I'm going to be making a cake that calls for 2 jars plum baby food. I can't not find this flavor baby food. The last time I made the cake, I purchased canned plums and smashed them. Do you think this is sufficient?

I would like to do something special for a friend who has colon cancer. She just told me today she can't recover, she's just buying time. She's married with 2 young, precious daughters, 10 & 12. I don't want to do anything that will take her away from her family. We are having the family over for dinner in a week or so. But I want to do something special just for her. At the end of Oct. she is undergoing a hyperthermic chemo treatment. She'll be hospitalized, out of state, for 10 days. And may have to stay longer.

Any suggestions on what I could do for her? This is so hard because she is so upbeat and positive and I don't want to do anything that would bring her down. I want it to be positive.

We have a new in-ground, saltwater, vinyl liner pool. It's not even 2 months old. It's been leaking almost from the 1st week full. The pool company has been back weekly to attempt to repair it. The leak apparently was/is in the light conduit. They've puttied, covered with fiber glass, caulked and we're still leaking....3/4 inch in 15 hours, with the pool turned off. We don't have a heater. Any suggestions on what should be done next? I would love to be able to sound as though I know what I'm talking about with the pool company owner. Thanks!!!

A friend of mine was to be in small claims court today and didn't know the date had been rescheduled for today. The other person was awarded $9500. Can my friend do anything about this, such as an appeal? This is in TN. Thank you! If you need anymore information, I will do my best to provide the information for you.

I've tried waterproof. I've tried Clinique, Estee Lauder, Merle Norman, Elizabeth Arden, Lancome..the list can go on. But they all seem to smudge after a little while and I have these black smears under my eyes. Not very becoming at all! And you would think when you're out with friends they would say, "Hey, what's that under your eyes? Is that a knew makeup fad? I don't like it if it is! " LOL No, really, you would think they would let me know instead of me looking like a raccoon! Thanks for your suggestions! :)

We have deer at our house on a daily basis. We just moved to this house in October so I haven't had time to plant very much...but I'm getting ready to start!!! We have lots of woods surrounding our house with dappled sun so hosta should be perfect in places! Thank you for your answers!

Does anyone else think this drama queen should just have a sex change and be done with it? He acts more like a girl than I do! I can't even stand to watch him...and I use the term "him" losely!!

I think Taylor is acting like any normal person would in this situation. And Brooke saying Taylor isn't stable? Has she even thought to look in the mirror when she says that?

I think the only ones that haven't been wife swapping and involved with Brooke and Taylor are Clark and CJ!

And you know, they could do a better job at showing all the charachters more. How long has it been since we've seen Felicia, Thorne or Phoebe? Poor Felicia, all the men on the are related to her, except Clark, Nick & CJ. Waaaaaait a minute...I see a Felicia/Nick deal going on in the near future!!!! LOL

My oldest sister has nothing to do with me except when she wants something. She rarely answers her phone when I call, she calls back when she has "a minute." When she does answer, she says "What do you want? I'm busy." She will call me if she wants something. It's got to the point I only see her on Christmas, Easter and Thanksgiving. And we live in the same town! Everyone tells me she's just jealous of me. She is on her 3rd marriage, I'm still married to my only husband, 24 years. I don't have to work, she has a job. I have a custom built home larger than hers.

We lost our father 6 years ago, she was the sameway with him and is this way also with our mom. However she does speak to and goes to see her once a month or so. She felt so guilty after I dad died because of how she treated him and we all thought she would learn from it. But, guess we were wrong. I have discussed this with her and she just says, Ohhhhh. I'm just soooo busy. Should I just let her be and let her call me?

She's very controlling. She thinks she needs to tell me how to do everything, and gets upset when I don't do what she said. Even the simplest things such as how to put the glasses in the cabinets. Thinks everything she has is the best, done everything better or something happened to her worse, no one has a job as hard as hers. She's a pharm. rep and shops for herself most of the day, may actually work 2 or 3 hours a day...real difficult. She constantly interupts me while I'm speaking. I'll be in mid-sentence and she will just start talking, loudly, about something completely different. I have told her several times that I don't appreciate this. Her response: I thought you were finished. I say that's because you aren't listening. So many other issues I have with her, just not enough space. She is 40 & I'm 44, both married. I can barely stand to be around her anymore. I find myself ignoring her calls and coming up with reasons not to spend anytime with her. How would you handle this? ty
