Have you ever felt so low, and felt that your life is falling apart so much, that you just lose your grip and lose your morals?

Your self-respect, self-esteem just hits an all time nadir and you simply let yourself go?

I am 18 and have been ill for quite some time. For example, for 5 years I have suffered with M.E. and goodness knows what else.

I am never well and I always am flooded with symptoms, a lot of the time I feel like I am dying, have something drastically wrong with my head, like I have a brain tumour.

The things I experience are beyond inexplicable. I get the weirdest and most unpleasant of psychological sensations - My psychiatrist thinks it's anxiety/stimuli overload with the Asperger's/information-overload-disorder.

I do wonder if the psychological/mental sensations are due to dissociation and/or the repercussions of once being a child epileptic.

My mind can't bring me to pick up a book, nor write in sentences anymore. :'(

All my mind ever seems to do is introspectively psychoanalyse as to how ill I am feeling in terms of illness- It's been happening for years - subconsciously too - it is very automatic - Like a one-track mind. But I am always frenetically thinking about many different things.

Can anyone relate/give me any tips, please?

I bounced from one sixth form to another for a matter of a few weeks at two different ones. I went to Acorn Training for a few months last year and completed a programme of study. Inbetween, I have taken many breaks, been lazy and sough light relief.

Damn you M.E./CFS, Non Verbal Learning Difficulties, mild Asperger's Syndrome, Depression and what else I have got.

Life seems insurmountable and I am barely ever well. I often feel like I am dying.

Yesterday afternoon I overdosed on my sleeping pills - Seroquel XL - to attempt suicide - I took 30, but was gonna take the entire contents which remained - 50.

I was an inpatient for the night at hospital.

My ankles, wrists, fingers and stomach distended/swelled up. Now I think the glands in my neck have done. I think these side effects are partly due to my contraceptive implant reacting as well.

I was hydrated via a drip full of water, had my blood pressure and heart tracings tested frequently.

I have tight aches in my chest.

I've had bloodtests, which turned out clear; and have been told that there should not be any permanent damage, and the anatomical swelling would go down, but there is that little reservation there.

Did this happen to you? What do you have to say?

I am 18, 19 next month. From the ages of 8-12 I suffered from epilepsy - Full-blown Tonic-Clonic/Grand Mal seizures. I was on meds for one year afterwards.

From the ages of 13 - Nearly 14, I have suffered with M.E./Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.

I do wonder if I have any other illnesses on the side - Like dissociation - I'll space out, feel like I am dying, I won't be able to read properly and my vision will be hazy.

I will get the weirdest and scariest and most unpleasant of psychological/mental sensations - Like the feeling I have a brain tumour. I cannot describe the things I have been through, health-wise and what subjectively inevitably occurs in my mind.

I can barely read, write, or do basic maths any more, I dread it and my mental clarity and sensations totally crush my mental abilities! Everything seems insurmountable - I don't think my hands have the stamina to hold a pen and write in sentences.

Not to tempt fate, but I can feel seriously ill; Brain damaged even.

I am on meds - Fluroxetine by day and Serequell by night, just to note.

Could this brief listing be the repercussions of once being an epileptic?

Mine is really wet (Pun *Wink, wink*), goofy and jolly. A few months ago, literally every other word of mine was sexual and I saw suggestible euphemisms in EVERY other word. I followed every joke of mine and my perceived sexual innuendos in the discourse of others with a flagrant guffaw and the choking upon my own laughter; Rather like that of a horse "Nay".

I have calmed down a hell of a lot due to the calming of teas and the voyage of daily coffees. :P
