  • My dog broke a plate while we were gone...?

So my big berner broke a saucer we had up on shelf while we were gone today. We got home about 2 hours ago and my husband noticed the saucer had fallen and was broken. We found all but about a 2 inch section of the saucer and have searched the garage all over without finding the other piece. Our berner typically does not eat things, but I am concerned he could have eaten the piece of the plate. Do I need to call the local animal hospital (our vet is not on call this weekend, I already tried to call his office) or should I wait until 7 am to call him?

  • Planning a trip and unsure if we need to take anything besides our Driver's License as proof for TSA?

Which is in 4 weeks. I know we don't need passports as it is US territory, but do we need to take anything besides our state driver's licenses? The reason I ask is, my husband has "misplaced" his birth certificate along the way and I didn't know if we need to rush order a certified copy. I have heard I should take take a certified copy of our marriage license and my birth certificate since my name has legally changed. Is that correct?

  • How do i find out if i missed a jury duty?

I got married in April and moved to a new county in the same state. I did not know I had to fill out a new voter registration for my new address. I am scared now that I could have possibly missed getting called for jury duty even though I had my mail forwarded. Is there anyway I could figure that out?

  • Gallbladder Removal and Weight loss/gain?

I am having my gall bladder removed. My aunt and grandfather had theirs removed years ago and have no long lasting issues. I am concerned because I have read online that some people gain A LOT of weight after surgery. I am already 5'4 and 169 lbs. So a size 10-11 and I don't need to gain anymore weight. My aunt suggested that having it removed might help me lose weight actually. I am just concerned as to what I need to do to keep from gaining a lot of weight. I will be on a low to no fat diet after surgery and will cut out dairy and meat and be on essentially a vegan diet. But what else can I do to keep from gaining a lot of weight.

  • Is my husband going to get in trouble?

Okay so one year ago by husband, fiance at the time, and I were eating at a resturaunt where his exgirlfriend worked. She lived in the same neighborhood as a us at the time and saw us walking our dog that morning, got upset and had us banned from the resturaunt and a police report was made. Anyway the police basically told us to make sure not to come back to the resturaunt and to stay away from her. So we did, we haven't been back to the resturaunt and we bought a house and moved to a new neighborhood on the other side of town. Well today, I was going through our facebooks and twitters blocking people. On her twitter, when I was on his account, I accidently hit follow instead of block. I unclicked it and clicked block. I know that she will get an email saying his user name is following you. I feel awful and am afraid she will call the police and he will get some kind of charges on him for harassing or stalking her or something. We haven't seen her in a year and it was accident. I am so scared now that my husband will get in trouble. I want to send her an email and tell her what happened, but then I will be making contact with her. What do we need to do?

  • I can't vote because I moved to another county in the same state and didn't know to reregister?

I am so freaking mad. I did not know I had to reregister to vote. I knew if I moved states I did but didn't know I did if I moved into another county. It is such crap. I am so mad that I wasn't made aware of this #1 and #2 that I can't freaking vote! Such bull. I registered when I was 18 and just because I got married and moved 20 minutes down the road I can't freaking vote!!!

  • When should I test (or should I even bother now)?

Today I am 12 dpo. On days 5-7 I had headaches. I had some pulling cramping feelings on days 8-9. Then on days 10-11 I had dark/prominent blue veins in my breasts and soreness at the sides of my breasts. Also yesterday cervix was so high I could barely reach it and I had white lotiony CM on my hand after I checked my cervix (TMI I know!)/ This morning (12 dpo) I woke up and nothing. No cramping, no head ache, no breast soreness and the blue veins are back to normal color. Is there any point in me testing now or am I out for this month. I was going to test tonight and maybe Sunday morning because then I will be 14 dpo. I was just so excited when I saw the deep blue veins as I have heard that is a definite sign of pregnancy and I have not had that in the 6 months we have been actively TTC. I just feel down in the dumps since I woke up and all this stuff is gone and I haven't had a bit of nausea.

  • We can't find baby furniture we like?

We are currently TTC and are in the process of creating our baby budget to prep ourselves for the cost of a baby so we aren't unable to afford everything when the time comes. So as we are working on our budget we are trying to find furniture we like (Convertible crib, changing table that converts to dresser later, and chest of drawers or armoire). Any suggestions about where to look besides Baby's R Us, JC Penney, and Restoration Hardware in the Nashville area would be awesome

  • Can we sue the builder to get another electrician paid for?

So in our house, we have had issues since about the second month we have lived here with the electric.. Basically every few weeks, the power will go off in our living room. I am concerned this is a fire hazard adn we have requested the builder honor our one year warranty and fix this. So the builder and is electrician came out four times over 8 months and it still isn't resolved. I think it is time to call in another electrician for a second opinion but the builder refuses to pay for this. Also, our warranty runs out in December. Will he still be responsible if he doesn't resolve the issue before then.

  • Could I still be pregnant?

So I am having a real weird period. It was five days late and started as spotting. Now I am only bleeding when I wipe no need for tampon/pad and no blood on underwear. I took at test at three days left and it was negative (digital test). I took two more later that day and they were negative. I had nausea and threw up twice between days 4 and 5 late. Today is day six late and I have slept 12 hours, am very tired, and feel sick everytime I eat. I have light brownish pink bleeding only when I wipe still.

Also my breasts are starting to feel heavy and sore, I'm a little crampy feeling, I have had some major heartburn/acid reflux feelign going on which isn't normal for me and i feel weird if I lay on my stomach at bedtime. • Is it okay to take two sick days for a sinus infection?

I took off sick yesterday to go to the doctor cause I felt bad for about 4 days already. The doctor said I had a sinus infection, fluid behind my ears, and irritation in my throat due to drainage and possible spread of infection. The doctor said I could return to work today if I felt up to it, but I don't. Is it bad to call in sick two days in a row for a sinus infection. I literally feel like I am too weak to get up and move from the bed to the couch let alone drive 30 min to work and work with kids all day.
