I put .co.uk instead of .net, will that mean the recipient will not get the email or does that make a difference?

  • Problem: I think I like this guy...?

Its someone I work with, some things have happened between us recently and I think he likes me too, I don't know him all that well but I think I really like him. I have a boyfriend with whom things are rocky. They have been smooth then rocky then smooth etc. for a long time. I think I'm afraid of not having him around and he has said that if we broke up he wouldn't want to be my friend anymore. Also, I live with my boyfriend and if we break up I'll have to move to a different town because I don't earn nearly enough to pay for my own flat - I work 40 hours a week for minimum wage. I feel a bit trapped, and I'm not sure what my next step should be. Please help!!

  • Should I be annoyed at this?

Well, its kind of a long story but I'll try and cut it down a bit.

Some years ago I met a guy at college, he wasn't in my year but we ended up going out for 9 months, at the end of which he broke up with me because he 'didn't love me anymore'. When I wanted to know why he stopped contact with me completely and was pretty nasty about it.

It took me a long time to get over this guy and to understand that it was a crap relationship - he made all the decisions, I always had to travel to his house, he never came to mine(we lived quite far away from each other), I wasn't very high up on his priority list, etc. Instead of arguing about this stuff I bottled it all up and just went along with anything he said...in short I became boring and insecure. So basically I understand why he broke up with me. This realisation would have helped me a long time ago if he'd just said this to me at the time, the closure would have really helped. But like I said, instead he stopped all contact and was pretty nasty about it.

This is the thing that annoyed me. Several years on he made friends with 2 of my girlfriends from college via bebo and facebook and did not add me. Now this wouldn't bother me so much if they'd been his friends as well but they weren't, they didn't know each other and they only met a few times once we were going out. He has started talking to one of them on facebook all the time and he went along to her open mic night even though he lives in a town even further away than he did from me when we were going out. She now thinks he's a really nice guy.

Now this has annoyed me but its hard to pinpoint exactly why. Should I be annoyed at this? I know that I'm over him, I've been out with other guys since then and I absolutely know that I do not want to get back with him. So why do I feel so angry??

  • Does anyone have any ideas for songs I could sing at an open-mic?

I have quite a soft high-ish voice, I've covered a few Beatles, Alanis Morissette and Joni Mitchell tracks but I have a really hard time finding songs that suit my voice!!

    Stuff that really suited were:

The Fool on the Hill - Beatles

No Pressure Over Cappuccino - Alanis Morissette

    Morning Morgantown - Joni Mitchell

Kiss Me - Sixpence None the Richer (that one was okay, doesnt suit my voice as well as the others tho...)

I am open to any suggestions, please help!!!

  • Pursuit of happiness...?

I think I have a problem. I've always had trouble making decisions, whether its deciding what to buy for dinner, deciding on a career, deciding whether or not to move to my boyfriend's home town or deciding what to wear every day!! I have problems making up my mind.

People say to me - think about what it is that YOU want, what will make YOU happy. The problem is I just don't know. I feel like I'm always too busy trying to keep other people happy, whether it's my boyfriend, parents, friends, colleagues. I don't know how to stop being this way. How do I make myself happy? I don't know how to think about it. I'm sorry if this seems like a stupid question...but I feel like I need some help!!

  • I really need some relationship help?

I love my boyfriend very much, but there is a problem - he lives in a different town and he wants me to move there. But I have a job that I really like in my hometown. I can probably get a similar job in my boyfriend's town, but I love the people I currently work with and I would really miss them if I left.

We have been together for just over 4 years. We lived together the first 3 years then we broke up and moved away - he moved to a different town and I moved back in with my parents but we got back together and have had a long distance relationship since. I had to do all the travelling as my mum doesn't like him and won't let him stay over.

Just after Christmas I moved most of my stuff to my boyfriend's place but I kept my job so I have been living with my parents when I'm working then travelling to my boyfriend's town and living there when I'm not working.

This arrangement involves a lot of running around on my part and I've been managing so far, but my boyfriend is not happy about it and he wants me to give up my job and move to his town permanently. I don't know what to do because I feel torn!! I need some advice, he's basically given me an ultimatum.

  • Which DS harvest moon game for my 7 year old nephew?

I have found 3 - island of happiness, rune factory and harvest moon ds. I own friends of mineral town for the gameboy advance and he really likes that, although he is not keen on too much dialogue. Are any of those 3 games any good for a 7 year old??

  • Please help!! I don't know what to do about this 'friend'...?

I have known her for 5 years. We first met in college and we got along brilliantly well, as we seemed to be on the same wavelength. Since we left college 3 years ago we haven't seen much of each other, like maybe 4 times a year but it was still good to meet up and have a laugh.

We had a fall-out last year over something daft, she thought I'd told a mutual friend stuff about her private life because of an innocent comment he made and she said all this stuff about ''not trusting me anymore'' and bla bla bla and then there was no apology when she found out I hadn't said anything of the sort to our other friend.

She's always been a bit of a 'diva', i.e. being really late whenever we'd planned to meet up, ever since college which has always been annoying but I never said anything, partly because I used to be late for everything (although never anything like as late as she was, sometimes I'd be waiting over an hour for her) and partly because I'm her friend.

On several occasions I've had to run around after her unnecessarily, with barely even a 'thank-you' and I've supported her during her concerts and stuff.

Now this is all very well, perhaps its just thoughtlessness or whatever, and not deliberate. But now we seem to have fallen out again, or at least I think we have.

On a forum I gave her my honest opinion about a recording she'd done but it wasn't in any way insulting to her or her voice (at least I don't think it was. It was a cover of a song that I said was mediocre, but I clearly said the song was mediocre, not her voice, and that her own material was better.) The next I heard from her was some weird unfriendly text messages, one of them simply said ''its none of your business'', when my question wasn't even personal.

I don't really know what to do now. I'm a bit tired of it, to be honest. The last time we fell out I was talking to her (or trying to) over msn for like 3 hours trying to convince her I hadn't said anything about her personal life to our friend, during which she signed off in a huff 3 times. Is she being unreasonable? Is this a normal friendship? She's my only close friend thats a girl.

  • Can anyone recommend a really good pair of work shoes?

In my work I am on my feet all the time, I really need a comfy pair of shoes!! I also worry that my feet are getting damaged, sometimes when I get out of bed in the morning my feet feel sort of tingly, like pins & needles but sorer.

  • Can you use henna hair dye on grey hair?

I have a couple of friends at work who use henna and their hair is in a lovely condition but I'm not sure if it will work on my hair as I have premature grey hairs - a LOT of premature grey hairs!!

I was just wondering if its a good alternative to chemical hair colouring, as I have to colour my hair regularly and I'm worried that I'm damaging it.

  • Could I be pregnant? Bit worried...?

It's been 37 days since my last period started. Also I usually only have 28-30 days in my cycle. My boobs have been tender for the last couple of days and I've been a little crampy.
