Taking Ridgevon - is week after period safe?
If you re taking the contraceptive pill (mine is Ridgevon), is the week after your period safe? I ve only just started taking it; the first week was not safe as it was the first month and I took it at a random time in my cycle. Have taken it for 21 days, left it for 7 days (and had normal period) and start again today. Do I have to use other means of protection for the next week or is it ok from now on? Pretty sure the doctor would have warned if not, but just want to be sure since I m still a young adult.
1 AnswerWomen's Health5 years agoBest programming language to build a blog type website please?
Hii, i m thinking of building a blog type website in the near future in order to, in a way, advertise my various works. I m talking about music, fashion design, artwork, writing, etc. Being an ambitious person, I want to get my work out there and get it noticed.
The reason I want to learn a programming language is that it s a far greater challenge and much more interesting than using tumblr or interacting with a service. I m currently aged 17, so there is plenty of time for me to learn one. The blog would need to have different sections for different categories, be user friendly and include any specific visual features of a design (which I have yet to create haha).
I currently have no programming knowledge or experience, however like I said, I have time and if anyone could give me advice on where to start or which program to learn, i d be extremely grateful :)
Thanks!
2 AnswersProgramming & Design6 years agoIs it sexy to be curvy under 5 foot?
I know thus is a really shallow question, but I m quite self conscious about my body measurements.
I m 4"11, my measurements are 39-28-39, with E-F cup size. I m a couple of pounds overweight but trying to lose it. My legs are, ahem, very short to say the least and I also have thick thighs, with shoulders just a bit wider than my hips.
Is this okay or does it sound really weird and um, not sexy? :/
3 AnswersDiet & Fitness6 years agoguys opinions on tattoos ro cover scars?
I had an accident with boiling water, leaving me with scars up my arm. I was thinking of rather getting a sleeve/half sleeve with a deep and meaningful story behind it, or getting a skin colour tattoo to blend in. What would guys think? I would be doing it for me and not to impress anyone else, but I don't really want to ruin my romantic future :/ (I am only 16, so I cant
get anything now anyway, but need something soon, because I cant even wear short sleeves).
5 AnswersOther - Beauty & Style7 years agoConcerts in summer 2014?
Hey, gonna be bored this summer.. Just left school so no homework or anything :) just wondering if anyone knows of any alternative rock band concerts for this summer please?? Greenday, blink 182 or the like? My favourites are mcr and nirvana, but mcr split up and Kurt cobain has passed on :'( R.I.P. Or let me know of any other bands like them, or any punk, alternative or other rock concerts going on locally (in Essex). Thanks guys :)) appreciate it.
1 AnswerRock and Pop7 years agoRemove/cover scars?
Hi, I have a prom coming up in two months, and have really bad scars all over both my wrists, my upper right arm, chest, and right knee. They are from scabs from spots......don't know how it happened.... Anyway, I need an effective (non-surgical) treatment that will work in two months, I'm really desperate :( please help!!!!
4 AnswersSkin Conditions7 years agoLose weight with walking?
Hii :) I'm 15 years old, and have two months until prom. I really need to lose a stone in those two months!!! I've already lost two stone, but only over like, 7 months!! My current methods just aren't going to do it...I was running for half an hour every other day, but I really hate it.... I was thinking if walking for an hour every day or walking for an hour one day, running for half an hour the next, but need some advice. Obviously I know about healthy diet, protein and vegetables are what I eat mainly. If anyone could suggest a good time frame for walking, or a workout that would be great please :)) also, it can't take up more than 2 hours a day, because I have to fit in a lot of homework and studying for my final GCSEs in a month :/.
41 AnswersDiet & Fitness7 years agoWhat do you think of my prom look?
Okay, so I haven't got a picture, but I'll describe a look I'm considering for prom, and could you please tell me your opinion? This is for guys and girls, and thank youu :) his is what my dress is like, I'm keeping this, but more wondering about hair, makeup and jewllery.
So my dress is long, black, lace with sequins dotted around in patterns. It has broad straps, square neck with a slight vowel, is fitted through the body then flares out very slightly at the hips. I'm quite curvy (36-24-36), so I've had to have it tailored.
For hair, I was thinking really curly with lots of body, à la Jade MayJean peters from the voice, apart from my hair is really dark brown, almost black (my natural color) and my skin tone is similar to hers. I was thinking of wearing it like this with an orange/gold/brass array of freesia flowers on on side.
As for makeup, I was thinking glowing skin (as opposed to matte), medium brown smokey eye with darker brown, kind of smudgy, winged eyeliner and dark brown mascara (I have hazel eyes). Also, peachy blush, bronzer, and a "subtle-but-there" peachy, reddish, plum lip colour.
For jewllery, I was thinking a pretty gold drop necklace with garnets and matching earrings that I have.
I don't have shoes yet, but I was thinking gold, not sure what style, probably with a high stiletto and medium platform, possibly open to or sling back-not sure. Rat here that or black.
As for perfume, rather Chanel no.5, something freesia based or something oriental.
Sorry for making you read all that, but please share your opinions, as I'm interested to know if I should change anything, or if this look is stupid. thank you :)
1 AnswerFashion & Accessories7 years agoCatchy modern rock songs by girl bands for teens?
Hey, I'm a teen girl and really into rock music, I'm into like, Rolling Stones, poison, queen etc.. But I'm starting to get into more modern rock songs as well. I really like teenage kicks - the undertones, and in st. Trinians, there was a female cover of it. I was wondering if anyone knew any songs like the cover please? Thanks :).
2 AnswersRock and Pop7 years agoAre thick thighs attractive?
Okay, I'm got obese, I'm about half a stone overweight, trying hard o lose weight and tone up, but it's obvious that underneath, even at my skinniest, I will still have chunky thighs. I know this because I can feel the muscle underneath and my mum was exactly the same at my age. I like my bust to waist to hip ratio, whilst overweight I am 39-27-39 but will be roughly 37.5-26-38 when I am fully toned and have list that half a stone. I am also very short (4”11 :p) and was wondering, are thicker thighs attractive? Or do guys prefer long, skinny legs? :/
2 AnswersDiet & Fitness7 years agoWhat would draw you to a girl at prom? (Guys)?
Hey,mum 15 with prom coming up, and I know this isn't all prom is for; it's to make memories, but I think dancing with a guy I have a crush on will make it extra special, so obviously, I want to look nice :) if it's okay, could some guys please give some opinions on what would be attractive to you, and make you wanna dance with a girl? I have some ideas, like touchable fabric such as velvet or silk (purely for the dancing), naturalish makeup and not too overdone hair etc, but apart from that, any colour ideas of preferred looks? Thanks :)
1 AnswerSingles & Dating7 years agoGuys' opinions on a prom look please?
Hey, I have prom coming up, and need some guys' opinions for an appropriate look please :) I know it should be my own choice, but think some teenage or young adult guys points of view would help :)
Dress - I know I don't want some poofy princess dress, but I do want a long dress, what colors would draw you to a girl? What kind of look would you go for? Romantic, exotic, glamorous, sexy, traditional?
Hairstyle - updo, hair down or half up? Curly, wavy or straight?
Makeup - I was thinking fairly natural looking, yet a bit more dressy than usual, like a medium brown, shimmeryish smokey yes, natural lip colour and peachy blush, but not sure. NO fake lashes haha.
So if any guys (or girls) have opinions, please let me know :) thanks for the help.

1 AnswerFirst Aid7 years agoHow to live like it's an earlier decade?
I've always loved earlier decades (1950's - 1980's) and life seemed to be much simpler then, also with better music etc. today, as a teenager I have an iPad, TV etc etc and am just surrounded by technology; I hate it because it's addictive, and really unhealthy. For example, on eve you check your Facebook, you can't get off it. Back then, they didn't have iPads etc, in terms of fun and activities, people used their imagination, creativity etc and met up with people. I can't just go out whenever I feel like it because it's a small village of people I don't know, but I need to learn to use time more productively :/ any ideas? (Not interested in drugs or anything some people used to use or use today).
1 AnswerOther - Society & Culture8 years agoVintage fashion for 15 year old?
Okay, I already have an hourglass figure (VERY hourglass, a la Marilyn Monroe :p) and I love the clothes she used to wear, but the style is too adult and mature for a 15 year old to wear..any ideas of how I can 'young it down'? Thanks for any ideas.
4 AnswersFashion & Accessories8 years agoExercise an hourglass body?
Okay, so I have an hourglass figure, currently 39,28,39, but like a stone overweight. I know running is good for burning fat, and that underneath I could still be about 38,26,38 (broad bones) but I want to make sure I'll have defined calf muscles and curvy legs, and be completely proportional, (and maybe have broader hips) does anyone know a particular way to run/jog that helps these things most (if there is one) or know of any exercises to keep and make curves? Thanks
3 AnswersDiet & Fitness8 years agoSexy, manly Italian male names please?
I'm writing a "naughty" story, it's not based around naughtiness, but it's set in Italy and I want the mans name to be sexy, strong, manly and gorgeous. A little bit like Paolo out of friends. I don't need to know about the culture of Italy, because I'm not mentioning that, that's just where it's set. Thanks :)
5 AnswersOther - Cultures & Groups8 years agoCurvey girls or straight-shaped girls?
Just wondering. I'm personally Curvey, (39-26-39) but I was just wondering if this is a good or a bad thing, thanks.
