Hello, so I'm 17 turning 18 and I play varsity baseball and I'm senior my dad loves baseball like loves it and I've come to a conclusion that I don't love baseball I only play it to make him happy but playing it doesn't make it me happy and I've decided to not play this year which is my last year in high school I don't want to play anymore because I don't enjoy it anymore I don't care for it I'm not committed to it I just want to graduate high school go to college and live a good life I have good talent for baseball but I don't wana play it anymore so I told my mom and she understands she thinks I should finish my last year but she still understands my decision so she said she will help me break it down to my father and I'm scared because she tells me in gona break his heart and I don't like to break peoples hearts let alone my dad it's hurts me and I feel sad but it's my choice I don't want to play some people say I'm making a mistake and I'm stupid for quitting on my last year of high school but I don't think it's a mistake I think it's just a choice and to me I feel it's not the best choice but it's the choice that makes me happy I dont know what to do because I really don't want to play like I refuse to play any advice ?

Ok so I have an Akita girl she 2 years old and she sees my father as the alpha male and he talks very loud sometimes when there's no need but that's how he talks and she hears the tone of his voice and she thinks he's yelling at her when he's talking about a baseball game or something so she goes into a corner in my room and she shakes out of fear I guess and I try to calm her down but she doesn't want me to I gave her a hug and said it's ok but she took her paw and put it on my arm almost like a human does when he/she doesn't want you touching them and can she have a heart attack or something ? I care for her very much and she's a strong dog she usually never gets scared it's only when my dad raises his voice she becomes uneasy because she sees him as the alpha male and my father is very stubborn he loves my dog too but he will not change the way he talks so please don't say "well tell him to lower his voice" any advice ?
