Okay so theres only 4 questions and they all have a diagram but i hope with the written info you will have enough to go on.

1) From a point A on level ground the angle of elevation of the top of a tower |BC| is 40°. On walking 50m towards the tower, the angle of elevation is now 60°.

FIND CORRECT TO THE NEAREST METER:

(i) |CD|

(ii) the height of the tower |BC|

Two light house P and Q are 73km apart. Another lighthouse, R, is situated 52km from Q.

If |<RPQ| = 31.5°, Find:

(i) |<PRQ|, correct to the nearest degree.

(ii) |PR|, correct to the nearest kilometer.

ABC is a triangle and D is on the line BC. If |BD| = 4cm, |AC| = 6cm, |<ACD| = 65° and |<DAC| = 70°, Find.

(i) |DC|, correct to the nearest cm.

(ii) the area of ABC, correct to the nearest cm2.

The diagram shows two parallel banks of a river. The angles from two points R and S on one bank to a tree on the opposite bank are 38° and 47°, as shown.

Find correct to the nearest metre

(i) the distance from R to the tree

(ii) the width, w, of the river.

1) Draw a sketch of the circle x² + y² = 16.

The circle intersects the y-axis at the points P and Q.

(i) Find the coordinates of P and Q.

(ii) Find |PQ|

2) X² + Y² = 18

The point (4,k) is outside the circle. Find the least value of k, if K E N.

okay so i am completely lost dunno what to do with the following:

1. (i) L is the line x-2y+5=0 and K is the line 3x+y-6=0 , Find the coordinates of A, the point of intersection of L and K.

(ii) L and K cut the x-axis at B and C, respectively. Find the coordinates of B and C.

(iii) Find the area of triangle ABC.

2. L: x+2y+2=0 and K: 2x-y+9=0 are two lines.

(i)Verify that P(4, -3) is on l.

(ii) Prove that L perpendicular to K

(iii) Find the coordinates of Q, the point of intersection of L and K.

(iv) Find the coordinates of R, the pont where K cuts the y-axis.

(v) Prove that |PQ| = |QR|.

(vi) Calculate the area of triangle PQR.

3. K is the line 3x-y-8=0

(i) Verify that (2, -2) is on k

(ii) Find the coordinates of the point where k crosses the y-axis

(iii)Find the equation of the line L containing the point (-3, 3 ) if K is perpendicular to L.

(iv) Find the coordinates of the point where L crosses the y-axis.

(v) K intersected with L = (p). Find the coordinates of P.

(vi) Find the area of the triangle formed by the lines L, k and the y-axis.

Okay its sounds so weird but my cousin just give me some clothes she doesnt want and 1 item of clothing was a vest or tank top which is really nice and i want to wear it. its so frustrating because the straps which are thick enough and tangled like coiled round its hard to explain but i need to get it flattened out and untangeled how the hell do i start? sorry if this seems stupid im just really wanna no what to do thanks for any help like people who has come across this before please answer thanks again x

okay everytime i press the camera button at the side it wont work ive taken my battery in and out read dozens of reviews bout it online too but still i dunno what 2 do! What are your suggestions to anything i can do ? and how the hell did the camera just decide not to work? urgh its so annoying as i really needed to use it today ! Thanks for any help ! ok i like this guy and he likes me i started chatting him on fb and in class his friends were always askin me to go with him like make out but i didnt cuz i was scared they were messing but then he asked for my number and for like 3 weeks we were texting every night and talking bout everything and we were at a disco in town and i made out with him and he told me how he really liked me and siad we will c what happes and now were back at school and he is a shy guy but all his friends make such a big deal everytime i say hi to him or pass like shout his name my name whistle ect and he hasnt been chatty at all and he asked me u not talking to me i siad i am but i cant really get a chance because even if i say hi his friends go so hyper like woohoo ect and i cant get the chance to get him on his own he is always with his friends im just afraid he is gone off me cuz hes not that chatty i dunno what to do ?oh by the way im 17 hes 16 his name is Luke i really like him :(

i like this guy but i heard he has a rep 4 being a cocky ******** but he seems nice i dont belive everything i hear so i wanna give him a chance but i have only talked to him once on facebook random add the i heard he siad something bad about me so i deleted him but then i found out he never siad that i like him so much it would be weird if i went up and started saying hi i he might like me he stares alot but i cant be shure i wanna play it abit cool cuz he knows i like him and how do i go about getting him to talk to me or what should i look out 4 to know if he likes me iiii just dont know :(im 17 btw

Ok well i bought a pair of killer high heels and there about 4inchs and really start to hurt the ball of my feet when i walk and just stand in them about the house and yes they do have a thin heel so that makes them worse!But they look lovely and match my outfit! I have heard that they sell really good gel cushions called Foot Petals but i think thats only in America. i havent worn them out yet but im planning to at the weekend i dont want them to spoil my night so can you please help me out thanks !! p.s i hear that rubbery gel pads are not reccomended like Scholls party feet!

okay well the story is my 2 girl dogs both had pups and they have before i know....i know... i need to get them neutered ! so they both had there litters withen 2 days of each other so both litters are 2 weeks old and 1 or 2 days whatever. so both where born at 2 different sides of a hay shed and now they need to be moved to the front of the shed because the hay has to go in at the back wher the pups are now in! the plan is to move them today they have there eyes open and are quiet awake but they are very Screamish at time when u touch them but they have to get used to humans ! you see the only problem is that 1 dog isnt a very good mother to her litter of 5 she didnt take to them at the start so will she reject them if we move them? and the other dog is a very good mother and only has 3 pups so we arent very worried about her ... Please let me know what you think and your experience with pups or whatever... Thanks so much xxx
