My cat (a 10 year old persian mix) is gonna have three teeth pulled out, and she's a picky eater to begin with, she likes wet food that comes in little packets and never eats twice from the same canned food even if it's the same brand as the packets. I feed her Whiskas biscuits,but she's unable to chew properly (teeth\gum problems, hence the teeth removal), I tried wetting her food so she can chew it better, but she doesn't even come remotely near it, even if she doesn't eat all day. I tried using a bit of chicken broth instead of warm water but to no avail.

Those little packets are expensive, but I want my cat to eat properly, I'm helpless, and I don't feel comfortable feeding her tuna most of the time as I read very contradicting things about it.

She doesn't like anything but raw minced meat, she'd never eat cooked beef\chicken\fish.

how can I keep her diet balanced without hurting my finances too much?

Any help or shared experience would be much appreciated.

First of all my position in the company is still unclear so the boss likes to throw different unrelated tasks at me, which I accomplish in the required time, as flawlessly as humanly possible.

His assistant, keeps passing me unrelated personal work to accomplish as well.

As far as I was able to tell, they never had any complaints about my performance, and if they did they always voiced, and I took care of it accordingly.

There will be a new section in our company, and the person in charge asked my boss to include me in that project, he also told him how much faith and trust he has in me. I have received a cc e-mail from the guy announcing the commencement of the project, asking the boss to put me in charge of my expertise area.

As we both received the mail around the same time (my boss and I), I was unlucky enough to hear him voice his discontent to his assistant about the part related to me, and said I was not qualified, and that I was too conservative , and not experienced enough (he clearly stated that I have potential and that I SHOULD expand).

His "conservative" is because I clearly voiced I cannot accept work during the weekend (I do not get paid for any overtime- unlike my colleagues)

as for the experience, I am the only person in the department who's fluently trilingual enough to handle that position, which is why he transferred me (according to his story) to my current department in the first place.

our offices are separated by thin partitions so I didn't really have a choice in Not overhearing the conversation.

I am very upset, and I feel that I have been unfairly judged, and all my work has been overlooked.

Now I feel that the only reason my contract has still remained vague is because I can be used to finish up all the boring tasks anyone else cannot be arsed to do. (excuse my language.. I cannot put it differently). I know I cannot walk up to either of them and just ask what's wrong with my work, however, I NEED to prove them wrong, but I cannot just wave my work in their faces either.

I am lost honestly am getting mixed signals all the time, and I am on the verge of quitting.

Will imports from japan now decline? If so, what are the items that are most likely to be affected? And more importantly, will the governments be overreacting if they chose to curb japanese goods?

So I found an image that I want to display in my e-mail signature, but its from the wikipedia website, the image itself doesn't link to anything. Does that still count as hotlinking? (I am no expert but I expect the bandwidth is still being used everytime someone reads my sent mail.)

I am not sure how to call a "business card" in this case but:

So I am graduating university by the end of this year (after 3 years in Business and Languages at a French University), and I will need to start re-polishing my CV and all, question is, I would like to get myself a few cards that I can give out to potential employers (I tend to meet a lot of people from different companies), so instead of pestering them into giving me their cards\numbers I would like to take initiatives and give out mine, on the hope they would be interested and give me theirs back (naturally, after I've had a meaningful "small talk" and assume that they like me, I am not gonna throw myself at them threatening to paper cut them O_O).

So what I am getting at is: should I get those cards printed? if so, would having my name and phone number and e mail be enough for now?

My sister is 4 years younger than me, and I am 23 years old, due to a situation I had, I ended up in the same university as her, ever since, my parents expected me to become her baby sitter\ watcher...etc. Yet, they expected me also to be on perfect terms with her. having started out at the same period means we ended up with lots of mutual friends, so in short I am stuck with her on a daily basis.

-She gets upset if i go out with one of our friends during the day, even if she had classes.

-She constantly preaches me (despite being the sloppy one at home, in EVERYTHING including her way of life)

-she thinking she knows what's best for me and she knows about life more than i do. ( I lived away from home for about a year, and traveled constantly and stayed alone for a while)

- she would NEVER admit she 's wrong, even If I face her with all the facts, actually, she would turn it against me, when all fails, victimize herself.

-She wouldn't mind badmouthing me to dad whenever possible, making him vent his anger at me (we have quite a difficult father, and that's another issue)

-She is rather fond of mocking me and everything I do or say, from my accent to the way I walk (I am just as normal as the next person, mind you)

And many other things that frustrate me on a daily basis.

I have tried being her friend, and treating her nicely, and in an utmost understanding way, she still managed to find fault, and when i did things out of goodwill (like making her breakfast and preparing packed lunch or buying her things and lending her money when she doesnt have any-she's a big spender, and mom and dad constantly reprimand her for it) At a fight we had, she simply said "Who asked you to make it for me?" In an utmost bit*hy way. And well, it left any of my arguments invalid. There is just too much to say about this, she simply left me sucked out of my energy. she is bossy, insensitive, selfish, and childish yet claims herself to be the most mature person around. and we all are in a constant worry and chasing after with a safety net. And no...not a hint of gratitude- I am not asking for a "THANK YOU!" .. all I ask for is a proper treatment. we used to be friends before I went away for a year to study, long ago. Any suggestions on how I can deal with it, at least until I move out?

After I installed the IMVU update 418 (or 19) not sure, I had a power shortage and had to restart my laptop, when i tried to start imvu to download the update again, I only got the {it appears that imvu has crashed...}message, I clicked "yes", and the message appeared again until i clicked "no", i tried uninstalling imvu and deleting all imvu files, and reinstalling imvu, but i kept getting the same error. I also tried installing older versions of imvu from the "Download history" page. But the problem persists. what is going on exactly? and what can i do?

I have an exam in Lexical aspect, and i understood that there are relations such as "Ablative, Perlative, Vectorial", but i am having trouble understanding what Avectorial is.

Alright, this might seem a little retarded but, the Etisalat people came and installed what looked like a hub in my house, and i have no idea what I am supposed to do with it, more like, what does it do? and does that mean I can use it instead of my router? If so, how?

i have deleted the dial up connection and set the internet option to never dial a connection, but i cant browse the internet "internet explorer" even though my wireless dsl is connected..i tried turning on and off the router..am seriouly becoming frustrated, any help\suggestion would be marvellous..thx

i have successfully detected my wireless dsl network on my windows xp laptop, but i still cant connect to the internet, i keep getting that dial up [username\password] i tried setting the option to "never dial a connection" but i still have the same problem, anyway, my internet connection is present judging by the icon in the system tray, but i cant browse the interner [its internet explorer] anyone here to help this damsel in distress?

i ve roaming for ages! i cant seem to find anything...any hinst would be appreciated!

did anyone else notice that hotmail, netlog, facebook, even yahoo mail, seem to be behaving strangely? no pictures, just plain old website with red Xs everywhere? WHAT IS GOING ON? i tried everything with my pc , but it turned out to be happening also to some of my friends too..anyone ? anyone at all?
