im using a unifi 5mbps package.surfing s great,no buffer on utube and such.speedtest gets dw 4.5mbps up 4.2mbps.but when i play dota 2 and other online games its like continuously lagging.1 second the ping s as low as 15 then it spikes up to 400 500 for the next 5minutes or so.its so frustrating.unifi is like the fastest package ISP s here can offer and it cant support online games?ive used mobile broadbands that can do better.is there a simple solution to this or should i just sue the ISP

Ive a hp pavillion running on windows vista.i tried to format laptop and install fresh windows 7 but failed because laptop was unable to boot from cd.

note also tht my dvd cd drive is fully functional.and when i tried changing my internal hard disk,and initiate boot from cd,there was no problem

does this mean my hard disk is protected or some sort?it is working fine

assalamualaikum..in light of the forthcoming eid mubarak,i can say tht im feeling rather down and not up for it.i dont know y,but i just dont feel like celebrating eid.i dislike the fact of having to dress up,go meet relatives and stuff.i just wish there wasnt an eid this year..and quite frankly this feeling does bother me.i know tht eid is and should be a special day to muslims.it should be celebrated with joy and happiness.i feel so guilty for having these thoughts.and it puzzles me too,i usually look forward to eid,more thn ramadhan at least.but this year,ramadhan has been refreshing in every way.i feel so at ease.not a worry in my mind,not a problem to dwell on.fasting has been a breeze,and alhamdulillah Allah has given me guidance to become a better muslim.so i find it puzzling,for enjoying ramadhan,but not looking forward to eid.the 2 should by right be complementary because eid is a gift for the sacrifices weve made throughout ramadhan.my main question is,could this imply tht im not fully geared in the ramadhan spirit?are there consequences to...possibly..ditching eid?u know,just go pray in the morning and lay back at home the rest of the day.no celebrations,no open houses to attend and stuff?

i recently came to know of some of the principles in sufism.and the most notable,and perhaps most significant aspect of it tht pertains to myself i believe is regarding pride and vanity.after learning how sufism views this topic ive come to terms tht ive been terribly neglecting the importance of humbleness in life.it became apparent tht things tht may seem common self esteem,self pride suppliments are indeed acts of vanity and insolence towards Allah.often we attribute our successes and achievements to hard work,often we think our faith,ibadah is sufficient,more than others.often we forget tht Allah is the sole provider of all.frm the clothes tht we wear,to our positive qualities and even to our piety and faith,all came from Allah alone.with tht being said,what we should feel for ourself is nothing but humility,weakness,dependency in the lights of Allah.any form of pride and vanity thus would jeopardize our full submission towards Allah..

however achieving this state of mind is indeed arduous for myself.sometimes realizing tht i felt proud makes me feel angry.angry for the fact tht i knw im not supposed to feel proud but instead i should feel thankful.ive tried being practical about this too.for instance things tht i usually take pride in,things im notably good at,i try to hide from others and even try to make it appear as if im nt credible.but at the end of it all i still feel proud because of i know what im credible of doing.this may sound confusing but what im trying to point out is this impossible problem of mine to rid myself of pride and vanity.can brothers and sisters out there help me out here?point out what should be done.im just so lost right now

i cant fathom why americans are so fanatically one sided towards israel. not only do americans feel unaccountable for all the atrocities committed by israeli soldiers upon palastinians, which by right they should, considering the fact tht america is paying the bills for israel's arsenal; and also the fact tht americans think palastinians are the ones who are actually violating israelis, americans, in general, ALSO tend to blind themselves from the truth behind israel-palastine conflicts over this past decades.

the moment any of us question whether israel should be penalized for their unscrupulous acts, the immediate response would be either, "what about the suicide bombers blowing themselves in israeli restaurants?" or "israel are actually the ones being violated, dont fall for false propaganda", all of which are clean-cut, unreasonable. even if it were true tht palastinians are abusing israelis, does tht justify the cruelty tht they inflict upon palastinians?

to me the trinity is rather silly. how could god(jesus) worship god? moreover, if jesus were god even, why not worship the god he worshiped, obviously the god tht jesus worship would be a higher being thn himself.

i used to contract acute asthma back when i was small. eventually it stopped when i reached puberty or so, when i was like 13 yo. and after tht i was leading a healthy life, no spores or dust or cold drinks or citrusy fruits seem to bother me. but then, last week when i was out camping in the woods, the worst had happened. i had a severe asthma attack after more than 4 years of being free frm asthma. but i must say it is not as chronic as it used to be. a small dose of cold tablets cured it in an instant. but whats worrying is tht my asthma attack seems to recur rather often after tht incident.

my question is, is there a need to be worried? is my asthma problem coming back and here to stay? what course of immediate action should i take to suppress this issue?

this thing started 3 days ago, which wasnt that obvious at tht moment. now tht its been prolonging still, im getting kinda worried. heres the details:
