i just wanna get a small tattoo that reads around the wrist or just maybe on one side, but i'm not sure if it'll affect my enlistment. it's not vulgar or even a design, just a short saying

I'm confident I injured (not necessarily tore) my STL, I don't have health insurance so please nobody mention seeing a doctor. If anyone has good advice for recovery, your input would be appreciated. Like I said, I doubt it's torn; possibly sprained or just pulled out of place. It only hurts when I'm running/jogging and it's an 8.5 on the official "1-10 healthcare scale", if that's any help..

Specialtactics.com has a very basic outline of the first 2 days physical requirements, but if any indoc survivors remember a rough outline of the full first week and all the requirements it'd be helpful. I'm going straight to indoc from basic so I know I'll be out of shape due to the AFs low physical standards - I'm not scared or hesitant, I'd just like to be prepared.

Does it matter if I score a 320 when the requirement is only 270 on the pararescue PAST? Do I get any more priority to get into indoc or any sign on bonuses? Thanks for the help... -KJ especially

I know the majority of the boys washout in the pool, but is there one certain point where they break or does it just depend on the individual person? I live in CA and surf every day, I'm confident in water and have done some big wave surfing and been in some rough situations. I'm not sure if most of the guys that join just buckle under the stress of being drowned or if they can't meet the physical requirements.. Any seasoned PJ's have any advice or info? AND I have of course done PLENTY of reading and research already and passed the PAST test no prob. I'd just like to be prepared before I go in there.

ALSO does anyone have any advice for the moments of "full harassment"?

I've grown weary of the all the secular bands with crappy repetitive lyrics. Or maybe I've just grown tired of hearing PEOPLE in general? I dunno and truly don't care, I just want some good instrumental music! I'm a big fan of Explosions in the Sky, Thee Silver Mt. Zion, kinda stuff if that helps..

I know there will inevitably be a buncha stupids that decide to advertise their lack of an IQ by saying Britney Spears or something to that degree, but if we could try to keep those kinds of comments to a minimal and "save the trees" I'd be forever grateful.

I'm 20.. I'm smart and had a full ride for track to UCSD, but I recently got hurt. I'm now broke and can't find a job or any other financial aid.. Guess it's time to put in my time for "The Uncle" and join the military. My dad was a Colonel in the USAF, and says to go for that (of course).. I was just checkin to see if anyone else likes their branches though, or IF you are USAF why you think I should join.. I've done my research as to which each one has to offer, but I'm just not looking to be ignorant and listen to my father; since everyone has their own opinions.. Thanks for the input & God Bless!

Not that I don't appreciate all the answers the yahoo community gives, but this isn't a vote or comity and one only needs to hear a certain answer once. Why is it the majority of "us", if I need be included, give the same answer as the last 10 people that answered? Do you not all think it would be wise to either give an answer that hasn't been brought up yet or just not bother wasting our precious time?

Hi, I'm a 20 year old college student that just moved to Portland. I'd like to get involved with a church here but like to stay clear of the real formal ones. I know this is a long shot but anyone have any suggestions?

The title pretty much says it... I'm 20, I'm a server, and I need to know what I need to do to be able to serve drinks at my current and unfortunate age. My 20 year old friend was able to take a class or something and can serve drinks now at his work but I don't have his number and I need to know by today. I live in San Diego if that helps any with the rules or laws?

I just want a normal Windows XP theme, but whenever I turn the pc on it comes up with the classic list instead of just icons with pics. Also, when i go to the start menu my small default picture isn't in the top right corner like it should be. I have XP Pro installed SP3 installed, I just noticed the problem roughly a week ago. I'm fully capable of messing with OS's but lately I've been completely stupid (possibly too much drugs). In any case, I can't solve this, probably very simple, problem. Thus I humbly present it to the Yahoo Answers Community.

Hi, my father's a colnel in the USAF but I've found the Marines to be the appropriate choice for me. Before I sign the next 4 years of my life away I was wondering if anyone knew the best or most efficient route in becoming an officer. I'm 20 years old and have roughly 1.5 years worth of college done. My GPA isn't outstanding, so I'd like to know if there are any ways around having a 4 year degree that will land me a spot in officer training? Any help would be appreciated,

Hi, I'm a 20 year old student wanting to join the peace corps... I know all the stats about the average age and education level. I've done plenty of research and know that I want to and am fully willing and able to dedicate 2 years of my life serving the world with whatever petty stuff I can do.

MY QUESTION - What are my chances of getting in and getting an okay job without a degree? I work in a hospital as a CNA and nearly have my managerial bussiness degree but haven't graduated yet. Don't be the stupid person that's always logical and tell me to graduate then think about it. I'm sure of my descision and know my circumstances better than you. I want to do this. Period.

Any ex-volunteers know my chances of getting accepted? -I've filled out the HUGE application and am just anxious to see what my odds are?

I know all of you are gonna write back that it's either a vacuum hose or fuel sending problem... I DONT CARE. I'm a mechanic and know all about this mumbo jumbo.

I NEED a BMW Mechanic that knows the "habits" of this particular model to let me know what the problem usually is. If you dont have experience with this model of car please don't waste your time... Thank You.

-i cleaned out the vacuum hoses and checked for leaks already.. it sputters and has a MEAN hesitation off the line and gets worse when it warms up. It is running lean... Aaaaand i cleaned out all the intake parts. beside the throttle body...

Please BMW TECH's.. guide me oh masters.. haha
