I have tourettes and am familiar with most of the symptoms. I know that quick irritation can be a symptom, but what about noise irritation? I mean the nails on a chalkboard kind. For me, I can't stand hearing people (or pets) eat. I have to leave the room while my dog eats. It is more than just annoying. I want to scream at them to stop. I work at a place that offers free chewy candy at the register and hearing people smack their lips and breath loud make me clench my fists and try to generate the loudest thoughts possible in an attempt to shut out the noise. I'm not an angry person but I feel so enraged when listening to it.

My employer isn't fond of giving time off for ANYTHING and dentists and doctors seem to work the same hours I do (approximately 9 - 5.) Seems like it would be beneficial for them to be open at least ONE day during the weekend.

Meaning, when you download the game from the website are you playing the expansions as well, or is that content only available when you purchase it? On that note, what kinds of content are included in the expansions?

There is actually a lot to this story but here's a brief breakdown of what's going on. My wife is almost completely uninterested in being home or spending time with me. She isn't working and spends her whole day with her friends. When I get home from work she usually opts to spend another 3-4 ours with friends and has taken to spending the night as well. I've asked her if she's cheating and she promises me she's not and would never. She says that I should spend more time with my friends or find other hobbies, but all I really want to do is have some quality time with her. When we finally do it's not usually until 9 or 10pm. I don't see why her friend time during the day and SOME evenings isn't enough. Why does friend time have to take presidence over family time? I even asked her if she just wanted to split up, since she's not all that invested in our relationship. She cried and said that was the last thing she wanted, but the next day nothing changed. I haven't seen her in about 36 hrs. I've spoken to her only for a few minutes during this time. She says we need more time apart, but all it does is make me feel lonely and sad.

I live and work in Oregon. My work has two locations and early last year I was transferred to the second one. Now my manager wants me to attend an unnecessary morning meeting at the first location. I can easily conference in to the meeting and have in the past but this time they won't allow it. I told them last year that transportation back and forth would be an issue and they said it was fine at the time. Now they are saying, "find a way." I can not.Can they retaliate for this?

I am unfortunate enough to work in a senior center where my desk is not two feet from a dispenser of jelly beans. The sounds of lip smacking combined with dentures clicking in and out of place with the gooey candy irks me so badly I wish I could throw the darn candies away. Why does something as simple as a harmless sound cause so much distress?

My wife and I split two months ago, and it hasn't all been pretty during the last 60 days. A few days ago she realized her mistakes and wanted to get back together. We've working on our issues and going to make it work. The real problem though is that tonight is my friends birthday and we planned to go out to dinner. Up till now we were ALL friends but now the group going out to dinner say they're still mad at her and don't want her to eat with us. Now, I'm not the type to exclude anyone. I feel bad because a week ago it was all good. We were seperated and weren't planning on bringing her along. Now I don't want to hurt her feelings by going without her, and I don't want to hurt my friends feelings by skipping dinner. How can I please everyone?

I live in Oregon and my job pays on the 15th and the last day of every month. I have elected NOT to use direct deposit. (I know the benefits of direct deposit, but have my reasons.) The problem is that because of this I get paid between 1 and 3 days later than my co-workers that use direct deposit. Is this legal? It is awfully inconvenient.

My wife and I have been struggling lately in our relationship and for the last few weeks she's been sleeping at her friends house. After giving her some time to think I finally asked her, "Are we together or not?" and she answered, "We're not." But she said she didn't want to say we would never be together. That night I took off my wedding ring. When she noticed a few days later she found out and decided to get even by "fooling around" with some guy. She says I don't know him, but still wouldn't tell me his name. She says they didn't have sex, but I don't know if she's just saying that to keep the situation from getting worse. Now she says she might want to come home and work on our marriage. I don't know what to do.

I'm going on my second failed marriage and I don't think I have the strength to go through the whole marriage, children thing with anyone else. I'm afraid I've resigned to be alone for the rest of my life. But what is it like to have someone devoted to your relationship for so long? It must be wonderful.

Why would you want to be in that house?

I can't pay rent. My car payment is past due. I don't have car insurance because I couldn't afford to keep it. My storage unit is past due and I am soon to lose all of my possessions. Everything my family has of value is in the pawn shop and soon to expire. I don't even receive pay checks anymore because my bills have severely overdrawn my account. Whatever doesn't pay overdrafts gets used to automatically pay back my payday advance through the bank. I work full time and only earn about $900.00 per month. I've borrowed from everyone I could and they all want paid back NOW. Please, does anyone have ANY advice. My family has gone from the point of dreaming of luxuries to dreaming of holding on to whatever we have left.

I think I'm having it...

My wife and I have two room-mates. My first room-mate is a dream to live with. He's respectful, tidy, and interesting. My second room-mate makes enormous messes. Never cleans anything. Won't run or load the dishwasher. Leaves his things all over the living room. Makes loud noises (seriously, like explosion type noises) in the house ALL NIGHT. He is disagreeable, and has recently asked one of his friends (which he becomes more obnoxious around) to live with us without talking to the rest of us about it. So my question is this... Do you want my second room-mate? FREE TO GOOD HOME.

I work full time and my ex-wife (who left ME by the way) saps a gigantic chunk of my check in child support. My old beat up car just broke down again, causing hundreds of dollars in repairs. My fiance is unable to work do to a much needed surgery that doctors won't look at without insurance (can't get insurance -Pre-existing condition.) And we broke down our wedding next month to just the bare basics (and still can't pay for that.) I am desperate and willing to hear ANY suggestions that might help!

Why take pride in a place simply because you live there? That's like rooting for a sports team that stinks simply because you live closest to it. It doesn't make sense. The U.S. health care system sentences patients with low incomes and preexisting conditions to death. The U.S. gives away billions of dollars to irresponsible corporations while small business fail. The U.S. is bigoted against other cultures and life styles when other countries greet them with open arms. U.S. citizens ACTUALLY believe they are overseas fighting for freedom when OUR freedom was never at stake. (Do the research, I didn't see anyone knocking at our door.) Our nation is bad with finance, small minded, broke, and hypocritical. So why support a losing (loser) team?
