I have a galaxy s4 active. I took it to the beach yesterday and into the water. I've had it in the water before with no problem, but yesterday it said there was an error and cut off. I opened it up and let it dry. When i turned it on later it kept saying it was over heating so i turned it off again. After i got home it turned on in safe mode, so i restarted it and everything was normal. The battery was low and i didn't have a charger so it died. When I tried to put it in later the screen would keep turning on for a second then turn off.. repeatedly. The charge light is not on and the phone will not turn on. I took it apart and there was white crust on the inside on a few parts, so I cleaned it off and tried again. Same thing. I'm thinking it months be the charge port? Or the battery. Any ideas? Please don't say put it in rice.

I have a 2003 ford taurus and lately the radio knob has been acting up. If I try to turn up the volume it goes down instead and vice versa. It seems to be getting progressively worse. Is there anyway to fix this? I don't think I can replace the whole radio because the face plate is attached to the air controls too.

I was wondering what the sate laws are concerning open containers in the car in Alabama. I always thought the driver got the ticket, but two of my friends keep telling me that it's the passengers that get in trouble and nothing happens to the driver. I find this hard to believe, but I've also heard the same thing concerning seat belts. I tried looking it up but haven't found anything about who gets the ticket.

I have a 2003 ford taurus. I was driving it last week and the car started shaking, like there was something wrong with the tire. My brakes are pretty good, but I noticed they were super tight, barely touching them almost stopped the car completely. When I got out I smelled something burning. Going home everything was normal. I had the same problem a couple days ago, only difference was I noticed the car was having trouble accelerating. Pedal was almost to the floor and was only doing 60. I haven't driven it since. Anyone have any ideas what it could be?

What kind of headlights do they put in the new cars? They are really bright and you can see everything.. I have a 2003 taurus with really dim lights and I live out in the country where there's no street lights and I feel like I can't see anything. I know some people with new cars and their lights are super bright, I was wondering if I could get some bulbs like that for my car, I'm not doing it for the look I just want to be able to see at night. I woke up one morning and my knee was really hurting, it hurts when I bend or extend my leg, or use the stairs. I thought it would go away after a while, but this has been going on for about a month, and it feels like it's getting worse. It's starting to hurt more when I walk, but I haven't done anything out of the ordinary, and it seems to be hurting in the same spot, like a tendon or ligament. Ice has not helped it. Any ideas what it could be? Please don't say go to the doctor I don't have insurance so I can't.

My brother is a huge classic horror movie buff, and he has alot of them in balck and white, but I'm looking for a movie pack that has the colorized versions. Mills Creek has 50, 100, and 250 packs but I think they are in b&w. Can anyone help?

My grandfather found his dad's old camera, it's a Kodak Junior six-20 series II NO. 0. The other number on it was 60386, I'm assuming this is the model number? I was just wondering if anyone knew the exact year they made these, It's late 30's to early 40's. I haven't been able to find a manual posted online for this exact model, and we also wanted to know how much it would be worth. The case is beat up, but the actual camera is in excellent condition. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I have a toshiba satellite a305 model, it's only about 4 years old. I had some problems with it and couldn't use it for about 3 months. I got it fixed a few weeks ago, brand new hard drive. Since I got it back, it keeps freezing when I move it. I have to restart it several times a day. It's not over heating, I have already done a registry cleaner, and there are no viruses according to the scans I've done.

I just discovered that the cd drive is no longer working. It was working the other day, playing the dvd with no problem. Now two of my media players are saying there is no cd drive, but I can hear it spinning when I first put it in. Does anyone know what it could be? and how it can be fixed, I need a free solution.

I have a toshiba satellite a305-s6905. It has bluetooth settings listed in the programs, but when I open it it tries to install a driver, and tells me to plug in some device. I tried googling how to work the bluetooth on my model and some say you have to open the "bluetooth stack" which is not on my computer, and others say there is no bluetooth because there's no antenna. Does anyone know if I have it and how to work it? If not is there some kind of external bluetooth antenna I can plug in to make it work?

I just got my male cat fixed about a week and a half ago. When I brought him home he didn't use the litter box for over a day, and when he finally did, he was urinating for about five minutes. When he got out, there was only a dime sized wet spot. He seemed like he was in pain, but I thought he would get better. I noticed they had made a small incision on his lower belly, so now I wonder if they thought he was a girl when they started the operation? Anyway, he is still having these problems should I call the clinic I took him to or wait it out to see if he gets better? Has anyone else experienced this? Oh and he is only about 5 to 6 months old.

I have trouble sleeping, and I wake up with bruises on my legs a lot. I'm wondering if this is a sign of sleepwalking? I don't bruise easily, and I never remember doing anything that would cause them during the day. I know that I talk in my sleep quite often, and I have woken up before sitting up in bed. I have also woken up to my self moving my arms while dreaming, like if I dreamed i was playing chess I'd wake up to myself acting like I'm moving the pieces. I have alot of bad dreams, too. Mostly people chasing me or trying to kill me, some of them reoccuring. They say you're supposed to feel well rested after you sleep, but I have NEVER felt that way. I always feel more stressed than I did during the day, even if I get in a solid 8 or 9 hours. I have had dreams that I'm sleep walking, and I'm wondering if they were more than just dreams? I don't have a video camera so please don't suggest that. does anyone know what might be causing these issues? no trolling please!

I'm thinking about getting a new camera. The one I have now is a 5 mp canon and it's 5 years old, and I have to replace the batteries alot because it drains them so quickly. I want a camera that takes good quality pictures, I would like one that can take pictures of night scenes, and not come out as a black photo. Also, when I zoom, it comes out a little fuzzy so I would like something that comes out clear, so if I take a picture from a plane or something it will come out clear. I don't need something top of the line, I don't have alot of money so I would get something that's an older model. Since technology is advancing so quickly I'm sure something a year old will do just fine. I know I won't find something really small and I'm ok with that. I'm not a professional, but would like something that will be good if I decide to make some money off of it. Does anyone know of a good site with some reviews? What is your preference? I'm looking for something under 200. Also thinking of looking on ebay but would like to know what some good cameras are. And what is a good number of mega pixels?

In your opinion, what is the best kind of horse for hunter jumper? I have been thinking about getting a horse and that is the type of riding i do, and wanted to know if there is a particular breed that is best for this style? What is the best type of saddle for this? i have always just used AP saddles in my lessons.

I havent ridden in a while because i just dont have the money so I'm not getting a horse anytime soon, just thinking way into the future. i really miss it. have any of you ever worked out a deal with the barn where you can work for cheaper/free lessons? i used to do it when i first started 8 years ago, but the guy couldnt afford the insurance (i was the only rider there) so i had to switch barns :(

Also, has anyone ever ridden in a mclellan military saddle? they are soooo comfortable!!! just wondering! My girlscout troop did a thing with the governors horse guard and we put together a drill for the governor. does anyone know if there are anyother states with an active mounted cavalry other than CT? its something ive thought about doing

my brother is 24 years old and lives at home with my parents, sister, and brother. He doesn't go out, he can't drive, and he has no friends. My parents treat him like a slave, mostly my dad, and my mom just goes along with it. If something has to be done, it's "oh i'll get matthew to do it, matt do this, matt do that", while my other brother and sister don't do much. My dad yells at him ALL the time, and cusses him out if he doesn't do something right or fast enough for him. He has pushed him around before and pulls him around by his arm like he's a little kid. And I know people are going to say "oh well he needs to earn his keep" because that's what my dad says all the time. But here's the thing, he has a slight form of autism and has difficult grasping certain concepts of how to do things. For example, he cuts the grass at our house, but cannot understand how to cut it in a pattern that will get all of it. He just rides around aimlessly and it leaves patches in the yard, which of course, my dad doesn't like. He receives a disability check for 700 dollars every month, however my parents take the check and put it in their account and give him 100 from it. My mom says the money is supposed to be for things like food and clothes, which they buy. But the thing is, they don't buy him clothes, or shoes, or even to get his hair cut. The food they buy is food they want, and we're only allowed to eat certain things, because most of the food they get is just for them. "It's too good to waste on kids" (might I add that 3/4 of these "kids" are in their 20s!) it's been this way forever. So if he wants something for himself, he has to take it from his allotted 100 and buy it, (it's usually food). My dad monitors his bank account and tells him what he should and shouldn't be buying and yells at him when his money gets low. My dad buys useless things all the time, and he has his bank account set up so that when it overdrafts it pulls from Matt's and he uses his money (because its a joint account), and then after his is gone, it came from mine. He over drafted so much that he sucked matthew's account dry and spent 800 from mine (i had JUST made it to 1000. something i was proud of. for a day.) I have since closed that account and opened one with just my name. My brother gets frustrated very easily, and has run away a few times, although he doesn't get far because he can't drive. But that's just the beginning. I could write a book on the crap we had to put up with. I moved out a month ago because I just couldn't deal with my family anymore. But I want to get him out of that situation too. I think he would be better off living in an assisted living facility or something like that.

So here's my question. Do I need to report my parents to whoever is over his disability stuff? I don't want a lawsuit against them, I don't know if they would sue them for the money they took from him. I just want them to stop doing that, because it belongs to him, and I don't think he should be treated as a live in slave just because he doesn't have a job. Would something like this go to court because of how he gets abused and treated? If need witnesses my grandmother knows what goes on and so does my boyfriend. I don't know if my brother and sister would help. DHR has come before (because of something i said at school in 7th grade that got reported, which WAS true by the way) but of course everyone acted like we were the perfect family. It was determined that i made everything up for attention. I just want to know what steps I should take to get him out of there. Of course before I actually report something I'm going to see what he wants to do. I would just like to research some things and present him with some options. I'm just not sure where to find this info. Is this something a social worker would help me with? Would medicaid cover an assisted living place? If you know of anything I could do to help him please let me know!! What would you do?

PS "talking" to my parents isn't going to help so please don't suggest it. They are selfish, ignorant people who do things to benefit themselves.

I recently drove my car from alabama to south dakota, and now it is making this jerking feeling, kind of like somthing is hitting the car from behind. it only does it while its in gear, not park. I got the oil changed on the way here, but it hadnt been serviced in a year :/ any suggestions as to what it might be? its a 2003 ford taurus
