  • How do I continue a pen path in photoshop from an anchor point?

I'm using photoshop to trace something with the pen too, but I'm running into some issues - is there a way on the PC version of photoshop to continue the path from a manually chosen anchor point?

I am trying to do this outline all in one path, but cannot figure out how for the life of me.

There are three things I want to do:

    1. Draw a line between two anchor points to form the box I need (this is where working from a manually selected point would be helpful)

    2. Complete the outline from a different point.

    Is this possible? I'm stumped.

  • Is it worth getting a tablet?

I'm debating getting the $400 Galaxy Tab 10.1, but here's the thing.... I have a laptop that's barely a year old and I also have a Nexus S. Would it be worth the money to get a tablet, or should I just stick with what I have?

  • Why is there an apparent offset in the centuries?

What I mean by this is... why is it the 18th century if it's only the 1700's? What led to this?

My guess is something to do with the Julian/Gregorian calendars, but I have no idea.

  • Why does the processor use so little of its power?

Tops I've ever seen is 19% on a quad-core. Why does it not use more? I'm curious to know.. I understand that memory is a consideration, but to use an example... I'm copying an 8GB file right now, and it's taking its sweet time, the processor is barely registering over 1%. Is this because of Teracopy, or does somebody have an interesting fact for me?

  • Who was that President kicked out of that Carribean country?

I can't remember the country, but there was this one leader in the carribean in fairly recent news who was overthrown by the military on the supreme court's orders, as he kept trying to extend the constitution to let him have more terms.

I can't remember the country, I think it was the dominican republic, I'm almost certain it wasn't haiti.

  • How to say kid in spanish?

I mean it as in the familiar 'kid'. Like in those wrestling movies with the hotshot agent.

'You'll go far if you stick with me, kid'

  • In spanish can you use the gerund in this way?

It would seem that most times, the infinitive means the same thing, but as an example, can you say this: "Considering this fact..." as "Considerando este hecho..." or would it be "Considerar este hecho"?

I'm still learning some of the grammar, so I'm not sure xD

This is the full sentence I'm looking to use it in:

¿Considerando este hecho, como podemos mantener una vida sana y obtener la paz de mente que viene consigo?

  • iPhone 4 construction similar to 4S?

My father recently bought an iPhone 4S to replace his old iPhone 3, but of course, he should get a case for it to offer some protection. I was just wondering if buying a iPhone 4 case would not work well for a 4S if there have been any design changes.

    Thanks!

  • Would you consider it rude if I asked you..?

If you were from a country that your physical appearance would suggest or that, but you were actually born here?

For instance: Brown skinned fellow in Canada, ask if he's Indian.

I've wondered if this actually offends people. In Canada it seems to be used more to bring up discussion of heritage than any sort of xenophobia. Anyhow, thanks for the answers!

  • How do I break out of my comfort zone?

Here's my problem: I'm kind of cripplingly in this psychological 'comfort zone'. I know it is probably utterly pathetic, but I'm 18 and I was extremely apprehensive about taking Public transport.... for the first time.

I'm in university now, and while I really want to become a politician, I'm obviously not on that path. I really want to figure out a way to get more from my life than I am right now.

I'm a bit of a computer geek and whether real or perceived never feel I have time for anything. I don't want to give up the computer entirely, but I'm having a lot of trouble convincing myself that I have time for other things.

I was thinking of volunteering, but I'm also somewhat socially awkward which creates problems of its own. I'm open to any advice except clubbing, as I don't really want to be tempted into consuming alcohol.

  • Solution to old riddle?

I could probably get it if I thought it out, but I don't even really remember the premise that well.

    Anyhow, two requests:

    1. Can somebody please give me a detailed version of it.

    2. What is the solution supposed to be?

The riddle in question involves a Truth teller and a liar. Something to do with a fork in the road or a gate and you need to ask only one question to determine who's who. What do you say?

  • What's the Steven King film where the children have psychic powers?

See above. I want to find it online, but naturally having a name to place it by helps.

  • Do you think parents should help pay for post-secondary?

I'm just wondering what you think. The Alberta government automatically assumes they pay a portion of your education on student loans, and I think this is wrong. They're under no obligation.

Do you think parents should help pay for their kids' education?

  • Does anyone have the exact place to apply for British citizenship?

As far as I can tell from what I've read, I would be eligible for it through my mother (who has never formally renounced it). I'm Canadian born (With Canadian Citizenship), though, so I don't know. I would be hoping for Dual-citizenship.

Anyhow, supposing I am, I'm amusing my mother would have to apply on my behalf, but she's one of those people who insists on having a "direct link" to anything that needs doing, so can somebody tell me where this process would be started?

  • Is Sikhism really so enlightened?

My knowledge of it is restricted to a Sikh friend and Wikipedia, but I wanted to ask (preferably only Sikhs answer, please!)

Anyhow, I was taken with how peaceable and enlightened Sikhism & its gurus seem in comparison to most other faiths of a similar nature. Is it really true that they place such a strong emphasis on equality and tolerance?

Also, what is the Sikh stand on things like homosexuality?

  • Turn off comment notifications on YouTube?

Alright, I have a bit of a penchant for arguing different points on YouTube, but I do well with an "out of sight, out of mind approach". That said, is there a way to disable ONLY the comment emails I get from replies to my comments on videos?

I still like getting emails for friends, channel comments, and subscriptions though.

  • Is law enforcement in Western society generally allowed to...?

    Employ agents provocateurs?

I know they're allowed to go along with an illegal act, but I want to know if while undercover, officers are permitted to try and get others to instigate them.

  • What annoys you most about Rap/Hip Hop?

For instance, what irritates me is how it is a bunch of ignorant scum perpetuating this image that all blacks are just about getting ho's and can't even speak like intelligent people. It's also a horrible form of "music" if one could even call it that.

  • Why has good music died?

Why is it that most of the classic music probably couldn't even make it today?

Why do people keep propping up these moronic teenage idols for mind-numbingly stupid songs about "I had a girlfriend, then we broke up, then we got back together, broke up, but not really"?

Are there still people out there who appreciate good stuff like Lynyrd Skynyrd?

  • Is it just me or is this song really catchy?

Don't worry, it's something good. An adaptation of a classical piece by Bach.

I've been listening to it since this morning, and I can't get it out of my head, it's really good.
