Okay, so my situation is pretty difficult and not at all happy. I got accepted to both UC Davis and UC Santa Barbara, but SB gave me $ 29,000 scholarship and loan, but if I used the VA grant that my retired veteran dad will use for free tuition, then I can't get any scholarships or grants, leaving me 20,000 dollars of loans with SB and only 3,000 dollar loan from Davis.

If I went to Davis, then my family would have to pay $58,000 for all four years which is totally impossible due to my sister who resides in UCSD where she would have to commute her sophomore year an hour away because of housing which is expensive.

I need the money for housing, but Davis won't give me as much as UCSD gave to my sister or SB gave to me even though they're all UC's.

Also, recently my dad got laid off from work and got a job that pays $10 less a month later which we submitted our FAFSA again and still barely got 5,000 loan money more.

Shouldn't Davis give me at least the same amount of money as Santa Barbara? They're both UC's...

And I DO NOT want to go to SB because I want to specifically major in Animal Sciences, not Marine biology or general Bio.

Although SB may be cheaper, I think that it is not the right place for me and even if I go to a community college and transfer to Davis, I STILL won't have enough money to go to Davis for two years, what should I do? Please help...

Any ideas? Even if I get a job, I can only make 3,000 a year because of only being a high school graduate...

I recently bought a Noblet clarinet for 500 dollars which costs a lot for me. It's used and it looks like it's in pretty good shape. I was wondering how people would comapre it to another clarinet for a student. I'm not thinking of playing in college, only for high school. And the best to worst clarinet mouthpieces. I also got a Vandoren B45

My mom and I recently bought a clarinet ten minutes ago and I already feel a little doubtful. The clarinet is a used Noblet which is french and is supposed to be a very good standard, but not professional clarinet since I'm not going to play the clarinet after two years. It cost 499 dollars which is huge and an enourmous amount of money at least for my family. My mom bought it with the intention for my 16th birthday but I'd rather she wouldn't spend it on something so expensive. It would be nice to have the clarinet which also came with a free swab, reed case, reed, and book which I think I'll have to return along with the clarinet if I don't like it. Oh, and also the mouthpice! All of it cost 799 which is bigger than what I have in my bank account! My birthday is actually in July too so it's supposed to be an early birthday gift too. I'm afraid that the clarinet is a huge hole in my parents' pockets and with prices rising up, I'm really doubting myself even further. My mom also bought me an old Vito which is 500 dollars for marching season and the wooden Noblet for concert. Should I really return the clarinet and stick with the Vito for the next 2 years? Or should I keep it and use the Noblet ocassionally after the couple years only for concert season which is only 1 semseter each year?

I have to make this story book for history and me and my partner want to make a mesh of all the princesses together!!!! We made up: Farmalina, Barnabra, Farmaline. Plz make it funny or close to that!! thnx

I wanted to save energy because bills, bills, bills. And I don't know how to do that without charging my computer every single day.

I 've been charging the computer then taking the plug out then using the battery while on it until it's full then doing it again.

The second choice would be never taking the plug out and letting the battery be full when I use it.

Which choice is better?

I play the clarinet and I have a MAJOR problem tonguing, I don't if that's a word, but in musical terms yes. I get the basics of how you tongue like tongue at the tip of the top of the reed. Just a saying my stupid teacher told us reed players. That didn't help at all in the near future now that I need to tongue faster for a ton of music pieces!!!

I always tense up my cheeks and lips whenever I tongue because it's so hard. An upper classman can tongue like sixteenth notes on 200!!! That's amazing, I think he's a god since I don't know how to tongue myself. I learned later after three years how to tongue "properly" I just can't ongue the right way to get a faster speed, it HURTS!!! After maybe an half an hour and I'm pretty much done! Can someone explain how to tongue really fast? I need help. Please please please, and thank you sooo much!!!

I've been looking up at porn on the internet and I try to stop. I can go for a whole half a year, but then the topic suddenly pops up in conversation...I get the urge to masturbate. I found out recently that my religion, Christianity, bans masturbating as a sin becasue it deals with self-pleasures. I know that other people's views say that its okay and that you just have to do since it has something to do with the mental mind and whatever.
