2 AnswersGarden & Landscape6 years agoHow do I find out why my question was removed or deleted?
I have noticed a question that I asked a few days ago has been deleted and there was no mention/alert of it being deleted in my account or what guideline I have violated if any.
My question was a hypothetical question of whether one would ever break the law if it was the only way they could stay alive.
I asked this question as I wanted to know what others would do in the hypothetical situation I proposed.
After all, it is a question from a literal point of view.
6 AnswersYahoo Answers6 years agoWhat to do in the event of a second engine failure at V2 on a Boeing 737/Airbus A320?
If one was flying a Boeing 737/Airbus A320 or some other two engine aircraft, should you first have a engine failure at or above V1, and then get a second engine failure at V2 ; what would be the correct thing to do?
Could one survive such as indecent should the plane have all ready rotated and become air-borne before the second engine failure at V2.
7 AnswersAircraft7 years agoWhy does a FM radio station sound better on a frequency slightly off the target frequency?
Was listening to FM radio station on the frequency of 97.3, and noticed it sounded better on the frequency of 97.4.
In other words, 97.3 is the official FM frequency for LBC, but I get hissing on that frequency but not on the frequency of 97.4
3 AnswersRadio7 years agoHow painful would it be if someone was incorrectly defibrillated while fully conscious?
I know that no one would normally defibrillated some one if they were concious and defribulation should only ever be done for VF and pulseless VT, but if some one got hold of a manual defibrillator and discharged it at 200J on someones chest as if they were defribulating someone, apart from likely causing VF and killing them if not immediately treated (assuming they can then be defribulated), how painful would it be.
In other words, if one could feel the pain of 200J discharging on them, how painful would it be in theory?

With Geordie's knowledge of the Enterprise, should the auto destruct be activated by some like Piccard and Riker; could he (Geordie) deactivate the auto destruct him self with his in depths knowledge of the ships systems?
Also what would happen if the people who activated the auto destruct, were killed while it the destruct sequence was still running?
1 AnswerOther - Television8 years agoHow does two plus two equal five‽ (2+2=5?)?
A while ago a friend and a teacher of my class were saying that in some respects that 2 + 2 = 5 and it can be benifical over 2 + 2 = 4.
How on earth can 2 + 2 = 5 and how do you prove this!, I say "2" is a value one higher than one and one less than three.
Can some one please explain how this works; an please no clever stuff like 2.5 + 2.5 = 5 - 2.5 is not 2, it 2.5 (2 is 2.0000000......)
6 AnswersHomework Help8 years agoPreviously associated telephone + lost of calls for old owner?
Hi, first of all this relates to a BT based telephone number in the UK.
Now I have had this number for about 18 months since i moved house and ever since I have had this number; I keep getting these calls from time to time asking for a specific person. Call her "Mrs X" for this instant.
Now the calls seem to be about Mrs X being in debt/financial issues, and after having trying to do everything to get them to stop, to no avail I continue to receive these calls - even after repeatedly asking them to take us of their database/system!
(I have tried to block the numbers via Caller ID (when & where possible), telling them she doesn't live her any more, that this person does not exist, that she's dead,etc...)
Is there any way i can sort this out without changing my number, and if so how?
Thanks: EVeares
1 AnswerLand Phones8 years agoSpeaker Glue to give back cone rigidness?
I once saw a video describing some sort of glue/spray that you can put on speaker cones that is supposed to give back their rigidness of the cone and improve the audio quality/clarity in some way.
Now i have only seen glue to re-seat the cone it's self and not to re-hardened it, does this exist and if so where can I buy it? (In the UK)
(Note i have a pair of 20 year old JVC 3 way 50w speakers, and just wondering if they have lost some of their audio quality/response in the high frequency range.)

1 AnswerAmusement Parks9 years agoNuisance telephone call help?
Ok let me explain my scenario, I have recently moved house and in the following have got a new BT landline telephone number what i keep receiving a lot of nuisance calls on.
Now I have had this new number for about 6 months and despite my best efforts, I keep getting allot of nuisance telephone calls what range from things like PPI claims, scam calls, general marketing and sale calls, and unwanted calls in general.
I also suspect someone used to have my number as some of the calls are debt collecting companies asking for a certain person. Now despite being TPS registered and asking the callers to remove us from there database, i keep getting these annoying calls.
Any ideas, is it time to change my number?

If 16 bit's limits the address space to 64KB, then how did 16bit OS's such as windows 98 accept ram larger than 64KB.
They must of got round it some how, can't we apply the same thing to 32 bit OS's and get round the 4GB address space limit?
