  • Where is my motivation and how do I get it back?

I used to be able to work out insanely well. I could hop on a treadmill and do 5-6 miles pretty easily. Now I barely can do a mile without getting incredibly bored. I don't know what happened, I seriously have no motivation. Also, I always work out with a friend and the past 3 weeks he has been busy so I've had to work out alone, now I barely can do a workout with getting bored and not really caring. How can I get the guy who could run miles and miles easily & workout easily every day without having anyone with me?

For example, if a small business owner wanted to leave on a extended holiday or do some sort of missions abroad and wanted to put his small business on hold- what word or description would he use to tell others his business is on hold.

  • Worker's Compensation question, please help?

Ok, so my company is subject to mandatory workers’ compensation laws in MN the state in which it does business. My employee work as part of a crew that travels to remote locations to repair downed power lines and other damaged equipment. At a distant site, my other employee was injured in an accident that is entirely the other employees fault. He files a claim for workers’ compensation. Should the claim be granted by my business? What would be my best defense against it?

  • Lawyers or law people please help!?

Principal Resources Corporation contracts with Quality Construction to build an addition to Principal’s corporate office building. Quality contracts with Rite Supply Company for materials for the addition but refuses to pick up the materials. Meanwhile, Principal hires Skye, a certified public accountant, to work in its cost-accounting division as an employee, with no authority to hire or supervise others. Skye asks Theo, an outside experienced accountant, to advise her on certain accounting procedures but fails to pay Theo for the service. Principal also contracts with Uma, a salesperson, to solicit orders for its products in a designated territory. Uma obtains an order from Verity Industries, Inc., which is assured the order will be filled soon. But Uma does not follow through with the paperwork and fails to submit the order to Principal. Verity suffers a loss. Rite Supply, Theo, and Verity Industries claim Principal is liable under agency law. Discuss fully whether an agency relationship was created by Principal with Quality Construction, Skye, or Uma.

  • Am I delusional or is Apple awesome for a reason?

Ok, so I am a college student studying online marketing and I am ALWAYS on the computer for my classes and my part time business. One thing that I want from all my electronics is fluid, easy to use, compatibility with all my other electronics. I see these MAC people that swear by their electronics but I always thought they were just glorified billboards for their overpriced electronics so they felt better about the cognitive dissonance that Apple products gave them.

So my question, why should I switch to MAC? Is it that much better? If I did switch it would be thousands of dollars in investments for the hardware and software I need to do my stuff.

  • Can any lawyers help me out?

Chris promises Dina $40,000 if she graduates from Eagle College. Dina enrolls in Eagle, attends full-time for four years, and graduates. When Dina asks Chris for $40,000, Chris says, "I don't remember promising you $40,000. But if there was a promise, it's not enforceable, because we didn't bargain for it. And even if there was a promise that would otherwise be enforceable, I revoke it now." Can Dina enforce Chris's "promise"? Why or why not?

    Please explain! Thank you.

  • Can any lawyers help me out?

On May 1, Brand Name Industries, Inc. (BNI), sent me a letter, via overnight delivery, offering to employ me to audit BNI's financial statements for the current year for $10,000. In the letter, BNI stated that I had ten days to accept. On May 5, I sent BNI a fax that stated, "The price for the audit seems too low. Would you consider paying $12,000?" BNI received the fax. The next day, another auditor Dan offered to conduct the audit for $8,000. On learning of Dan's offer, I immediately e-mailed BNI, agreeing to do the work for $10,000. BNI received this e-mail on May 7. Explain why BNI and I do, or do not, have a contract.

If you are an OWS protester can you answer these questions for me, and please just don't regurgitate some worthless jargon you heard at one of the protests; I want you to tell me personally why you are protesting.

  • Business Law question..?

Ellen contracts to buy six cases of vintage Fertile Valley wine from Grapes & Vines Winery for $1,200. The contract states that delivery is to be made at Ellen's residence "on or before May 1, to be used for daughter's wedding reception on May 2." On May 1, Grapes & Vines's delivery van is involved in an accident, no wine is delivered that day, and no one from Grapes & Vines tells Ellen. On the morning of May 2, Ellen buys the wine from Happy Hill Winery. That afternoon, just before the reception, Grapes & Vines tenders delivery of the wine at Ellen's residence. She refuses tender. Grapes & Vines sues her for breach of contract. How is the court most likely to rule?
