  • Why don't my mom's birds mate?

So, my mom's always kept parakeets. Those cheap kind (around $20.00) you get at Pet Smart. She has a male and a female so I was curious why they've never mated and had babies. Do they sterilize the birds? Do they not mate well in captivity? Not trying to breed them or anything. Just curious.

    Thanks.

  • cooking time for chicken?

I'm using a recipe from the French fried onions for chicken. However I am using regular chicken breasts instead of the boneless/skinless in the recipe. How much longer should I keep it in the oven. The cooking time is 20 minutes for the boneless chicken breasts.

  • When a ob/gyn is on call is he/she in the hospital the whole day?

I was just wondering about this. My doctor was the on call doctor from his practice when I delivered so I was curious if he was stuck at the hospital for New Year's or can he be out and about and just able to make it to the hospital in a reasonable amount of time.

  • Bleeding after a c-section?

Anybody out there has had both a vaginal birth and a c-section? I'm curious about the vaginal bleeding after a c-section in comparison to a vaginal birth. So if anybody's here willing to share their experience please share.

I'm sitting with a full bladder getting ready for an ultrasound and hoping my placenta's moved so I don't have to get the c-section but I'm thinking the worse.

  • Question about dollar store test?

So since I'm cheap I depend on these for pregnancy results but have been curious do they work the same for everybody else. When I've gotten a positive result it's came in under the minute and the positive line comes in before the control line.
