are there any shampoos that can be used to help keep them off? The main problem though is the owner isnt really into the horse, but wont sell him either, so anything that can be done is probably going to be done by me, maybe once a week or so (all depending on what the owner will say). So what else can I put on my list to of things he can do to help the horse be more comfortable?

  • what camera would you recomend?

I lost my camera and am kinda looking to buy a new one. I don't know what camera would be best for what I do though. I usually take tons of pictures of horses (generally their always running) football games, kids playing, so basically everything is action shots. Preferably a high zoom, and capable of taking videos would be a plus. Also really clear pictures, my last one was kinda blurry. Maybe up to a $500 dollar range.. What camera would you recomend for what I would be using it for?

  • New bit for my horse?

Yes, a bit question! I have a 7 yr old QH mare whos curently being ridden in a copper mouth tom thumb. Shes still pretty green, and has always been ridden in a broken bit. I went froma really basic snaffle, to full cheek snaffle and an now ridding her in the tom thumb. So this is like her first leverage bit I guess you could say, because shes still pretty green would you stay with riding in the tom thumb, or move up to something different? She listens fairly well for what she knows, but I think I still feel I need abit more control. Kinda like its not time to hang around anymore, its time to work, and its serious business. I'm having a good friend of mine is coming out to ride and see what she thinks, shes trained alot of horses so im confident in what she has to say. But id like to know what my fellow yahooers think?

What I need is like fund raising ideas, to earn between 10 and 20 thousand PER MONTH. Id love to keep this barn going, theres nothing like this left in my area, so I gotta figure something out. I know yall can help me think of something spectacular, so lets hear it!
