I apologize for the dumb questions I bring up but I'm trying to figure out the 'tea party' thing. There are 435 members of the house of representatives. There are 49 tea party members, 232 republicans and 200 democrats which is more than 435.

My question is how a member can be tea party and republican party at same time, if they are separate then democrat party have the majority.

Her father is black and her mother is white, She was offered a minority discount at a predominately white college. However the best college for the field she wants into is a predominately black college, would she also be able to claim minority as white there?

Obama announced a new Executive Order that would make permitting the southern leg of the pipeline a top priority. The move also established a multi-agency task force to identify the most urgent projects and create a roadmap for permitting them by the end of May.

sorry for the jumble, but thats how my mind feels, romney is campaigning he wants the pipeline and that obama messed up for not having it built. But the start of it was republicans trying to stop it saying it was not a good idea?
