  • Would you feel some type of way too? ?

I spent 3 weeks building an 18” foot above ground pool by myself and now I barely use it. The reason why I don’t use it is because my 24yr old daughter and her 28yr old boyfriend comes over all the time and uses it. I don’t mind them using it but lately every time it’s scorching hot outside and I get ready to get in the pool they are already in there. Even tho the pool is big enough I just  don’t feel comfortable being in there with both of them. Normally I go in with my younger son and or my wife. The times of been in there after daughter and boyfriend I’ve found my self scooping up a lot of hair follicles mostly the bf because he is balding.

  • How would you word an email to your manager about your super micro managing supervisor?

I’ve complained to my manager about my supervisor many times. Supervisor likes to send demeaning emails to me and sometimes I wonder if he thinks that I can’t do my job correctly. I always get good yearly performance reviews from my manager and a lot of my coworkers actually prefer that I handle all of their requests. Sometimes those same coworkers would avoid the group emails and just email me directly with their needs. I don’t think I’m not fit to do my job at all.

My supervisor is very anal. He’s definitely a micro manager. It’s been so bad that I really don’t like dealing with him. He’s only a supervisor because he kissed his way up the latter. A lot of people question his ability to properly supervise and was even sued by another co-worker for harassment.

I just want to formally request in an email to my manager that I would like a transfer to another division since my supervisor takes on all the requests. I’ve been at this job for 10 years and I can work alone just fine. No other supervisor here works offsite with their employees. This guy is the only one that likes hounding us and likes to be standing near us while we work.

The guy has been seen working on his days off!! We don’t think he has a happy marriage or likes being at home at all and on his days off. Also he’s not working overtime those days.

  • Can an alleged attorney put liens on my property or get ahold of my SS# over a failed internet sale? ?

An alleged attorney is threatening me by claiming to put liens on my property over a failed internet sale. He’s also claiming to have gotten ahold of my SS# and by the time he’s done with me that I’ll cost me over 10k in legal fees. I have all his emails saved and printed along with the item listing.

This all started when he falsely listed an item on an internet website that I bought. The brand, part number and description of the item he listed was far from accurate.  As soon as I unboxed the item I knew that I received a cheap knockoff part. I‘ve been nothing but professional with my replies but he’s been combative & threatening with me over this sale. I just want what I paid for or my money back and he doesn’t understand this. I contacted the popular website that I bought this from and they gave him 3 days to refund me my money and send me a shipping label. I have no intentions whatsoever to keep the garbage item that he sent me. His threats haven’t stopped.

  • Kids and auto insurance...do I add her on my policy?

My stepdaughter at 21years old got her drivers license a few months ago and now she’s trying to lease a new car but she’s having a hard time getting insured on her own. She’s been getting quotes starting at $560+ a month. She’s very responsible and has worked and still works a full time job for years. I’d like to help her but I own a home with her mom. If she accidentally hurts someone I don’t want to be sued and loose my assets. What do I do here?

  • Diner will be ready in about 25 minutes so do I bring her a plate to her “new” room or just tell her diner is ready and at table?

Wife’s probably menopausing (spelling) so she lashed out on me 2 weeks ago when I asked her a simple harmless question about our AC unit and I’m not one to be downed talked to so I yelled back and told her not to talk to me in that tone. If we backtrack then let’s say that we are in our late 30s and early 40’s and so far we’ve had sex 5 times in 2019. She’s been a cold fish!!! So 2 weeks she’s been hardly talking to me and not sleeping in our bed with no explanation. Diner will be ready in about 25 minutes so do I bring her a plate or just tell her diner is ready and at table?

  • How can someone pay let’s say pay 4K in taxes all year but get a refund of let’s say 8k?

Wether or not there are dependants that are being claimed when they file, this doesn’t make sense to me. If you pay 4K in taxes all year but get back 8k as a refund then you aren’t paying any taxes to the government at all. I though we all are supposed to do our part and pay our fair share of taxes. I pay a combined (state, federal) 12k+, no dependants, own a home and barely see 2.5k to 3k in returns. I think I’m paying my fair share!!

  • Why did my wife blame me?

Yesterday was my wife’s birthday so instead of having her grown kids cry that I keep them away from their mom on special occasions I decided to try something new. Last year I had a seafood feast for mother’s day at home and invited her kids over. This went good so then I thought I’d cook at home and invite her kids over once again. One of her kids said that they will be bringing a roast pork to dinner and instead dropped it off the night before not cooked so I seasoned it. When I woke up the next morning (at around 8:45 am) my intentions were to put it in the oven but wife beat me to it.

Diner time came and I was in the middle of a download for work so my oldest stepson (26yrs) butchered the pork and ate like 4lbs of it before anyone else sat down to eat. I was the last to serve myself and by then I had to skin meat of the bone since there wasn’t much left of a 10lb pork shoulder. Throughout the night my wife was blaming me for not serving everyone like if I’m a freaking maid or server. I don’t get it... her youngest kid is 22 so they should know better. None of the kids no longer live at home. Why am I to be blamed for her son’s gluttony when she should’ve taught him better? This is the last time I do something like this!! From now on it’ll be diner for 2 at a restaurant.

  • If an officer pulls along side of me as I’m walking home and asks me to show ID or where I’m going... do I have to comply with them?

I’m just tired of having to answer to anyone when my own wife doesn’t question me my whereabouts. My wife knows exactly where my whereabouts are therefore there’s no questioning me but I will answer her if she inquires. To make a long story short... I am always running errands or going to work using public transportation to all these locations. I walk about 3/4 of a mile from the bus stop to our apartment. There has been numerous times that I’ll either be at the bus stop or walking home and an officer would stop and question me where I’m going. Sometimes they ask for ID also. I don’t want to give an officer a hard time at all. I just want to know if I’m required by law to answer them with my whereabouts and show ID when I’m not breaking any law and have never done so in all my 37 years of life.

  • Can a state agency make you work underclass and underpaid after 8 years without changing your job title?

I feel as though both management and HR is toying with my livelyhood. I’m the only person of color performing such work while training others above me. As far as work ethics, my supervisor, manager and director all tell me that I’m a very good employee and my yearly reviews are immaculate. I’m not sure why they are toying with me... HR will blame management and vice versa when it comes to my “promised” promotion.

  • Should I take my truck to the dealer for an oil change while it’s under factory warranty?

I’m not a certified mechanic but I know my way around an engine bay. I’ve replaced engines, clutches, transmissions and much more. I just need an oil change and work schedule is an issue. I bought a brand new truck and I’m wondering if it needs to be serviced at the dealer while it still has factory warranty. Otherwise I can do the simple oil change myself and save myself a lot of time and probably money. Also, I only use factory recommended parts.

  • Seriously why do white people always get promoted over black or brown people?

I have been up for promotion for the last 7 years and in that time frame whites have skyrocketed up the ladder in this place. Their excuse always has to do with the budget crisis but that doesn’t stop them from promoting their own. From what I’ve been told, I have not been forgotten and that they are still trying to promote me to a job title that better reflects my responsibilities. Seven years is along time to be waiting patiently but yet I have to supervise people that are grossing higher than I am. I’ve been here for 15 years and have not tasted a promotion meanwhile the Caucasian that have been here for 5 years have climbed up the corporate ladder.

My yearly reviews and work flow is excellent and always have been. I’ve never been in any trouble and as far as I know everyone likes to work with me. 2 years ago a coworker got suspended for stealing company time but just today he gets promoted.

Why am I here still? Simple because I’ve invested so much in this place and I have good benefits that helps when you have an underaged child with needs. It’s a good place to work but it looks like it’s a better place to work if you are white.

  • With the new tax plan, does it mean that we all should see a bigger tax refund & see more money in our weekly paychecks?

I do my part as tax to death paying us citizen. I file my yearly taxes and claim my mortgage interest so I see a small percentage of my hard earned taxes that we are extortioned out of come back to me.

  • How do you live in a sexless marriage at just 36 years old?

Wife just has a bunch of excuses or finds any little stupid thing for us not to be intimate. We can go anywhere from 4 to 7 weeks without any intimacy. She’s 41 and my just 36. This isn’t normal!!! Now if I cheat then it’s my fault but why would any woman put their husband in a position like this or drive them elsewhere? Love fades and I feel my love for wife fading as I don’t think she’s just interested in me anymore.

  • Should wife be angry at me? Please enlighten me as I’m open to all answers.?

Stepson wants to move back Into my house with g/f. I’ll take him but not his g/f. I think that this will create some chain of reaction with my other step kids and they’ll wanna move in with their g/f or b/f...the same goes for my own son but he’s far too young and not on his 20’s.

Ps. it’s my house!!! I’m not a moocher that shacked up with a woman so that I can have a place to sleep.
