I brought bed bugs home from a vacation house a month ago, and had to sanitize my room. I washed everything I could on high heat in the washer, threw out my mattress, vacuumed and used beg bug spray on everything including the floor. I have yet to buy a new mattress and I'm sleeping on the floor weeks afterward, and I just started getting the same bites. So far it all has been isolated to my room, as no other family members have bites, but I just need to know if this is common and what I need to do differently to ensure that they don't come back this time.

This Sunday at church I was given a lessen in "morally vetting" candidates which included a heavily biased chart telling everyone that if they actually put their god first, they would vote one way. I didn't think this blatant use of religion in politics would happen in an inner city church in a highly libertarian state (nevada). I was kind of offended and I wondered if anybody else had a similar experience this election season.

I am going into my senior year and I applied for the nrotc scholarship. I am going to apply to rutgers university, and plan to major in a tier 2 study.

My gpa is only a 3.26 unweighted (3.9 weighted), but I have taken almost all honors classes and took/will take three AP classes. My SAT score was a 740-math 620-reading and a 660-writing. I didn't study hard though, and I am retaking the SAT as well as the ACT in september and october.

I was on the swim team for a couple of years, but did not have a leadership role.

I was on the yearbook staff for one year, have various volunteer activities, and am deeply involved in my choir. I have started my own a cappella club and am going to be a leader next year.

I am also very far on my journey to becoming a scuba diving instructor, and have been doing that actively.

I have a pretty strong essay so I'm not TOO worried about that, but my gpa and lack of leadership roles might bring me down.

I should be considered in September, and I was considering waiting a year to enter college and applying as early as possible. I will have better grades and more accomplishments as well.

Do you think I can get the scholarship? do you think I can get into Rutgers at least and try to get contracted in ROTC later?

Republicans: Is he a dangerous radical bent on ruining America? Is he a stubborn leader who wants what's best for America but is just not using your personal ideology? Is he just an idiot? Do you respect him for his position despite your differences? How do you feel about him simply as a person?

Democrats: Are you glad you voted for Obama? Is he too liberal? Is he too conservative? Is he the change he promised? Do you feel satisfied with his actions? Do you support him whole-heartedly?

Please back up everything with some real evidence, I'm trying to figure out who to vote for.

It's been rough for a couple weeks now, but after I scorched my face (i did use sunscreen) at a meet it hurt A LOT. So I put a lot of aloe vera on it and it finally stopped hurting. Except now, my cheeks are puffy and I have brown spots. Should I see a doctor?
