I am very familiar with expansion foam otherwise known as "Great Stuff"

But... I need help to figure out how to apply it to an area that I can not reach. How can I extend the reach so I can apply it approximately 10 feet away--more or less?

Is there some specific type of tubing that I can connect to the nozzle to extend the reach? If so, where can I get this and what size do I need?

Also, is there a way to clean out the nozzle and applicator so I can reuse it later?

I added a motor to my inflatable raft and in California you must register the boat when you do that. Now I don't want to use it with the motor anymore and want to unregister the boat and get rid of the motor. I can not find any information on the DMV website and I want to know in general what to do if I have to go to the DMV or If I can do this through the mail instead.

I am planting Scotts contractor mix grass seed. I spread compost I bought in bulk last week on top of my mostly clay soil about 1 to 2 inches thick. I did not till it in and cannot right now as I have no way to transport a tiller and services are charging too much.

Also, the compost was a bit warm at first but is now cool as it sat on the dirt for 2 days with cool temperatures and some rain.

So, in short, I need to know if I spread the seed on the compost bed, then cover with a compost/soil mix, then go over it with a roller and water it, will it germinate and grow?

I have called a few wholesalers like "Harvest Meats" in Sacramento but their prices are not much better than grocery store specials--probably because they mark it up as a retail sale

The instructions on the bag say to spread the seed then rake it in. But I feel like that will then mess up the evenness of the spread seed. Am I right?

I could buy top soil to throw over instead of raking it I guess but that would cost a lot because I am doing about 3000 square feet.

Under the green ground screw, there is a little brass tab piece which broke off and I need to know if this piece is needed when I screw the ground wire to the receptacle with the green screw.

I assume that even without the brass tab that the screw touches the ground wire and the screw hole thread is making the connection to the receptacle, right? Also, Could not having the brass tab cause the GFCI plug to think the plug is not grounded and trip regularly?

If the brass tab is needed, I assume I will have to throw away this plug and buy a new one.

I know the rest of the connections and how a GFCI works so this is all I need to know.

My Vet recommended this food to my dog who recently had surgery in his intestines. I have to give him wet canned Hills prescription ID formula and then he suggest the dry version thereafter for life. The dry version ingredients seem poor although the canned seems fine. However, it does not state what is in it as a treatment to his condition and or why it is good. Seems to me the dry food I feed now is superior in ingredients. Anyways, so.... what kind of medicinal ingredients (if any) is in this Hills ID prescription dog food?

I have a french drain and want to cover it with gravel and topped with flagstone/slate. I need to use sand in order to let water get through the joints then down to the drain. BUT, sand will allow the flagstone to move around.

SO... I heard Polymeric sand will hold it together better than sand... BUT... will Polymeric Sand allow the water through and if so what brand should I buy? I have seen it at Lowe's and Home depot but different brands.

I have a panasonic mini DV video camera that records onto those little DV tapes. I have a fire wire and used Windows movie maker and got some on my hardrive but the quality is so poor compared to watching it on my TV. Any good software out there whether free or not?
