Blood test for maternal grandfather?
I've started working on my family tree and have found out that my grandfather may not have been my mother's real father. Now I know DNA is difficult (or impossible) when trying to find paternal lineage through the mothers line. I want to know if there is a way to at least figure out relationship through blood test. I've been told who the potential father may be but the thing is that both potential fathers are now dead. I do believe that the one (the one that I just found out about) may have had children by another woman (other than my grandmother), so they'd be essentially my half-Aunts or half-uncles. So is there a blood test that would tell me if I'm related?
2 AnswersGenealogy1 decade agoRhoGAM Question?
If a mother has been given the series of 2 RhoGAM shots as a result of her first pregnancy does she then have to get them with every pregnancy/miscarriage afterwards? I guess in simplest terms, I'm asking, is this a one time thing?
Thanks

10 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoWas Jesus’ death really a sacrifice?
I’m actually surprised I haven’t seen this question yet (though it may have and I just missed it.) But the logic in thinking of it as a real sacrifice is really baffling. Ok, I’m atheist and I know the whole crucifixion, and Jesus for that matter, may not have even existed so I’m going to pose this from the logic of Christians.
My understanding is that Jesus was/is a god, God, or part of God. Now, death for a god doesn’t seem possible, but we’ll go with the whole, “He took human form so he was human” bit, but he performed miracles which consisted of healing the sick and raising the dead. So isn’t asking a god, God, or part of God to die and come back to life much like asking LeBron James to dunk a basketball? And as far as the sacrifice goes, isn’t his “home” in heaven with “his father”, so is him dieing and going back to heaven really a sacrifice? Wouldn’t a real sacrifice be more like him staying on Earth for all of eternity to teach all or even suffering in hell for our sins?
I really don’t understand the logic of how a god could die and come back to life just to go back up to heaven and that can be considered a sacrifice. Can someone help me out!?
29 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoBattered Woman's Syndrome?
I think I just figured it out!!!
Followers of modern religions suffer from a form of Battered Woman's Syndrome! When you see the symptoms, do you agree?
There are four general characteristics of the syndrome:
1. The woman believes that the violence was her fault.
2. The woman has an inability to place the responsibility for the violence elsewhere.
3. The woman fears for her life and/or her children's lives.
4. The woman has an irrational belief that the abuser is omnipresent and omniscient.
Just replace "woman" with "man"!
What are everyone's thoughts?

On the Day of Judgment will we be allowed representation? If we are allowed representation, how do you think I can get a hold of Johnnie Cochran to see if he'd represent me?
20 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoQuestions I'd like answered, only straight forward answers and not faith based ones like "I know in my heart
The only type of answers I've gotten have been "Trust in God, he'll show you the way"
1.Is it really possible for a being to give free will when they know all?
2.Why is god always given human traits(anger, spite, jealously, vanity)
3.Why would such a being require worship?
4.If God is perfect why did he have to start over, why not start with the humans after the flood?
5.Why is the god in the Old Testament so different than the New?
6.Why does the bible have so many contradictions?
7.A huge excuse for the believers about certain atrocious things that happened in the bible that wouldn't be allowed to happen now is that, "It was the times that they occurred in and we have to remember things were different then." If God is so perfect why now require the highest moral standard from the very beginnings?
