Jeremiah 30 predicts the return of Israel (Jacob) to their land and speaks of a time of trouble for them.

Jer, 30:10, "Therefore fear thou not, O my servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return. . . ."

Jer. 30:7, "Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble; but he shall be saved out of it."

No one but Chuck Norris can express so much emotion with a blank face. No matter what the situation, he's a master at taking that one look and working it into the scene. No other actor I've seen can deliever every emotion under the sun without changing his expression.

I am concerned that Mormons have brought into a con-artist. Smith translated some Egyptian hieroglyphs that were incorporated into LDS scripture but later turned out to be a very common Egyptian funerary text dating from around the time of Christ; some 2,000 after the time of Abraham. The real translation bore no resemblance to that of Smith's. Please watch this documentary video:

Even worse than the hieroglyphs is when Smith claimed to translate ancient writings from THE KINDERHOOK PLATES, which some guys made as a prank and gave to Smith.
