About 6 months ago our water pressure in the house started acting abnormally. When any faucet is turned on the pressure starts really high and after about 15 seconds drops to the normal level. After toilets get done filling after flushing (water cuts off) the pipes can be heard rattling from the pressure. We first noticed this after we installed a new front loading washer, but i dont know if this has anything to do with it. Anyone have any ideas as to what is wrong?

I am trying to type a puzzle but all of the letter do not line up in each column. Can anyone tell me what setting in WORD turns this function off??? Thanks in advance. BTW, I am using XP and Vista on 2 different PC's with Office 2007.

Having issues with my browser. There are many times I cannot access certain websites, including this one, on my desktop pc. All is good using my laptop. I usually get "unable to connect" pages pop up. The main difference between PC's is my Desktop is running XP and my Laptop is running Vista (both 32bit) I have installed IE8 on both PC's. I have tried using Firefox and this does not help. More info if you need it is available.

2 yr old Silver leaf maple tree approx 3" in diameter and 8ft tall. The last 2 august seasons the tree's leaves have turned brown and fallen. Last year was extremely hot and dry, this year has been hot and wet. Not sure why this is happening, any ideas?

PC wont boot. No POST beeps. Fans run, video card fans run, wont go to BIOS. Already reset CMOS and removed video card to see if there was a problem with it hanging up the mobo. No video out of either mobo or card. Tried different HD and Memory. Neither worked. Power supply has good output. Any ideas?? MB is a Abit AM2HD

I need a second opinion on which way to go on my pc. I recently tried to plug a usb hard drive into my pc to do backups. Windows XP froze. The only way to unfreeze was the holding the power button down. Now the unit will not boot. No POST beep or anything. Fans spin, Video card fan spins as well. HD powers up (audible) but no video out or anything from the video card or main board. Any advice will be appreciated.

No red lights, plenty of ventilation, and it can lock up in 1 min, on boot or after 5 minutes. I have seen may postings about it happening, but I can find what causes it. Anyone have an idea or had this happen to them?

I have tried just about everything I can think of to help make my xp pro shutdown faster. At times it can take up to 10-15 min to completely shutdown. Does anyone have any ideas

Does anyone know a setting that may be engaged that makes XP Pro shut down extremely slow (saving settings stays up for approx 3 minutes).

Windows XP Pro. After the windows xp splash screen I get a light blue blank screed with the windows hour glass just spinning and will not boot to the desk top. Any advice??

I am usually pretty good about windows related stuff, but my xp shuts down quite slowly. It takes about a minute for the shutdown icons to appear once shutdown is selected. Boot up is really quick. Running AMD X2 5600 with 2gb ram so that is not an issue. Anyone got anything to try?

Anyone know how to get movies off my DVR (Direct TV) to PC? Software?

Where do you put the Direct TV box? Guess they didnt think of that when they invented the LCD and Plasma.

I chose a good hardwood engineered floor for a game room (approx 400 sqft)(on an wood subfloor) is it better to nail down or glue down, and what is the pro/cons of each. And which is easiest if I chose to do it myself. Thanks in advanced

02 Explorer V6. Added a bottle of RXP to the tank and within 24hrs the "Service Engine Soon" light was on. Coincidence? Running fine, no noticible problems. Any suggestions? I know the light is an "emission control" light.

'02 Ram with 78k miles. Engine at idle surges to about 1100 rpm without any driver input. Happens in "park" "drive" and "reverse" with and without the AC running. It is more noticeable with the AC running but happens either way. The problem is if your foot is not on the brake securely, it will lurch forward. Not good. Any Ideas???
