Good-smelling laundry detergent to replace Tide plus Downy Spring Fresh?
I know this question may seem a bit rude, but I’ve used Tide plus Downy Spring Fresh liquid detergent for a while. Then we ran out, and for a month or so we used other random detergents that my parents picked up at the store. When we tried going back to the Tide plus Downy, the scent that I loved so much was non existent. I looked up recent reviews and saw that the recipe changed, and I wasn’t going crazy.
Are there any detergents that smell warm and fresh? I used gain flings but the scent lasted for half a day at the most. The Up and Up one (can’t remember the scent) that I was able to buy online from target is alright. But are there any other ones I could try? It would be a bonus if I could get it online, too, since I rarely have time or energy after work to go to a store. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated! Again, I don’t want to be rude to the company, but I just don’t like the new recipe.
6 AnswersCleaning & Laundry2 years agoCareer options for an associates degree in Veterinary Technology?
I know the obvious answer is the Veterinary Technician career, but I don’t know if I’d make very much money in that field. The associates degree sounds like something I’d enjoy learning about and applying in my career, but I don’t know how many other career options there are for this specific degree. I considered getting the degree while still working at the doggy daycare I’m at as a kennel technician before getting a certification in animal husbandry and caretaking in animal labs and working there, but I’m not sure that pays much either. Could I get a lab job of some sort with this degree? Are there any other good career options? Or should I find another degree altogether to study? I want to have a somewhat concrete goal and planned future before spending time and money on a degree.
1 AnswerOther - Careers & Employment2 years agoIs this job I have good enough to be considered animal experience for future careers?
I have been looking at some animal careers listed on indeed.com just to see what possible future jobs will require. I am planning on going to college. I want to work with animals but don't know where/what I'll study yet. Most jobs require experience with animals.
I currently work at PetSmart in their PetsHotel. I supervise daycamps and playtime, clean kennels, bathe dogs sometimes and do nail grinds, care for cats, feed the cats and dogs, and interact with all sorts of breeds. Would this be considered good experience with animals in the future, or are there other jobs that don't require experience that I should do instead to get that experience? Sorry if that doesn't make sense. I just want to get some experience because I know I'll need it in the future. Any advice and help is appreciated.
4 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment3 years agoDo C-Section babies look different than vagina birth babies when they grow up?
I know they look different at birth. But do babies born through the birth canal's heads look longer when they grow up? Someone told me that and I don't know if it's true. My sister, the only non c-section of five siblings, has a longer face while thence section babies have rounder faces. Is it true that people born via c section look different than birth canal babies?
5 AnswersNewborn & Baby3 years agoCareers with Art, Multimedia, and Family Studies degrees?
I am a senior in high school. The college I'm looking at has a program where you can study up to three different subjects. I saw an example of someone that studied multimedia, family studies, and art, and those are interesting things to me. Any ideas of what career I could get with all three or with two or one of those? Thanks for any help you can offer!

4 AnswersPolls & Surveys4 years agoDoes he like me?! High schooler?
So he s a year younger than me. I am almost 17 and he s almost 16 but he acts my age practically and we have church stuff together.
Anyways he always will sit close to me. Like if we sit next to each other he has his knee or arm pressed against mine. Also, he sits across from me every time at church and his feet are always kicking mine. Sometimes he will let his foot stay there a bit.
He talks to me a lot. He is friends with my best friend but he does look at me a lot and stuff. He also asks my sister (his coworker) about me sometimes.
And today me and him and my friend were in a room and we sat down and he played the piano and while he was playing he kept looking up at me and sometimes he would smile.
Is he just being friendly? Am I crazy? Does this stuff mean anything?
3 AnswersSingles & Dating5 years agoWhy do people blame white people so much? As well as despise them?
I'm in high school and yeah I know this may sound stupid and it is stupid because, hey, it's high school, but I'll ask anyways. Do my opinions matter less because I'm a white girl instead of black or Latino or LGBTQ or any other minority group? The other students in my past history classes all seem to roll their eyes and not pay any attention to white people in debates or discussions but agree with every minority girl/guy that talks, even if it is actually a crappy idea. They all say whites need to be involved, especially white males, but when we (and the males) get involved they never listen and laugh us off or think we are oppressing them. I've even been told by friends that my problems (pretty severe) are nothing because I'm white and privileged anyways. What does freaking OCD and a suicidal sister have to do with race anyways?
Anyways, the black people at my school always yell at me for never apologizing for forcing blacks to be slaves. Like, neither of us were there back then, so....?
What do I do? Do I have white privileges and should I be guilty?
3 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups5 years agoDisney channel has some weird armadillo thing popping up?
So I watched it yesterday and during Grace Stirs Things Up and then today during the Decendants cartoon thing. It shouts "ZARBARK" or something and I tried googling it and nothing came up. It has a yellow and black outline and looks incredibly stupid and is annoying me. Here I am trying to watch my favorite channel and then "ZARBARK" LIKE WHAT IS THIS AND WHY WON T IT EVER SHUT UP?!?!?!?!
2 AnswersOther - Television5 years agoTooth and jaw hurt with water....?
When I drink water and it touches the fronts of two of my bottom teeth in between them and down a little, there is a huge amount of pain for like fifteen or thirty seconds. It starts at the gums around those two teeth in that space between them and expands through my jaw and chin for a while. It is so painful that I have to just sit there and not move my jaw. When I brush my teeth and swish water around my mouth I open my mouth and let all the water trickle out because my jaw is practically paralyzed in pain.
This has been happening for about a few months. Any idea what it is? Should I see a dentist? I don't like going to the dentist much like other people but I will go if I need to. I also have braces and swollen gums. I also do forget to brush my teeth a lot. So I'm guessing my teeth health is t too great. But I never experienced this till now.
1 AnswerDental5 years agoIs there a disorder where you feel no emotions and always do what others tell you?
I'm just wondering.
Is there any specific disorder that can cause someone to not feel anything, and makes them just obey everything everyone tells them?
Like, if a guy were to have no emotions and always obeyed people when told to do chores or homework immediately, and let people tell them to commit crimes, etc..... Basically they lose control of themselves and do what others tell them. Any disorder that can cause that?
1 AnswerMental Health5 years agoWeird Eyesight: White flashes, weird feeling with eye movement, moving shadows, colors keep changing....?
Yes, the question may seem very confusing.
So I ve been having bad headaches for a few months and have been blacking out sometimes.
Now my vision seems off. Whenever I move my eyes it s a weird tingly sensation.... Dunno how to explain it.
And my vision gets fuzzy at times and it s getting harder to focus it.
There are random black dots on the walls and ceilings and I ll think it s a bug or something but then I blink and look closer and there won t be anything. There are also white flashes every now and then.
Sometimes the color scheme I m seeing will change as well. Like my vision will get a bluish tint, then it ll turn into a reddish tint, then darker, then lighter. It s weird and I don t know how to explain most of this.
What should I do? Should I get my eyes checked out?
2 AnswersOptical5 years agoHeadaches and Dizziness and Falling Over?
Yes, I've seen the doctor.
This has been happening for months now. At first they thought it was because of my change in OCD medication and they tried switching back to my old one and it didn't work. My parents think it may be the anxiety from OCD making me physically ill since I suffer chronic stomach pains that are also very severe and have no apparent cause.
Anyways, I have headaches all day every day. They're around the top of my head, temples, sometimes in the back. They're sharp shooting pains. And they're severe.
When I stand up sometimes I stand still to wait for the dizziness to die down a bit and then I'll fall right over to the ground. It's scary because a few times I have missed situations where I could really hurt myself.
Also, sitting up or sitting can make me super dizzy and miserable. A few hours is the most I can handle without going mad because of the pain and discomfort.
Laying down all day every day is the only way I get relief. I had to withdraw from school and do class work at home.
What should I do about this? Does this sound like anything bad?
Also, Advil and Tylenol and other pain meds don't help at all.
1 AnswerPain & Pain Management5 years agoMcDonalds old happy meal bear toys?! Where can I find them?
So in my early childhood McDonalds used to give little bears as happy meal toys. I have looked online on many sites and only found a few of the most popular bears even though there were several bears throughout the years. I really want to buy a bunch of them (don't ask why, I just do) and I searched Teenie Beanie Bears and can't seem to find very many.
So, are there any websites you know of that may be selling old McDonalds bears and may have a list of all of the collections that include the bears at the very least? This is a weird question but I wanna know. The bears I had are nowhere to be found so I guess my parents sold them without me realizing it....
1 AnswerToys5 years agoIs there any illnesses that make it hard to tell the difference between a dream and reality?
This is probably not worded well.
But basically I m just curious. Recently I ve been having dreams where I ll do exactly what I do in real life.... For example, a few nights ago I fell asleep on the couch but had a dream where I showered and got into my bed, then woke up on the couch. And I also had a dream where I was doing math homework that seemed real, and I woke up and the math work wasn t done. I ll have memories of doing things I didn t actually do. Does that make any sense?
I mean I don t think there s anything wrong, but this got me wondering if there are any illnesses or circumstances where someone may have vivid dreams about every day life and have no idea if they re awake or asleep in another dream. I m pretty curious to know. Again, sorry if this isn t worded too well.
1 AnswerPsychology5 years agoI HATE my friends touching me?
Im a girl and I don t usually mind guys accidentally touching me or something unless there is just something uncomfortable about them or it s in a very weird area. When other girls touch me I mostly flinch, though every once in a while there will be a girl that touches me when we walk in the hallway and I don t give a dang. But when my friends sit really close to me or touch any part of my body with their arms or knees or elbows it makes me want to lash out. This week I struggled not to lash at a friend who KNOWS I hate being touched because she s always been HUGGING me or SITTING WAY TOO CLOSE or LEANING INTO ME. She said today "I hate when any boys touch me at all" and I chimed in with "I hate when any people touch me at all" and she FREAKING TRIED TOUCHING ME. it gives me anxiety for some reason, like it ruins my day and I feel depressed afterwards. Like all other girl friends I see don t mind being super close and I m okay if guys touch me as weird as that sounds but I hate other girls touching me. How do I get them to back off a bit without hurting their feelings? Why do I get so anxious about this stuff?
1 AnswerFriends5 years agoAm I being a wimp with my sickness?
They found nothing physical and have done many tests. I have chronic stomach pains and they were around for more than a year. I'm a sophomore in high school. I miss so much school and making it 4 out of 5 days a week is a huge accomplishment. Anyways I feel so weak and pathetic because the doctor says it may be psychological. But it hurts so bad. Every hour of every day I'm in pain. All I think about is pain. I can't sleep anymore. The medicine is not working. Everyone rolls their eyes or yells at me or makes fun of me for being so sick. Even my supportive parents are tired of me. What the heck do I do? Am I being weak?
1 AnswerOther - Diseases5 years agoMy best guy friend and I kissed during a truth or dare game?
So we were all at his house, hanging out in the evening. It wasn't a party, just friends chilling. His parents happened to be gone....
We were not drunk or anything.
Anyways there was his crush, my crush, and a few of our other friends. We started off having an innocent game like "do you like anyone" or "go lick a sock" and it was pretty hilarious looking back since we are in high school....
Anyways I've known this guy friend for many many years and we are like besties.... And some girl said "I dare you two to kiss!" It was both our first kisses. We decided to do it.
It was a two second kiss on the lips. Nothing big. But it was in front of both our crushes. His crush probably already kissed like 40 guys (she dates a new guy every week for real) and my crush hasn't ever kissed a girl. I didn't feel anything during the kiss and my guy friend was sincere in telling me he didn't think anything of it either. But.... Will my crush hate me for this if he does like me? When will my other friends stop assuming my friend and I like each other because we never have never will..... Will we all laugh about this in the future?
