  • I just can not get thru typing an email without one of these things happening.?

Ok when I try to type an email if I try to backspace or go back to correct something I typed wrong or if I stop for a minute.....the "line" that shows where you left off disappears. All 3 of these things cause the whole message to highlight & erase. It's making me crazy. I can't even get thru one message without one of these things happening! I make a lot of typos & need to fix them. Well you all get the idea. Please help me. Is it my computer or a way I have it set up.......help! And thanks.

  • What is the best thing for fleas on Kittens?

My elderly parents recently adopted two kittens. They're about 3 months old & are inside only kittens. I vowed to help with their care because my parents live on S.S only. I saw a few fleas on kittens the last time I was there & I told my parents I'd find out what is best to catch it now. They are brothers & lick each other all the time & rub their little heads together & even snuggle when they sleep. Traditional flea meds wouldn't be good with that fact. Anyone have any good or natural methods that have worked in this situation? Thanks everybody in advance! I'll let you all know what works or doesn't.

  • Does my turkey in a brine have to be refrigerated?

OK, I now it's a fine time to ask the dumb turkey question...BUT...I've decide to try a brine on my turkey this year. No, I consider myself a good cook & why I'm trying something new when I'm having people over, well, I don't know...I do it every time,I guess it's my way of living on the edge in my old age! Please help me out you guys,I soon have to get started.....Thanks

  • Is there a place that you know of that would help with Vet bills for my pets?

I worked my whole life, but suddenly have found myself disabled. I have a dog & a cat who I treasure & with the change in my situation, I find it very difficult to have money for the Vet. It saddens me so much because they are older too. My Kitty is 17 & my Pug is almost 12. They were both rescue pets,I'm proud to say, & I just wish I could give them the care they deserve. Thank you in advance to anyone who has any suggestions for me.

  • How do you write a Thank You to the people you really felt answered you the best?

I'm new, I'm sure you all guessed, but I also have received some really touching answers to my questions that I would like to respond to personally. I can imagine that it's not an easy thing to do, with good reason, dealing with such a huge amount of people. Yet, I still want to thank some people personally. Thanks for helping..

  • my 17 yr. old beloved Kitty is suddenly losing her fur in huge amounts. What could cause that?

She's got what appears to be a dandruff & when I brush her (daily) the fur that comes out I could make a new Kitty out of it! I'm worried,of course, she's an indoor Cat & in the past when she did sneak out now & then, she always got like an allergic reaction on her skin in the form of "bumps" like little scabs. They always cleared up as she remained indoors & now she's older & wiser & never even tries to go out anymore! She's happy looking out the sliding door that faces the lake. Thanks for any help or ideas of what it may be.

  • My Duck does not fly..I wonder if he's hurt or sick?

I've come to love a Muscovey Duck that showed up at my Son's house,on his lake. He's so tame it frightens me.I know he's a wold bird, but to me he's Waddle & yes,he knows his name. He runs to me everyday & I need to know what to feed him. I'm giving him dry oatmeal right now. I've noticed he never flies. His right wing seems to be less a lot of feathers compared to the left. I'm so afraid he can't get away or protect himself & I pray it's not my fault. Whenever he sees me,he runs over to me & he still has never flown, He waddles all the way around the lake to get to me & sometimes he will swim over, but never fly.I see him all day walking around & around. Also would he use a shelter,if I put one out for him? I hate seeing him sitting in the pouding rain & wind all tucked together in himself. Thank You to anyone who can help me,I don't know where else to turn. Waddle has become such an enjoyable part of my life. I'm home & disabled,so I have time to do whatever it takes to help him.
