Hello, I need some advice from someone who knows about car audio. I am wanting to get these speakers for my car.. Alpine S-S65C S-Series 6-1/2" component speaker system.

I need to get an amplifier to run them with. The speakers are rated at 80rms max. The only sized amps I can find within my budget are 60 watt rms x 4 at 4 ohms. I have read that I should get a bigger amplifier than my speakers call for, but I cannot afford to spend that much on an amp unless it was a JVC or lower quality. This is the amp I am looking at getting... Pioneer GM-A6704. its rated at 60 watt rms x 4.

Will this be big enough to run these speakers well? and If I run this amplifier at full 60 watts x 4 will it over work and ruin the amp or speakers? I'm not sure how it works with maxing out the amp? I've read something about the amp clipping and ruining both the amp and the speakers, but do not understand the situation that actually causes that to happen? thanks

I am wanting to purchase new speakers for my 2001 e250 cargo van. It is a plumbing van and has no speakers in the cargo area. I'm wondering if there are only to 2 door speakers in the cab? Or if there are speakers in the dash also?

I don't want to take my whole dash apart to look for speakers until I got them purchased and I'm ready to install them. Thanks

Looking for some advice. I have a car that runs on propane and my gas tank is on Empty. I don t get paid for 2 more days and I have no money to refill the tank. I am really gassy though and was wondering if I rigged up a hose or something and kept farting into the gas tank if my car would run on farts Alone? At least enough to get me to work and home again untill I get paid? I know farts are a combustible gas. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hello, I have a plumbing business. This thanks giving I want to do a food drive where I have 3 days where I will go out on service calls for free (no labor charge for my time) In exchange for a minimum of a $50 donation to whichever catering service or grocery store that I can get teamed up with to cook and deliver a Full Thanksgiving dinners to needy families this Thanksgiving. I m hoping to get at least 15+ families fed that otherwise wouldn t have a meal or celebrate Thanksgiving.

My heart s in the right place, but I have never done a charity event like this so I am ignorant and how to go about it. What I need help with is this....

(1) Does anyone have ideas on how I can find families in need in my area to provide these meals for? I thought about maybe something on Facebook if someone knows a family in need.. but don t know how to go about it or what to post? And I want people s privacy kept confidential. I m afraid someone would post the name of a family and embarrass them on social media.

(2). I need some kind of media outlet to promote the event. I believe if people need plumbing service then these people be happy to take part and would like to see their money going to help the needy rather than to to pay the plumber. But they have to know about the event. I cannot afford to spend money to advertise the food drive, and especially since I will be working for free for 3 days. Will radio advertise charity events for free?

Just curious on your thoughts. I have a Master Plumbing License. Its not easy to get. I had to do a 5 year apprenticeship, attend classes, take and pass state and city licensing exams etc. I am 40 years old and want to switch career paths. Most if the good jobs I see want at least a bachelor's degree. Not necessarily in the field of the job, they just want you to have a bachelor's degree. I don't want to go back to college at my age. Do you think that me having a Master's Plumbing License would be equivalent to having a bachelor's degree?? Technically I have a Master's in Plumbing and water safety. Is that really that much different than a Master's in another field?? Just trying to get other people's perspective. The job applications ask if I have a college degree which is a qualification for the job. So I have to answer no. I do have a Masters in plumbing though. I feel like that should count for something as well. What are your thoughts? Any advice? Thanks

I'm wanting to level the concrete in my basement bathroom, and will be using self leveling concrete for my first time. I've watched some youtube videos on applying it and everyone is using a trowel to spread it after pouring it. So my confusion is this..If self leveling concrete is really self leveling, then why do you have to use a trowel to spread it? If you need to trowel the self leveling concrete, then in reality it is not actually self leveling, and it would also be possible to not spread it correctly and therefore have thick and thin spots or an uneven surface when finished.

I wanted to use self leveling concrete to level my floor because I thought it would be an easy way to level the floor as I am not a professional concrete guy, but I'm worried about it not leveling itself now after watching people having to trowel it. I am a plumber, and have broken up several floors in my day to make repairs and then patched the holes back up with concrete again. But when it comes to leveling out an entire bathroom floor, I'm out of my element. Any advice about using the leveler? My room is about 10ft x 5ft than I need to level. the 5ft with of the room is sloping towards an old floor drain that that use to be in the bathroom that has now been abandoned. the side of the bathroom that had the floor drain is probably an 1 full inch lower that the other end of the room. This is the gap I need to fill and level. Thanks..

Wondering if holy Water would kill off a staff infection if used topically?

I have a staff infection on my skin of my leg. Have tried antibiotics with no luck. The area is as big around as a quarter. I ve heard about using oregano oil topically, but it is expensive. I was thinking of trying to use Holy Water topically on the wound to see if it kills off the staph.. Any thoughts? Thanks

I want to start listening to am and SW radio stations. I am new to this. I just purchased the Eton Field radio. It has am fm SW 1,2,3. I turned on the SW and scanned slowly and spent 1 hour scanning all the way through sw1,2,3 and couldn t pick up a single station or even a hint of one on either of them.

I picked this radio after reading all the reviews about how superb the am and SW reception was on it. There is a jack for a SW antenna in the back, but the professional reviews I read talked about how good the SW reception was with the built in antenna, so I would assume I should at least get something? Any ideas or am I doing something wrong? I live in Lincoln, Nebraska. So that s where trying to receive from. Thanks.

I've been dating a girl for 6 months now. I was at a bar last night and went home with an older woman back to her place and ended up sleeping with her. Found out later it turned out to be my girlfriends mom. She knew her daughter was dating someone, by had never met him. So we didn't know each other since we hadn't met yet. Found out today when I was with my girlfriend and she had to stop by her moms house to grab something and I was the same house I was at last night. What are the odds? What should I do?

Met this gitl on pof. We went on date on friday which was dinner then out for ice cream. She had a very sincere smile and told me 2 different times how she had a really good time. We hugged at the rnd of the night. We went out again the very next night. Went to a movie, then back to her house to watch another one. We cuddled but it seemed very one sided, lime she was very stand offish about touching me or showing me any affection, but seemd,to be fine with me touching her. It was getting late and I said I should get going so she,could get some sleep. She asked if I was too tired to drive home I said Im fine. She said well if you want you can just sray the night here and sleep in her bed with her. I said ok, but in bed one again she was very stand offish. I kissed the back of her neck a couple times and tried to lean within kissing range but nothing. I tried to kiss her a few more times and had my lips by her mouth area at one point but she gave no hint of interest in kissing me so I didn't bother. I told her I couldn't sleep and didn't want to keep her up so I was gona head to my place. No good nigjt kiss nothing? So im getting mixed signals. Should I keep perusing her or move on? I really like her, but have never had a girl give me,mixed signals like this before. Im stumped?

I switched to a very healthy diet for 4 months avoiding bad foods and eating lots of vegetables and fruit. I was very constipated to whole time and when i did go it was small hard pellets. I drank lots of water also. Well , I lost will power and started eating crappy fatty foods again and am having regular soft bowl movements again. Shouldn't it be the opposite way around?

My gdfish is looking sick the last few days and swimming wierd. Would it be ok to drop an Alka- Seltzer cod and flu tablet into the tank to see if it helps him?
