I have a cleft chin.. And i'm female :(?
Hi.
I'm generally an insecure person as it goes, but my clef chin just makes it soo much worse.
I can't help but sterotype it as being masculine, and along with my strong square jaw , i just feel i look like a dude.
I have other feminie features, such as my eyes - but i wear glasses which mask them. And i have long hair. But appart from that, i feel facially i look masculine.
Is there any way i can get rid of the clef chin? Or to help reduce it?
Iv'e tried makeup.. not sure what else to do. :(

8 AnswersAdolescent1 decade agoI need help..............?
Not sure where to start. I'm fairly depressed. I have been for years. I have alot of problems with family life, and i always have with school. I was really badly bullied and never had friends , so i have incredibly low self esteme. I really think i am worth nothing. I try really hard to be accepted, but i never can i. I was homeschooled at 14 because i had a breakdown and was diagnosed with depression. It was a relief, but it has left me with issues. I have developed a social phobia, in which i can't speak to people, not only new people ,but even my relitives.

Here's a pic of me . It's incredibly uplose, but that's just to show my other facial piercings.
7 AnswersOther - Skin & Body1 decade agoStarting new job in 2 days...... feeling nervous?
Hi. I'm 16, and about to start my first job on Monday.
I recently did my GCSE's , although they were sat at home, as i have been homeschooled for over 2 years.
I managed the interview , although i felt relived as it was only one person i had to talk to. Now i'm starting to feel nervous, as i know i will need to communicate and speak with others.
Because i was home tutored, i do suffer from low self esteme, and i find it difficult to meet new people. I tend to suffer worse when there are crowds - and the workplace i'm going into is medium sized, with a fair amount of people .
Any advice on how i can attempt to over-come this for Monday?
Thanks.

But i have noticed for the last few days, iv'e had brownish stuff in my underwear... i have no idea what it is , or why it's there.
I have taken the pill correctly, and iv'e not experienced this in the 3 months iv'e been on it.

5 AnswersWomen's Health1 decade agoHelp =/ ????
Hiya. Well about 2 years ago, i met a good friend of mine (called Shaun) over the net. We have been speaking for 2 years , and i trusted him quite alot. I met him when i was 14 years of age, he told me he was 15. We met on a kids/teens site.
Anyway. 2 days ago, he dropped a pretty shocking bombshell that he lied about his age. He's acutually just turned 21, not 17 as i had been led to believe.
I obviously was/am really shocked about it, and was upset that he had lied to me. He seemed very sorry for it ,but said he understood if i blocked him and never spoke to him again.
I dont know what to do. I do concider him a good friend. He was never pervy or anything, we just chatted. I just dont know if i should continue to speak to someone who lied to me for so long, or give him the benifit of the doubt and keep being mates.
Advice?
2 AnswersFriends1 decade agoQuestion about homosexuality in Christianity.?
Hi. I recently did my GCSE in religious studies, and Christianity was one of the main religions i was studying.
On the topic of homosexuality, i found it rather confusing. I did research , but i'm not sure if it's true, so hense i'm asking on here.
I have read that some Christians belive homosexuality is wrong, because it states so in the Bible, and so is seen as a sin
I have read that some Christians dont mind homosexuality , because God made everyone equally, and that He forgives everyone, and so other Christians should be able to see past the fact that people are homosexual, and look at them as people.
Just wondering if this is really a realistic opinion comming from a Christian? I mean it as a general statement, because it didn't state it was a opinion shared by a certain denomination.
Thanks for any answers.
Sorry if it's alittle confusing - i wrote it the best i could.
17 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoQuestion about the pill?
Hi. I whent on the pill 2 months ago (for pms).
The brand i have been put on , are specifically used to help with pms, and so are high in hormones.
Anyway, i came onto a period 3 days ago. Before i began taking the pill, i had heavy-ish periods and alot of painful cramps. Now, iv'e had less cramps, but more bleeding.
My doctor never said/warned me of this, so i'm just wondering if it had happened to anyone else?
I have taken the pills as directed, and so there shouldnt be anything wrong. Just i'm alittle confused, as my doctor told me it would make me bleed less
:S
14 AnswersWomen's Health1 decade agoQuestion about the pill?
Hi, i whent on the pill about 2 months ago. My last period was alot lighter ,and alot less painfull ( i was put on the pill for PMS)
Anyawy, i came onto another yesterday, and it's been really really heavy. Iv'e had some cramps and pains, although they havent been too severe. However, it seems that i'm bleeding more than i usuall would. just wondering if this is normal? or happened to anyone else?
I have taken them as instructed. I'm just alittle confused, because the doctor said the pill would leave me in less pain, and i wouldnt be bleeding so much.
2 AnswersWomen's Health1 decade agoAnyone else find it concerning, how children are having sex?
Hiya. I was just reading through a few questions, which were from children as young as 11, saying they were prengnat and asking for advice.
I really get shocked by such statements. I know when i was 11, i was more intrested in computer games ,or music, or going to the park. I never once thought about boys even at that age, let alone having sex.
I think it's a sad reality, because children should be children while they still are. I'ts the same when i see 8 year olds in high heels, and really short skirts. I just wonder what's happening to society.
25 AnswersAdolescent1 decade agoQuestion about Islam?
Hi. My friend is Muslim . He recently told me that he is very proud to be Muslim ,and is quite religious in that respect. However, he did say that he would marry a athiest if he really loved her, but wouldn't give up being Muslim.
Now correct me if i'm wrong here, but it'snt it true that a Muslim man cannot marry a athiest? She has to be Christian ,Jewish or Muslim?
Thank you .
18 AnswersRamadan1 decade agoHelp ? Over protective father?
Hi. i'm 16 years old, pretty mature and resonsible.
My father is 66 years old . VERY old fashioned.
My father is highly overprotective. Although i realise he was brought up in a era where men were more dominant, he hasn't adapted to the "new" way of thinking. He really sees me as incabable. He wont let me go out beyond 6pm, and i'm not allowed to be friends with any males.
I have always been well behaved. Iv'e not been having underage sex, or drinking, smoking, or anything of the sort. But he is adimant that if i befriend a male, it will turn into a sexual relationship , from which i will get pregnant.
As i said, i realise this is just looking out for me, but it really makes me mad - especially at the fact he's so hypocritical. When he was 16, he got a 15 year old girl pregnant. And yes, he's trying to get me to learn from my mistakes. But it means i cant be friends with ANY males, just because of his mistakes.
Any suggestions on how to make my dad realise i'm not immature?

18 AnswersOther - Beauty & Style1 decade agoWhat should i do?
Hi. i'm 16, and have been going out with my boyfriend Sam (15) for over a year now. We have had some really good times in our relationship. Around 3 months into the relationship, i found out that Sam is autistic, although not severe. This didnt bother me, so it just carried on. One of his symptoms is quite bad anger problems. He gets very angry, really easily . And if he's fustraited at other things, he takes it out on me (verbally). It's mentally draining if i'm honest. Iv'e had stressfull exams and other stuff going on in my life.
When i suggested maybe we take some time not seeing eachother ,he gets very upset, as he likes routine, and he just doesnt like the idea of space. When i have suggested we break up, he says that he will kill himself , which on one occassion almost happened, so i got back with him to prevent him hurting himself.
I wanna be there for him , but i dont know if i can. there is no cure for his anger problems. He has gone to classes, and tried medication
3 AnswersSingles & Dating1 decade agoScared. Advice?
Hi. I'm really late on a period, which isnt really normal for me {i'm usually pretty regular}
Anyway, i took 2 pregnacy tests, which both came out negative.
Anyway, i'm just really scared because i'm 16, with incredibly strict parents. I know if i am pregnant, they will kill me. i'll be in so much trouble
And please, dont tell me to "keep my legs shut " or something. Protection was used, just it broke =/ and we didnt realise till after.
It's even more gutting, because i now have the pill, to find that i've missed a few periods :(
3 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoCan home pregnacy tests be wrong?
Hi. I recently havent really felt myself. I have looked up pregnacy symptoms, and i have hardly any of them. I have missed a period however, and so i took a pregnacy test.
It came out negative.
That was a few days ago, and it still hasnt come.
I used a brand which is supposed to be quite accurate, but i'm just wondering if pregnacy tests can give a unaccurate result??
Thanks
8 AnswersPregnancy1 decade agoWhy does my lip bar keep comming out?
I had my lip pierced 3 weeks ago (professionally) and ever since i've had problems with it. I've had to buy several lip bars , amounting to over £20 so far, because the balls constantly fall off. They litrally are fine for a few days, and then they come off and i cant find them.
Iv'e always ensured the ball is secured tightly. I clean my lip peircing as instructed, and i buy bars that are long enough for the size gauge my lip was pierced at. Yet it keeps comming off all the time.
It just recently happenend to me ,and i'm sick of it. I returned to my piercer the other day for advice. She just told me to do as i have been, and that there isnt much of a solution to it.
I'm now having to wear a ring in my lip - but i would rather a stud if i'm honest.
Please dont tell me to take it out. I love the piercing itself , just the situation with the bar is a nightmare
any addvice?
4 AnswersOther - Skin & Body1 decade agoParents : Is it ok to give you'r teen alcohol?
Even if it is .. in small doses.
I'm just curious. I know many parents who will give their 14/15 year old's alcohol - sometimes for example , 2/3 cans of lager. Which is way over the daily amount recomended for a adult.
Although it's pretty harmless, and if they are in you'r supervision.. it is still breaking the law.
so my question is.. is it morally ok to give you'r teen alcohol under age? and if so, why?
