I spend all of my time on here in the baby names section. I have occasionally gone to other sections but it's rare. I just love baby names even though I have no children yet. This is my namelist, feel free to rate. http://www.babynames.com/namelist/9824125 Had 30 questions and now I have 18, all because /one/ question got reported. So thanks to whoever did that. So much for yahoo answers being fun. I enjoyed it while it lasted. I'm officially done with it though. bmcjd@yahoo.com if anybody wants, if not, oh well. Feel free to still rate my namelist. Thanks. I have made a twitter @BabyNameGames so that we can connect without fear of things getting deleted. I will not only do baby name games on there. I will also RT or tweet your name list or a name you like in order to get feedback for you. Hope to talk to you on there soon!

    Captivate. Seduction. Innocence/Innocent. ?

  • Thoughts on Ireland as a name?

I read a story recently where a girl was named Ireland and I've seen it on a few lists on nameberry.

I never thought of it as a name before, but I guess it is.

I think I prefer it as a middle name but does it work as a first name? If so, what middle name with it?

Which is better Gemma Ireland or Lucy Ireland?

For those who don't know, Alec Baldwin's daughter is named Ireland. She was born in 95 so she's 17/18.

Not sure if that changes things, just putting it out there.

  • Which name is better? (this or that)?

Names I like that are too similar to use as a sibset. Which one is better?

    Rylan, Ryder or Ryan?

    Violet or Viola?

Leah or Leelah(I like the pronunciation so if there's a better spelling, throw it my way)?

Aiden and Caden? (I know both of these are getting really popular, I may never use either, I'm just curious)

Are these names too similar? If so, which is better?

    Bryan and Bryce?

    Cameron and Cooper?

    Peyton (boy) and Parker (boy)?

    Arielle, Juliette and Danielle?

Tristan and Christian? (not twins, just siblings...or twins. I don't know. Whichever)

Amelia and Leah/Leelah(whichever one that is chosen from above)?

One more. Are Arielle and Ariel pronounced different?

ah-ree-el is spelled how? Is this Arielle?

air-e-uhl is spelled how? Is this Ariel?

I'm confused on this. I like the name though.

  • A middle name for this first name?

    I love the name Cooper.

I think it's adorable, especially with Coop as a nickname.

I originally had Cooper Jonathan and I liked it quite a bit.

However, the Jonathan was in honor of somebody and I have no desire to honor them anymore. It's to the point where I don't want to use the name at all.

Any ideas of middle names that work with Cooper?

-Please don't just list names next to Cooper, only suggest it if you think it actually flows/works well.

-Please keep in mind I did say that I love this name. Therefore, be considerate when giving your opinion. If all you want to do is bash the name, please take your comments elsewhere and go answer another question. Thanks.

    Your suggestions are appreciated! :)

  • Can you use graham crackers instead of regular crackers when sick?

I'm sick and the doctor told me that crackers would help with my nausea.

I am currently all out of crackers but I do have graham crackers.

Do you think that would work?

Is it better than nothing at least?

I also have peanuts. Are those better?

I watched the trailer and it looks good but I'm still not sure.

    Your opinions are appreciated.

    lee-la

I have Leila but I've seen people saying that's lay-la which I thought was just Layla or Laila.

    I like lee-la, I think it's pretty but I'm mainly just curious.

    Thanks!

  • Help with a stuffed dog name?

I know it's a little childish to name a stuffed animal, but I feel weird not naming it.

I got a stuffed animal puppy for Christmas and I can't decide on a name.

    I'm thinking Charlie or Cooper.

But I'm open to other suggestions.

My friend suggested Snickdoodle and I kind of like that but at the same time it's kind of long.

Do you like any of those names?

    If not, any suggestions?

I kind of want it to fit him so here's a picture

  • What do you think of Rourke as a middle name?

Rourke is sort of a family name and I didn't think of using it till recently.

Not sure if I like how it sounds.

I would only use it as a middle name and only if it flowed well.

Do you think Rourke could make a nice middle name?

If so, what first names do you picture with it?

Please don't be rude, I'm simply curious.
