well it seems that i have some issues ( most likely virus and root kit ) with ubuntu ... ever 5 minutes or so my system will start to open programs randomly and it would created folder or delete files from the desktop randomly. ?

I think i will definately will be reinstalling the OS however before that i would like to track down the program that is creating this issues ? So i need help to find out the program.

Is there any way to find which program ran last. ... or something that would help, also it there any way to create logs or check logs to about such issues.

I have tried to look under System Monitor however with my limited knowledge of Ubuntu was unsuccessful kindly provide suggestion .............. Thanks in advance.

I am facing issues with Ctrl key... it does not work at all after install Virtual Box... i mean even it i am not using Virutal box and simply trying some operation like save , copy paste nothing works .. however the shortcuts for the desktop like launching terminal or programs using Ctrl key works.

So is there a command to reset everthing for the keyboard drivers. or change the config file under the user account or something... i am using Ubuntu 10.10 , gnome...

The ctrl key on my key board in not working for certain application, actually i haven't checked for all the applications , i am interested only in Konsole , the text editor and open office. But the ctrl key does not seem to work in any of the three, however there is not issue with the key board ,, and l the shortcuts work fine in the desktop .. like the shortcut to logout , or open a terminal every thing works fine using the ctrl key ... but the ctrl key some how does not seem to function in any of the above mentioned applications.

Why does the government not want to include MP's and MLA's ?

it is like saying if you rob 10 Rs you will be executed and if you rob 10 chrore ... you would be treated like a Prince..

This government only wants to execute the poor lower and middle class they have no intention of controlling the higher elite class.

Where as we all know it is these higher elite class who are real criminals ... They always devise scams that runs up to chrore and crore of rupees.

Lastly .. if you do not oppose ... that means .... A. Either you or your dad is a MP or MLA and you want to save your A@@.

B. You do not have brains to see a simple logic that government is trying again to bully a commoner by devising such a evil bill as it there is a dirth of law for a commoner.

Have you ever thought that some people spend years in jail for petty crimes just because they cannot afford for a Bail. and some one like Mr Kalmadi is in prison for vacation. if he is in for 1 year which i doubt... he would be roaming outside for 8 months, (to file petition , medical checkup, blaw blaw, blaw...) and yep not to mention 4 months he spents in the so called prison is AC and has all the necessary entertainment available today.

I think government of indian needs to make all the Prison like the one Government provides to Kalmadi, then i would say the government is impartial by law.. else ... Mr Kapil Sibal your government is partial ... and if firmly reject the idea ... that everyone is equal in eyes of law.

All the slaves in india were given a hope in form of respected Anna however looking at the recent activity ... I think Lokpal bill would be nothing more that a joke to the Public in general. Since Tihar Jail is nothing less then a picnic spot or a recreation room for the rich and the powerful the Indian public should wake up in such a crisis. Else prosecution and law would only apply to the poor and the oppressed and not the rich and the powerful though this is already true we need to turn the table around. Why should only the poor be prosecuted.

Today our nation is only for the rich and the powerful. Democracy is just a word in a book which is use to ex polite the poor and the same word works like a firewall for the rich and the powerful ?
