I tell people I'm African American because I like to see their reaction. I'm white and so are my parents. My dad was born in Algeria and my mother was born in North America. Wouldn't that make me an African American?

Also, what are they? I never heard anyone say this until I came to YA.

I think that all the media on the bombing is working to the bomber's advantage. They know exactly what the Feds know and are better able to stay one step ahead of getting caught. I just wanted to know what others thought.

I wholeheartedly believe that how and if one believe's in god is their personal opinion. Everyone has their own reasons for believing what they do.

I live in the states and people sometimes comment on different accents. I love the Indian accent. Other popular accents are British, Irish, French. I was just wondering what people from other countries think about American accents. American English speakers speaking in your native tongue that is.

I found that riding my bike in 90 degree weather is easier for me than riding in 60 degree weather. I have to stop more and get water when it's colder. The cold air dries out my nose and lungs. When it's hot though, I have no problem. Isn't it supposed to be the other way around?

I wanted to see what time it was but I couldn't open my eyes. I thought I was awake but I must have slipped back into dreamland. I was having a conversation with my dad and I couldn't tell if it was real or a dream at first.

I had spinal fusion so my back is always uncomfortable but it's 10x worse when my stomach hurts. I've searched on line and never found a connection between stomach aches and back pain. Has anyone else found this to be true?
