  • Is the Tea party split party?

I apologize for the dumb questions I bring up but I'm trying to figure out the 'tea party' thing. There are 435 members of the house of representatives. There are 49 tea party members, 232 republicans and 200 democrats which is more than 435.

My question is how a member can be tea party and republican party at same time, if they are separate then democrat party have the majority.

  • why are people referring to the cell phone program as obame phone?

in 2008 the first application of this program for mobile phones began when a company called Tracfone started their Safelink Wireless service in Tennessee.

Aha, some say, that’s the same year Obama was elected! Well, that’s true. But the service in Tennessee was launched three months prior to Obama being elected. And that means the discussion and approval of the extension of the program occurred under President Bush’s watch.

    The Bush Phone, anyone?

  • Is Ann Coultier really say that civil rights is only for blacks?

I have seen quite a few things on fox news that was spun around hard enough to snap off your neck, but this Ann Coultier why is she even on any news when she says things like civil rights is only a black thing?

The last time I looked in the dictionary civil meant social and rights meant just that.

  • keystone pipeline question?

Romney: I’ll build Keystone pipeline even ‘if I have to do it myself’

Obama said House Republicans forced his decision by including a provision in last month's legislation for a short-term extension to the payroll tax cut that required him to either issue a permit to allow the 1,700-mile pipeline to be built

    http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2012/01/18/six-reas...

Obama announced a new Executive Order that would make permitting the southern leg of the pipeline a top priority. The move also established a multi-agency task force to identify the most urgent projects and create a roadmap for permitting them by the end of May.

sorry for the jumble, but thats how my mind feels, romney is campaigning he wants the pipeline and that obama messed up for not having it built. But the start of it was republicans trying to stop it saying it was not a good idea?

  • is any of the facts in this usa debt incorrect?

The debt has increased by just 41.4 percent during the first several years of president Obama's term, from around $10 trillion to $15 trillion. Ronald Reagan, on the other hand, presided over a near-doubling of the debt, increasing the number by 188 percent. Bush 41 presided over a 55.6 percent increase, and Bush 43 presided over an 89 percent increase. At the same time, the year-over-year increase in the debt under President Obama has dropped from 15 percent to 4 percent. The president also cut the deficit from $1.4 trillion in his first year to $900 billion in 2013 (projected by the CBO) -- and it's worth noting that $1.2 trillion of the 2009 deficit was inherited from a George W. Bush spending request in 2008.
