2 AnswersBiology9 years agoJust colored my hair~ how long must I wait before I can add highlights?
I just colored my own hair yesterday with drug store box loreal hair color. It was full all over hair coloring not tough ups. My question is how long must I wait before I can add my own highlights, again regular box drug store Garnier Nutrisse multi-highlights or I have a bottle of developer with a bleach packet. Its naturally straight and never been permed if that matters. It's been several years since I've colored my hair last so as of yesterday it was 100% natural.
Please answer Generally, not based on brand, chemicals, and whatever else. Thank you for your help.
Also, this is old stuff I've had for years around my home and once gone I will never purchase again. I've recently learned of the horrible abuse of animal testing and will only support leaping bunny products from here on out once my old products are used up.
Thank you for your help
1 AnswerHair9 years agocomputer not responding?!?
Sometimes when I turn on my computer it goes into "not responding" mode and the mouse circle just keeps spinning. I can't clip on anything so I can't get to task manager. Even if I did get to task manager there would be no program to close since it only happens when I first turn the computer on. It doesn't happen to often but I hate to force shut down my laptop. Its a Toshiba Satellite A505. Its not a virus because I bought it brand new from the store and its been happening from the beginning. I never bothered returning it for another. Im am pretty computer illiterate so please explain as simple as possible what I need to do fix it or stop it from happening and why this is happening. Thanks a bunch!
4 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade agoCockatiel SERIOUS attatchment issues and noise problem?
PROBLEM~ I live in apartment and he is constantly way to loud. Every day he sings for me to wake up between 6:00 and 7:30am. Throughout the day if I leave the room he scream/calls for me. If he does not see me he screams or calls for me. Neighbors are complaining. Also he has attachment issues. Only I can handle him and he wants me in his eye sight at ALL times. The noise is sometimes screaming, chirping, singing, or just a desperate call for me to return.
HISTORY~ I've had him 5 years found in a dumpster. I take him out play with him at least 3 to 4 hours a day. I have spoiled him so I understand this problem is my own fault but I desperately need a solution to stop complaining neighbors. He was found fully trained, dances, sings notes to actual songs, loves to get head and neck massages. We both are attached to each other and love him with all my heart and will NEVER give him up.
WHAT I HAVE TRIED~ Covering his cage. Leaving music on or TV. Spray bottle. Toys. Mirrors. Sleeping next to him so he sees me all night but he STILL sings/ wakes me up every morning. I don't mind as much as the neighbors. Cage next to a window. I can't ignore due to complaining neighbors.
ATTACHMENT ISSUES~ Only I can handle him. He must see me at all times. I have various perches in every room of apt. He follows me to every room which is ok. I place him on perch and he stays for 1 minute then flies to my head. Place him back to perch then flies back to my head. We could go through this 20 times and it never stops unless I hold him on my hand or shoulder. And of course I must be within his eye sight at all times. Leaving my apartment is a challenge
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR SUGGESTIONS
5 AnswersBirds1 decade agoMy new rescued guinea pig will not eat or make much movement?
I have cared for guinea pigs for 10 years with no significant problems, until now. I rescued her son about a week ago and finally was able to rescue her yesterday. She was in a poop and urine soaked cage. I cleaned her up and loved her, and immediately gave her food. I know the previous owners did not feed her and I don't know when was the last time she ate. She is about 3-4 years (educated guess.) I have given her pellets, timothy hay, a massive variety of veggies, and a sliver of an apple. She has not eaten anything in over 24 hours that I have had her plus the time she spent without food from the previous owners. She nibble equivalent to 3 guinea pig bites of apple and then wouldn't touch it anymore. The rest of the food forget it. Her son is thriving since I have had him and Im worried that Im doing too little too late. If she really is dying I want to make her comfortable and happy as possible. She is caged right next to her son and ofter has her nose to the cage watching him. Also she has made almost no movement since getting her. Even reaching in to pick her up, she makes no movement. Please tell me how to force feed her comfortably and safely. I want her to die at home with her son by her side.
4 AnswersRodents1 decade agoCockatiel wont shut up- Im DESPERATE FOR HELP!!!!?
My cockatiel will not shut up. Every morning without fail, he SCREAMS for me. I take him out every day for hours and I think Ive trained him this way. I live in a 12 floor apartment complex and can not allow him to persist or I will be kicked out. I found him 5 years ago in a dumpster and has been with me ever since. But I have tried taking him out, new toys, treats, covering the cage, leaving the TV or radio on for his entertainment, and even a squirt bottle. He will do this on occasion at other times through the day too. Overall he is spoiled, happy, healthy boy and we enjoy playing together but the mornings are a huge problem. Im desperate for help. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!
