I have a 18 year old Blue and Gold Macaw that like many birds lays an egg from time to time.However lately she's been laying multiple eggs in a very short span of time .Back on October 20 she layed an egg and I know the normal gestation for a Macaw is around 28 days.So on Novemeber 12 she layed another egg (and around the normal gestation period).Then on November 18 she layed another,and a third egg last night (Nov21).That makes three eggs in 10 days (and they all looked healthy and had strong shells and nicely shaped).All that being said how is that posible...is it possible?

Earlier this morning I had asked a Lebanese man to show a I.D.as he entered the building (I do security for a school district and this is the policy for everyone who enters the building).He acted very upset that I would ask.Later when he left he said "Thanks John" which seemed unusual because that is not my name and my name is posted on my badge. All that being said does calling someone John in Lebanese culture have some kind of negative meaning that I am not aware of ?

Obviously we all expect to see red,green and white Christmas lights,but what is up with lavender Christmas lights? Is it in hopes that we will all be "happy and gay"?

I was holding my b&g Macaw tonight and she started staining and a few minutes later there was an egg.I had no idea that she was "with egg" (she hasn't been with any cocks....snicker,snicker). Anyway she seems fine now and she doesn't seem to know what to do with the egg. My question is I know this kind of thing is common but I'm not sure what I should do now.Even though she seems perfectly fine should I take her to a vet to get checked out? What should I do with the egg? Should I leave it with her for a few days or so,or should I just get rid of it? Thanks for all the helpful suggestions.

I've enjoyed Guinness draft for a while now and it's my favorite beer. I've heard that Guinness has come out with a new stout. If so has anyone tried it and what do you think? Is it as good as the original Guinness?

I'm looking for some new hard rock bands to listen to. Some bands I already like are Audioslave, Flogging Molly, Foo Fighters, Linkin Park, Shinedown, Staind, and Velvet Revolver. I tend to like more technical guitar and lyrics that are thoughtful and not all depressing (like some hard bands). Thanks!

I week from now I have jury duty,and I know I have to go through metal detectors (which is fine). I was wondering with security the way it is these days will I have any problem taken my Ipod with me? I would hate to drive down and go through all the security just to hear I couldn't take it in for some strange reason.
